Calna, embarrassed by her previous attack and concerned about her new friend Tara, is unsure what to do next. But knowing that her new friends have put themselves throw so much she decides to try again. So she steps forward and swings her sword at the beast.

Attack Roll: 11 Damage Roll: 2 +1
OOC- Goodness gracious... Can't swing a sword worth a lick.
(It’s okay! Tara will pick up your slack!) Tara, drawing her mace, calls out in prayer. “Goddess of the Mists, Holy Ezra, give me the strength to slay this beast in your name.” She finishes her prayer and swings her mace forward towards the beast-man!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The mace swings hard into the creature - but before it strikes it suddenly glows a grey color, the color of Mist. This light seems divine in nature irregardless of its color, and Tara swings it into the beast man’s jaw hard.
"Just let it go," Lesqwyn suggests as she sees the beast flee. She eyes Tara warily, "Seems you chased the beast away. One fortunate stranger in the Mist and one unfortunate. Although, I suppose there's still time for you to turn on us." She turns, looking ready to continue on their travel.
Tara frowns, looking upset. “I don’t turn on people… that’s mean.” She girds what’s left of her robes and keeps her mace out just in case anything else occurs.
(You can still talk about the events of the fight, I’m just moving forward a bit)
After five more hours of travel through the Mist, no other incidents occur - and the Mists slowly part to reveal sunshine, and the heat that comes with it. The air around you is humid, making sweat drip from your bodies as the Mists continue to part and you continue to move. The Mists fully fade as you find yourselves standing in thick grassland. A dirt road in the distance leads to a settlement farther away, and continues beyond that to the west but beyond this there don’t seem to be any people around. The Mists close behind you, and Souragne stands before you. A signpost in front of you points North to Marais d’Tarascon, East to Port d’Elhour, and West to Thibaut. The closest settlement to your present location is Marais d’Tarascon
Drexium ever the optimist, "Ah sunshine and warmth. A blessing indeed. I had trouble damaging that beast. A first for me I must say. This land is strange and the beast just as much too. I will reflect on some of my priest's teachings as I grew to try and recall things that may test us further on. We must work together to survive this. We can all survive this if we work together. Did anyone get hurt badly from the encounter. I am no cleric, but I have limited healing abilities."
"Be wary as things may not be as peaceful here as they are where we came from. My hope is that we can find answers ahead though."

Wex lets out a sigh of relief "I am glad that beast is gone, though I do mourn the lost of my favorite dagger."I always had a healthy respect for the Mist but that was just plain frightening. Once we are done I vow never to go near the Mists again. Oh drat we have go through if we want to go home. Well lets just hope when that times comes we won't run into any other dangers. He then ponders the signs post "Shall we head to the nearest settlement Marais d’Tarascon. I am not sure how long it will take to finish our task and we may need a temporary place to sleep"
Wex feels the dagger sheathe hidden in his leather glove and to his surprise his favorite dagger is in its sheathe. "Hmm... I think that Mist had some effect on my mind. Well a happy accident anyway as I got my dagger back"
"Clearly we are under prepared for what we are walking into. Our, forced backer of this, expedition, didn't require a timeline, so despite my distance for public appearances, I think we should go to town. We can rest our wounds, learn some information of what we may expect and possibly better equip ourselves."
Potentially leave this priestess behind in the process, where she potentially may be kept out of harms way, and not pose a threat to the group either. Her injuries may aid in convincing her to stay behind. She was useful back there, but that stare down leaves a pit feeling in open space under my rib cage. Maybe in town we can learn more about this god of hers, that may clear up her intentions.
Lektra turns to the priestess who was able to successfully fend off the werewolf, and back to the group. "I agree. Clearly a... different set of equipment is in order for most of us."
Lektra turns back to the priestess "I would like to think I am owed a small debt for saving your life back there." She removes her rapier from her side and holds it reverently before her "This blade has been in my family for generations. It's balance is perfect, it's profile understated. It has saved my life more times than I can count. But clearly there are things out here that simple steel will not be able to defeat. Would you or your order be able to bless this sword? Bestow the ability to fight these types of creatures?"
Tara blinks. “Ummmm…” She seems a bit embarrassed as she looks at Lektra. “I’m… a priestess in training. I don’t… really know how to bless or consecrate objects or weapons yet…. Sorry…”
"Lot of good saving you did me..." Lektra says to herself under her breath as she resheathes the sword. "Lets go to town." She says in her regular voice.

Attack: 4 Damage: 6
OOC - I'm not sure the +6 was not added to the attack roll but it should be a 4+6=10. That may still not hit though..Ugh.

The attack misses as the beast-man leaps out of the way.
Calna is next!

Attack Roll: 19 Damage Roll: 6 +1
The attack once more misses as the beast swings his hand forward to block the sword. Tara is up next and I’ll take her in a moment.

The creature staggers back in resounding pain, teeth from his wicked maw flying out into the Mists. He looks at Tara…

And turns to run off into the Mist.

(You could’ve picked the dagger back up from within the Mists. I’ll allow it just this once without any consequence or loss of your favorite dagger 😉)
