“We could chat with the tavern keep or other folk in town to see if there’s anything near town worth exploring while we wait for the armor to be ready?”
Marley will agree to exploring if that's the consensus but is fine with taking it easy around town for the day as well. One thing that he would like to do if possible is find some time in the party's room at the inn to do some more reading in the tome found in the temple.
While waiting for Crunchface's staff axe the party goes to the Tavern. Asking about other leads the party learns of a strange part of the Timber lane to the east rommered to contain treasures. After picking up the staff axe the party traves into the woods.
The party follows the rough directions given to them as they head into the woods. After an hour on the main road east they find the side trail described to them.
Following the trail they come to an opening in the woods. 2 bear cubs in the clearing freeze and stare at you as you head a low growl. Turning around you see the largest brown bear you have ever seen approaching you.
You are between the mother and its cubs. What do you do?
"Let her get to her cubs," Marley says in a hushed tone. Without making any sudden movements, he starts to move out of the bear's way while keeping an eye on her.

(I’m good either way. If it hasn’t been an hour yet I’ll go explore as well if it has I’ll pick up my axe head)
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
