Arynn will attempt to walk closer to the horse (since it apparently calmed down) to perhaps bring it back to the group. A pack horse could be useful for returning, perhaps more so if there is evidence or treasure once they are done.
Arynn will back away from the horse, not wanting it to bolt. He looks around to see if there is anything that is growing nearby he could potentially use as a "bribe" of sorts to feed the horse.
With everything calming down Solastor rolls to be on top of the grappled bandit and pushes him down to stand up, maintaining a ready stance in case the bandit tries to flee.
"Alright now, we have questions for you. Answer them well and you may walk away from this. Firstly, why were you holding this base?"
Casting Thaumaturgy to make his Eyes glow a bright red like a sunset.
"Arynn, try something a little more sweet. Here I've got some dried fruit in my pack."Avery will pull out a little bundle of rations and pick out the bits of fruit to hold up to Arynn.
(This is turning into the serious interrogation in the foreground while a pair of characters are doing the comic relief of chasing a horse in the background :-p )
The horse begins to move tentatively towards Avery snuffling at the proffered fruit cautiously.
Fargrim looks at the thief trying to determine what he could have bit and within moments he could see him starting to foam at the mouth but what exactly would have caused this is uncertain there are many possibilities.
"It looks like we're going to have to do this like regular folks then. Can someone keep watch while we try to find information? I will need to rest before we begin pursuing those who fled."
With that Solastor take a tired seat against the wall looking around the compound. After a brief pause he gets up and beings looking for information. Investigation: 0
Fargrim rushes to the poisoned thug. "Won't get off that easily if I have anything to say about it, coward!" He attempts to minister to the poisoned thug in a effort to prevent him from dying, realizing its probably too late, while simultaneously gleaming what information he can about the poison and its administration method. (Medicine: 9)
Solastor gives up trying to interrogate and looks around the compound but the smoke makes it almost impossible to see anything.
Fargrim tries to keep the bandit from dying but can not determine what exactly he did to himself. and his body begins to convulse erratically
Teller keeps an eye out and from the foaming of the bandits mouth you can tell he had some sort of poison he has ingested that is killing him. Possibly an extract from a poisonous plant.
