Fargrim easily blocks the trolls attack with his shield. His voice still augmented with thaumaturgy, he yells to his companions "YES! BURN IT WITH FIRE!" while swinging his axe at the great beast. Turning to Arryn, Fargrim adds "AND YOU, NO TIME TO BE SLEEPING ON THE JOB!" as magical healing energy from his voice carries to his faster and squishier companion. All the while, Fargrim moves to clear an angle for burning hands in hopes of Solaster delivering a final blow to the rapidly healing monstrosity.

I don't have any way to set him on fire... I hope they figure out something, quick. If they don't... Alan looked behind him to the mouth of the cave. They're on their own.
Alan fired off another two shots of his crossbow at the troll's eyes, holding the weapon steady on top of the barricade.
(OoC: Does anyone have a torch? A lit torch deals 1 fire damage when used as an improvised melee weapon. Also, if someone could add me to the group chat again... phone fail.)

Fargrim blocks the first attack with his shield, but isn't quite fast enough to block the second one. When the troll bites down on his shoulder, Fargrim suffers from a momentary lapse in concentration, and there is a brief flash of light as his shield of faith sputters and dies.

Solastor tries to climb the troll's back and although his jump barely was able to get him very far up the troll he took hold and began to dexterously climb the beast, using the cuts in it's flesh as hand and foot holds. Dex save: 19 The burning hands however only hit the creature with a glancing blow. It does it's job however and the creatures healing stops. When Redmond fires off an eldricht blast it sucessfully hits and blasts a fist sized hole in the troll's chest and it's heart it burned from it's chest, killing it. The troll then begins to sway and starts to fall towards the sleeping goblins. (Solastor, dex save to jump clear or try to ride it down, your choice)
Seeing the troll fall to the Warlock's Eldritvh Blast, Fargrim runs to the nearest sleeping goblin. Dropping his battleaxe, he grabs his trusty rope and secures the goblin. "Lets secure these vermin. I'd prefer to put them out of our misery, but perhaps they can help us get past the portcullis."
After attempting to ride the beast, Solastor ends up getting his foot caught on one the of beasts projecting warts and falls face first on the ground with a rather loud *thud*. Fortunately he was not heard but it was definitely not very graceful. As he goes to stand he notices for the first time a side passage off the room you are in with the stench of the beast he had just been riding coming from the passage.

Seeing the troll crash to the ground, Alan lets out a sigh of relief. His eyes strayed over to the forms of the unconscious goblins.
"Hey Fargrim, why don't you use that rope of yours to tie up those goblins?" the human said as he began dismantling the barricade to allow him easy passage without having to climb.

Fargrim looks pointedly at Arynn, "I think we should take a moment to bandage our wounds. That troll took a number on me, as it did you. We're no use to the children dead. "Fire! Trolls hate fire!" Alan yelled to his companions from behind the barrier.
This is insane. I've seen a troll once before, but I never thought I would be crazy enough to fight one myself.
