Seems the gods have a plan for you lot. I'll be interested in seeing where they take you. If you encounter anymore members if the void let me know. I have spys in all the major city's across Terra. Whisper to the willow in any of the cities and I'll get your message eventually.
Unless you have questions we should call it a night. I'm sure you want to continue on your way in the morning.
(If this seems acceptable, I would say Marley waited for Maz to nod off then woke up Sam and Crunch and told them the story he remembers, then asks them what they think the rest of the party should do about Maz and the dagger. Based on what they say, maybe someone would be on watch... or not if they put Marley at ease about it.)
Sam would have also concurred on something strange is going on with that dagger. "Let's wait and see what happens. I trust him, as I trust all of you."

Maz, in a dazed slumber, driven by the voice in his head, creeps to the nearest window (or some exit) and does his best to discreetly get outside. He searches for something, anything, that he can use as a sacrifice to quench the daggers thirst.
Maz you awake out of a deep sleep in a bit of a daze. You creep over to the open window and climb out. The moon is full and you can see quite well as you creep over to the garden. You see a few deer and some rabbits sleeping in the open. They look at you with a bit of curiosity but quickly go back to sleep. You also see Bon Bon sleeping in his room with the window open. While the dagger is urgent in getting you to feed it bon bon you elect to stab a deer instead. The dagger feeds greedily and soon only a husk remains. No longer hearing the voices you creep back to your room.
DM: I rolled stealth for you. 15. Only Marley has a passive Perception high enough to hear you leave.
About this time Marley you wake uo from a light sleep the story of the vampire still in your mind you can't seem to shake a feeling something is off. You hear sounds coming from out side. Taking a look you see Maz at the window of his room trying to climb back in.
Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Marley heads to his window and peers out into the moonlight to see Maz at the window of his room. Leaning out the windowsill he calls out in a hushed tone, "Maz... what are you doing?"
Maz’s eyes dart over to Marley. For a moment, they’re wild, nothing at all like Maz. Then they clear.
“I’m… I’m not entirely sure. I just had to come out here. Im sorry I awoke you. Goodnight.” Maz tries to end the conversation quickly and get back inside.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Oh, alright... good night then, friend." Marley says quietly, then returns to sit on the edge of his bed and think things over.
Deciding he should maybe take a look around, he waits 10 minutes or so for Maz to fall back asleep, then climbs out his window and attempts a stealthy patrol of the grounds to see if he notices anything amiss.

Crunch shakes his head no, no questions.
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
"Thank you, Grandmother..." Marley says quietly. He finished his tea, then stands and stretches with a yawn. "Yes, calling it a night sounds good."
"Thank you. Agreed, lets call it."
D&D since 1984
The party turns in for the night.
Around midnight Maz you feel a call in your mind.
Roll a Charisma saving through DC 15.
(Did Marley have a chance to discreetly tell Sam and Crunch about the vampire story he remembered?)
Yes you can say you waited till after Maz turned in then grabbed them or woke them up to tell them
Charisma save: 11
(Last one appears to have not worked?)

With the fail you feel compelled to follow the spirits demands.
The whispering in your mind gets louder and louder. Driving you awake.
Feed me mortal find me a life to drain!
What do you do?
(DM: is anyone still awake? This would be about 3 hours after Maz turned in for the night)

Thats what happens.
Crunchface nods agreement with Sam. “Is strange. But I think we wait and see.”

"Yes, I suppose that is best..." Marley agrees with a frown. "It was just a story I heard." He then heads to bed to try and get some sleep.

How do you two respond
