"Something definitely lives here."

Carl pads along, sends a message to Tharnak and Diana, “See or hear anything?  Which way should we go?”

“We’ve got two passages, little difference between them, but sitting on the left.”  He answers. 

Aedel looks at the options, then mutters to himself. "Let's take the passage to the right. There may be something on the left." He looks around. "Something is off, we might not be alone. This cave is not empty." He puts his hand up like he is feeling the air, than looks around with Perception 11

Hold on, when I hover over the roll it says I got 27, and something with an advantage. I'll try that again and see if the dice is working? 21

Good, it worked and gave me a high roll.

“We are here to defeat the guardians, why not start with the sleeping one?”

"That may be a good idea," Neil says when his companion mentions slaying a sleeping guardian. "Though maybe we should have someone double-check to make sure it doesn't have any more lively friends to deal with before we charge in."

Tharnak nods and proceeds down the left.

"Ok then. Just be careful."

“Right.  Let’s check out the snoring.  Good a place to start as any.”  Carl follows and heads toward the left passage.   

Aedel you also clearly hear the snoring sound, but the source of it is beyond the range of your dark vision.

Tharnak moves forward toward the sound.

As Neil stubs his toe on a rock he lets out a loud curse (while several of his companions are making their own cacophony).

"Well, so much for the sneaky approach," he growls, brandishing his staff like a club.

Aedel quickly blends into the shadows as he stealthily runs behind a rock, observing the source of the snoring with perception 8

Aedel is now perfectly aware of all surroundings.

Aedel you have the mind as quick as a serpent, eyes as sharp as an eagle and ears as keen as the dire wolf that is rising from the alcove where it had previously been resting at the end of the tunnel. Twin orbs of amber flicker open as the snoring stops, only to be replaced by a low guttural growl. (You also note that the passage turns sharply to the right just where the Wolf now stands)

The wolf raises it's head  and releases an echoing howl!

Everyone roll initiative as you hear sharp cries of alarm and the jangle of metal answering the alarm of the beast.
