The party moves to follow the rat don't the second tunnel. It's not long before it disappears in a rat hole you can't follow.
Continuing on the tunnel widening and slanting up you soon find a point where you can climb out of tge water on to a walk way. More rats can be seen as you continue on but quickly scurry away as you draw near. Thus continues on for a bit as you pass by smaller off shoots. The deeper you go the more rats you see. Till you see a light up ahead hitting at a large open area.
Mickey: "If I'm not mistaken we are near the city center. I bet the area uo ahead is under the arena."
Marley with your passive you can hear voices echoing down the tunnel from behind.
The opening is roughly 50 feet away. The people behind the group are out of sight so at least 50 feet around a bend in the tunnel. The tunnel is just wide enough for 2 shoulder to shoulder. Youvare on a raised walk way that is only larger enough for 1. The water is 2 feet deep that takes up the rest of the room.
2 voices sound closer. (But still time to do something)
A deep voice. You hear something?
High pitched squeaky voice. "It's just your echo You idiot or the Rats they are always chatting. Cone on let's hurry the king won't be happy if we are late again. Especially with that man in black here"
Marley beat the DC.
As the party files into the wider tunnel. There are 3 larger tunnels that off shoot this main tunnel. 2 to the left 1 to the right.
Marley you see a rat swimming through the water and then Surry up the tunnel 2nd on the left.
You hear noise from the main tunnel up ahead out of the light radius and see a dim light coming from the right.
The first on the left is dark and quiet.
Which way does the party go.
"Follow the rat?" Marley suggests, pointing towards the second tunnel on the left, then draws his sword.
“Follow rat.”
If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.

What will the party do?
"Someone coming behind us," Marley warns in a low voice as he switches to his shortbow.
Crunch drops the Light so that the enemy (hopefully) can’t see them.

“Should we continue to press forward?” Maz asks with his hand hovering over his dagger.
"Don't like being followed," Marley growls, as he looks back towards the bend where the voices are coming from.

Perception: 14
You see a pipe you might beable to squeeze into. Then your eyes drift down to the.... water
"Let's move to the opening up there," Marley suggests in a hushed tone, pointing towards the light ahead.
Sam will look to hide as well.

With a 20 perception. If your going to hide the only viable option is the water. All the infoe pipes are too small for anyone besides Marley
DM: in a holding pattern till yall make a decision on what to do. Say and encounter the 2, run towards the light or hide.
