Marley you spend the night tending the fire for your tea. Working from memory you are able to cut, chop, grind and mix all the ingredients with expertise adding all the ingredients at the appropriate time. By morning you have a bitter though sweet smelling brew.
Drinking it causes a burning to spread through your body as you fall to the ground in convolutions. A black sickly spelling ooze seeps from your pours. After a minute of intense pain. You take 8 damage. It ends and you feel... normal. It's strange, you felt fine before the drink but you feel more fine though a little sore from all the thrashing about
On watch Sam and Mickey both have uneventful watches enjoying the calm night something that has been lacking the past few nights. Maz you see a rat on the edge of the darkness just watching the camp. If you make any movement or give any indication you see it. It disappears in the brush before returning minutes later.
(You can attempt to do one thing if you wish or just note the strange creature. Up to you)
The sun rises on a beautiful day. After a quick breakfast the party makes ready to break camp and finally finish their journey to Norend. If there are no issues Sam you think you might be there before night fall.

The rest of the party find an exhausted but smiling Marley sitting by the dying campfire as he watches the sunrise. "I think I'm cured," he says with a sigh. "Tired, but cured..." He pulls out his pipe and has a smoke to celebrate, blowing a few smoke rings up into the tree branches overhead.
"Ah, thank you my friend," Marley replies to Sam with a huge grin.
"Happy indeed... though sad to have said goodbye to our friend. But clearly fate has bigger plans for him, yes? He watches the smoke rings linger and dissipate amongst the leaves for a moment, before venturing. "Well, onward to Norend then, I suppose..."
The party packs up camp and Sam drives the horses to the main road. The journey is uneventful and falling light the party is crossing the farmland just south of Norend. Off in the distance a small mountain stands alone against the endless sky. The city is built up around the south side. The Northside of the mountain is occupied but has been nicknamed darkside due to the fact it's in shade most of the day.
As the party gets closer 3 of the 4 sections of the city are more visible. The lowest ring market district, is the largest. It houses most of the lower class homes, shops and taverns/inns.
The next teir is the administration district. It houses most of the government functions including the admin house where you will take and turn in your jobs. The temple to the 5 is also in the district.
Last the upper most teir is the noble district it has the castle and most of the noble houses.
Maz would have noted the curious rat and chalked it up as an escapee from Crunch’s bag of rats. With a smirk he’d watch it disappear into the night, just like his pal Crunch.
On the way to Norend Maz would spend his time doing a mix of playing with cards, playing some music, and working on a ballad for Crunch. And of course, helping as needed.
Arriving in the city the party heads to the stables.
Stable Master: It's 5 sliver a day to be paid weekly or on exit. Failure to pay and we sell your horses 1week after ye late.
The party heads into the city. The city is larger than Arena but smaller then the capital. Mickey leads the way though the city to the Administration district gates.
Guard: Halt state you purpose!
Mickey: We are adventures going to the Admin House to deliver a package.
Guard: Admin House is closed for the night off with you!
Mickey: But we have a.....
Guard: I said off with you don't make me say it again little man.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Maz eyes the guard with a smirk. “Tsk tsk good man. I’d hate for the delivery we have to be late because of you. I’ll be sure to share that with the King. That is, unless you maybe had a change of heart and would allow us in to complete this delivery?” Maz gives the guard a wink and flashes a gold piece from his pouch.
Marley stifles a yawn and thinks to himself that he wouldn't mind just coming back tomorrow and getting some rest after his long night of tea brewing. But he watches to see how the situation will play out.
Guard: "Ye serve the King?" The two guards look at each other. "Look I'm just doing my job. I didn't know you where representing the King. I'll ignore the bribe if you forget my manners"
The guards open the gates and hurry you through.
Mickey: "Um thanks. Let's hurry to the Admin House. It should still be open"
The Admin House is a large building of three stories. It looks much like the rest of the Administrative buildings in the district. The gates are still open as you arrive and the two guards outside nod to you lazyly as you walk in.
The main hall is large with boards of job requests on either side. At the end of the hall is 3 large desks only one of which is staffed.
Impressed with Maz's diplomacy skills getting the group this far, and remembering his own failed attempts at negotiating with the rat king, Marley waits to see what Maz does next. He walks casually by the job board to see if anything of interest stands out.
Maz would walk with the group. Seeing just the one staffed table he would approach.
“good day. We seek the King. We are here to complete a delivery. Could you be so kind as to point us in the right direction” Maz laces his words with subtle hints of genuine charm.
An older halfling sits at the table and just gives you a stone face stare.
(Passed the check)
"Think your funny do ya? Want to see the King? Sure ok this is what you do. You head out that door and take the King's road south about 2 weeks to get to the Capital. Then you bother someone there. It's too late to deal with your like. Now either show me your papers or get out"
Mickey quickly jumps in. "Pardon us me lord my friend is new to this country and does not quite understand the politics. We have a delivery from the king to his brother the Duke of Norend."
The halfling's eye brow raises. "We were expecting you with the last caravan. The master said you where dead. Well let's have it then."
Mickey "oh right um..." he pats his pockets then looks to the others.

(Assuming we may have put the artifact in the Bag of Holding)
He reaches into the magical bag and produces the artifact, holding it up for the halfling to see.
