Cerau releases a breath as the drake falls to the ground and she smiles at Tyto, nodding her thanks. The spirit is beautiful, she thinks to herself as her hand unconsciously reaches to the pendent in her pocket, "Thank you Mozilla, I am glad that your firelight is a force of guidance for our friend. I feel as if some extra guidance won't go astray in the coming days."
She then crosses to Swan and looks to Escobert, she offers her arm for to Swan to lean on if needed. Speaking to both Swan and Escobert, her gaze shifting between the two, "Are you okay? I still have some healing magic if you need it."

"Just a small bite, nothing more."Swan meets Cerau's concerned gaze and shakes her head, her eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and self-assurance. "I will be fine,"she reassures her friend. "You should save your healing powers for those who need it more."
Despite the throbbing ache in her leg, Swan's attention shifts to the ethereal form of the Fire Elemental, Mozilla. A warm smile graces her lips as she locks eyes with the elemental being. "Thank you for your help, Mozilla. It is a pleasure to fight by your side."
Mozilla, being in the middle of attention, raised her tail proudly. She moved closer to Cerau raising one of her paws as if trying to get her scent, but suddenly moved next to Tyto and brushed his legs with her flaming body.
@Sabynn The damage is significant. The bar keeping the gate closed and it's mountings are broken in half, the gate's hinges are damaged as well. Mending could fix this but it will take time... You estimate about 5 to 6 castings... So 6 precious minutes...
Escobert examined the damage to the gate. "We are wide open if they try to storm us..."
"I can close the gate but I need time."Sabynn quickly says to the others and moves closer to the gate, starting to quietly chant in high elvish as the silverflame crystal hanging from her delicate neck shimmers with magic, as does her slender fingers as she moves them over the broken bar.
Sabynn kneels next to the beam that is used to lock the gate. She moves her hands over the break, chants the spell words. Splinters slowly implode creating whole fibers of wood. The break begins to heal.
Meanwhile, few of the guards begin to clear the bodies from the sally port and the courtyard.
Escobert turns to one of the guards "Go to the keep and see if anyone knows the mending cantrip! Fast!"the guard runs through the courtyard "Any second counts!" he shouts behind him.

"I can help with that,"Cerau says as she moves her gaze from Swan to the gate. She crosses to stand next to Sabynn and with a swishing movement of her hand, places her hand on the handles that hold the beam her friend is repairing.
While she channels the goddesses energy into the gate, she tries to listen for any sounds coming from outside.

While Sabynn and Cerau repair the gate, Swan takes up her position near the damaged gate, her spear held firmly in her grip. Her gaze scans the area, her senses heightened and attuned to any sign of movement or impending danger.
As Cerau has joined Sabynn in mending, the work went twice as fast. One has focused on the beam, the other has chosen another item. During that time, some of the guards have come bringing cases and barrels to block the gates if needed.
As currently there are no incoming threats, Swan has noticed a crude battering ram laying on the other side of the gate. Most likely it was used to break the gates by the attackers.
The beam is now whole again... moments later a lock. One minute has passed...
There are hinges and handles to place the beam on and the spell casters have started to fix these.
The gate, as the hinges were repaired, have returned to the upright position as one of the guards have come. A bit tired, he came from the top of the wall. "Sir... They... they are gathering on the crossroads."
The second minute has passed...

Noting the battering ram, Swan goes over to the other side and tries to maneuver it inside the gate so the enemies won't be able to use it again. Then, together with the guards, she helps them block the gate using cases and barrels.

Slowly the broken and bent steel was forced by arcane power to its original shape. Whispers of both maidens mixed with orders given by Escobert.
The third minute has passed...
As soon as the handles were fixed, the beam was put in place and all the gate was reinforced with everything the guards could bring as well as the battering ram.
"That looks solid... Thank you..." said the governor "You have given us a chance to survive this night. We are forever grateful..." however at the same time frantic bell sound was heard coming from the top of the tower. "Dragon.... The dragon is com..."
The scream was silenced by electric arcs and cracks. Looking up, you have managed to see the passing shadow in the sky, still crackling with energy. Moments later a body of a guard fell to the ground. It's steel armor is bent and skin charred by lightning breath of the dragon.
"By gods..."governor Nighthill looked at the body shocked, however a strong voice of Escobert was heard almost immediately.

Without hesitation the white-haired elven maiden grabs her longbow and heads out into the courtyard and up to the parapet, hoping to help fight off the blue dragon that terrorizes Greenest.

Unless directed elsewhere, Sabynn would head for the parapet above the front gate. Y'landtrothiel would try to keep Sabynn informed of the location of the dragon.
The dragon is making a circle above the flame and smoke covered town. It will take it about a minute or two to make a circle assuming it will maintain current speed.

As electricity crackles through the air above, goosebumps travel up Cerau's arms, the memory of a larger more powerful dragon surfacing in her mind. It's eyes stare into her soul, she feels it's power in the air around her and the echoes of it's voice ring in her ears. We will meet someday, Child of Wind and Stars...
Her vision snaps back to the present and Cerau yelps, half expecting lightning to course through her body. She looks around, Sabynn already heading for the parapet above the gate and the rest of her companions beginning to move. She looks to Tyto and Swan thinking that their battle styles had been more focussed on hand to hand combat from what she had seen and offered them a grim smile. She could help in that vein too but Sabynn shouldn't be running off alone and she did have some ranged magics. As she starts to follow the white-haired elven maiden, her airy voice travels through the sally, almost dancing with the traces of electricity that hang in the air, "We need to draw the dragons attention away from those who would be helpless against its breath."

As the crackling energy and the lifeless body of the fallen guard jolts the atmosphere with incoming danger, Swan's instincts kick into high gear. She locks eyes with Cerau, recognizing the urgency of the situation. She exchanges a grim nod with her, picking up her spear as she follows her. "You're right. I'll come with you."
As Tyto sees the already lifeless body of the lightning-stricken guard soaring through the air towards the ground, he feels only one thing throughout every pore of his body: fear.
"So, it's not an illusion" he mumbles, more to himself than for anyone in particular to hear. How could they hope to persist against an enemy this strong?
"Archers, we need archers up on the tower!"
"We need to draw the dragons attention away from those who would be helpless against its breath."
Tyto was stumped - what should he do? Support the archers, or distract the dragon? What good could arrows do against a dragon? But then again: What sort of dragon could fall for a simple distraction? And did he really want to be on the receiving end of that lightning breath? Tyto looked imploringly first towards Mozilla, then - when she didn't show any inclination to tell him what to do - towards Swan.
"You're right. I'll come with you."
Okay then, let's shoot the dragon. Tyto grabbed his longbow from his back and joined Cerau and Swan, motioning for Mozilla to follow him.

Noted. Do you have any orders for Y'landrothiel?
You have actually 2 most obvious areas from where you could get a good view for the incoming dragon:
The 4th floor - the top of the walls with possible shelter above the gate and in the tower
5th floor - the top of the tower with possible shelter in the central area of the tower.
