Walking in the hall way to the right you see two rooms. The room on the left has a young boy in his early teens dead on the floor with a short sword in hand.
The room across the hall is empty besides a bloody teddy bear
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Maziara enters the room and finds himself saddened seeing the young boy dead on the floor. He looks around for signs of other life, friendly or foe, or any sort of hint as to what went on in here.
Sam you get to focused on replaying the fight that you miss the details of the room. The boy seem to fight well by the look of the blood around the room but was not able to seal the win.
Maziara you see no signs of life in the boys room. He is holding a +1 short sword.
It seems the Kobold came into the room to grab the boy. He put up a fightvso they killed him. The room across the hall appears to be a little girl's room. Based on the blood stain they knocked her out and took her. There is a slight blood trail that leads out the back of the house. In the distance you see the barn.
Crunchface you walk into the closed door to find a master bed room. The final missing guard lays dead on the floor. Behind him lays an old halfing woman and two small children both dead.
Maziara has no use for the long sword so he would leave it for anyone else to scavenge. He looks at the group. “Well we found those guards, but this is a terrible scene. That poor old farmer will be devastated. And it looks like one child was taken for some reason.” He crouch’s by the teddy bear.
With a 13 you are able to follow the tracks to the barn.
The barn had been ransacked. There are broken barrels and supplies spread about. The barn itself is in rough shape and half of the north wall has collapsed.
The trail continues around the back of the barn and continues off into the woods to the north towards a cliff.
With the party passive Perception you can see a ruined building sitting atop the cliff.
As you continue to follow the path it eventually is blocked by a thicket of vines.
Crunchface heads to the open door.
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.

Marley moves up to the side of the door as Crunchface opens it, rapier drawn and a dagger in his offhand.
