(He is telling the truth.) Baron sighs and stands up, brandishing a sword. “As promised… I’ll put you out of your misery… unless… one of you would prefer to kill him?”
The sword has a curved blade - and is especially shiny. Your reflections show within its metal blade as she extends it to each of you - trying to see who is willing. Upon its hilt are diamonds of red and grey. “Well..?”
"Must we kill him here, on the table? I was looking forward to an after-intimidation snack..." Lektra coos from her chair "And I don't have much of a stomach for public murder..."
“You may kill him wherever you like… but he must die.” Baron says as suddenly - with one arm - she lifts the injured man who struggles to fight his way from her grip, pleading for mercy. “Will anyone end the misery of this poor man?”
The sword is plunged into the man’s throat as Baron lays him against the wall. Baron smiles as she assists Drexium in guiding the blade to this spot until the final plunge… as blood splatters and gasps for air are seen and heard… before silence. Baron takes her sword from Drexium promptly, chuckling. “I was hoping you would do it, dear.. very good.”
Hmm, I was expecting there to be some sort of catch for using the sword, oh well missed opportunity to get a blade in hand. Still seems like a foreign concept to need to rely on material weapons, I wonder if I ever did before...
“Well…” Baron smiles as she turns to the party. “We have a location for your first vault. Luckily I have an item that will allow transportation to Souragne.” She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a rabbit’s leg.
Calna can be heard gasping as Drexium plunges the sword into the man. She's grabs her overalls fiercely to brace her self.
"Undead" Calna whispers. She looks at the rest of her party. "When do we leave? Will we get our stuff back?" Looking at Baron as she asks these questions. Aware that she may have over done it with the questions yet again. Turning to her comrades but keeping her gaze down Calna softly, and unsure that anyone will even hear her, says "I appear to not have the same history as the rest of you and I'm unsure what I am getting in but I hope I can help". She then steps back again, rubbing one button on the top of her overalls from nerves trying to keep her breathing steady.
“Your equipment…” Baron says as she suddenly calls for a guard. Said guard walks in, carrying bags of all of your stuff which is dropped on the table unceremoniously. “As for the Undead..” She turns to Wex. “Souragne is full of them.”
Wex Vibler collects his gear and takes hold of his Viol. Taking time to inspect it as he plucks a few notes. He attaches his blades to his belt and gives his pack a stiff. He scrunches his nose a bit. "Well everything is more or less how I left it. At least nothing a good bar of soap and water can't handle." He tips an imaginary hat at Baron "I am ready to go"
Lesqwyn watches the execution of Terrin impassively. Watching as Baron almost immediately pulls out the rabbit leg to allow travel to Souragne, she briefly raises a brow, curious as to how she had the exact thing they needed. But the emotion passes in an instant. She rises to move over to find the equipment that might belong to her. Though she gives Drexium a brief look as he comments about killing the man.
Reaching the spot where everything was dumped, the half-elf goes directly for a fairly large, book bound in almost black leather. She opens it, quickly leafing through it before closing it and starting to search for other items. Next is a wand made of dark wood, mostly smooth, with a few curved lines carved into it for decoration. Eventually she finds a backpack, and rifling through it seems to have a wide variety of items - ink, papers, flasks, torches, a few other items. She takes it up, grabbing a small dagger as well. Seeming content, she moves away to make sure everything is organized.
Ignoring the others, after a few moments, she takes up the wand, chanting arcane words and making a series of motions. A faint glimmer of magical force surrounds her as she completes it. (casting Mage Armor and triggering Arcane Ward feature with 11 hp)
"All right. I'm ready to go," Lesqwyn proclaims. "I presume we go immediately?"
“Oh, yes. You will leave immediately. Do you have any questions?” She asks as she steps over to Lesqwyn and places the Rabbit’s Leg in her hand. “Any of you? If not, I’ll go ahead and tell you how this object works.”
"Is there a way to contact you if something goes awry?" asks Wex Vibler as he shoulders his pack. Since I am working for the Kargat police, mind as well use them to aid us.
“There isn’t. You’ll just have to make your way back here.” She reaches into her pocket and tosses Wex a coin stamped with the face of an older gentlemen, who is frowning. “Any more questions?”

As Drexium walks forward to perform this gruesome task, Lektra subtly averts her eyes.

"Death isn't all that it's cracked up to be."
“Well…” Baron smiles as she turns to the party. “We have a location for your first vault. Luckily I have an item that will allow transportation to Souragne.” She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a rabbit’s leg.
Wex shakes his head at the corpse of Terrin and looks to Baron. "Do you have any leads on finding the undead needed for the vault?"
Calna can be heard gasping as Drexium plunges the sword into the man. She's grabs her overalls fiercely to brace her self.

Heiric let out a audible sigh hearing the undead weren't going to be something the group was going to have to hunt to find.
Seeing the equipment dump, he spends more time observing who collects what gear, then worrying about gathering his own.
Wex Vibler collects his gear and takes hold of his Viol. Taking time to inspect it as he plucks a few notes. He attaches his blades to his belt and gives his pack a stiff. Drexium tries to hide the disgust as for Baron as he moves to wipes the blade of blood before handing it to Baron.
"I figured as much. I wasn't waiting around for anyone else to have to deal with what needed to be done."
Drexium new that was a piece of mercy for the poor man.
"Very good. Now that we all have are gear back, we can get down to business."
Drexium grabs his stuff up and gets it all sorted out and inventoried. "Seems to be all here."
He looks about to see what the others grab up.
