Gan-Re opens the hole to let anyone out who wants to get out. He then flies a perimeter around the party while they decide on a direction, he stays in the air to avoid walking in the mud and getting his feathers mucky. If the water seems drinkable then he refreshes his water supplies.
Those on the ground encounter sticky mud squelches beneath your feet. Tangled mangroves grow out of pools of rippling water, half hidden by the thick fog, and purple mushrooms cling to rotting logs and stumps scattered throughout the marsh. Crickets that glow like fireflies chirp serenely before they’re snatched out of the air by the tongues of hungry frogs. Coming from one direction are several voices joined in a marching song. The singing grows louder as six bipedal rabbits wearing clothing emerge from the fog. Two of them tug at the reins of a giant snail, and the others carry clubs and slings.
"So, everyone else see tha' flyin' balloon crash? Ah say we head that way ta make sure they're okay."Finley says, before recalling his rope and having it reattach to his belt. He looks around the area to make sure nothing is nearby.

“Bunny brigade is it?” Hisashi jumps down when she climbs a reasonable way down. (Acrobatics for climbing: 8 assuming she struggles and falls at some point) “I agree doe crashing balloon culd be a good start.”
The rabbit folk approach the party weapons drawn and the one in the front raises her hand to signal the others to stop singing. 2 rabbit folk in the back brow beat the giant snail keeping it still. The one in the front introduces herself as Jebbek, and she says to the characters, “This is a robbery. If you resist, we’ll beat you black and blue.”
Gan-Re flies in front of the others in the party, screeching a challenge with shield on one arm and his Javelin glinting in the light "A robbery is it. Then give me something shiny and maybe I won't eat you." His 20 foot wingspan causing small bits of debris to go flying towards the robbers
Some look tense considering whether to flee, but Jebbek stands firm "You must be new to Prismeer for what I seek is not coins or things, but your dreams of your happiest moments. Now you can always dream anew, I just want the best ones. Now will you hand them over or shall we beat it out of you"
Gan-Re flies a little higher to get out of easy reach but stays between the robbers and the rest of the party "Ha. I am not afraid of a little violence and you will find that we can also dish out a beating. If you come to trade something for what is ours then speak up. I will not talk for my companions, but if they take pity on you and give you what you desire to spare you my wrath then so be it. But I will not bow before you out of fear"

After Gan-Re sets Val down, she grimaces as her shoes sink into the mud. If anyone rode in the portable hole, she tries to help them out, taking one end of the rope of climbing over to a tree so that Finley can quickly get it tie itself off. Once he's out of the portable cave, she helps fold it back up into a little handkerchief.
The singing grows louder as six bipedal rabbits wearing clothing emerge from the fog. Two of them tug at the reins of a giant snail, and the others carry clubs and slings.
Gan-Re flies back to the party at a dash and says "Val there is a whole caravan of people coming this way who look like you."
Val nods and waves at Gan-Re to acknowledge what he said. She's very interested to meet more harengon since she has seen very few of them (other than her parents) in Faerun. But once she hears their song, she grows wary.
As Gan-Re tries to scare them off, Val tries to look as grim as possible, but she's much shorter than these other harengon. She casts produce flame and holds it in one hand while she takes out her start chart and holds it in the other. She wants to show them that the group has some power of their own even if the harengon outnumber them.
Some look tense considering whether to flee, but Jebbek stands firm "You must be new to Prismeer for what I seek is not coins or things, but your dreams of your happiest moments. Now you can always dream anew, I just want the best ones. Now will you hand them over or shall we beat it out of you"
Val tries to de-escalate the situation without undermining her friends. She steps forward a little, still holding her flame aloft in one hand to cast light on herself but also to be ready to throw the flame at Jebbek if any of the harengon make an attack. "Hello, Jebbek. My name is Val. We are new to Prismeer, but this is no way to welcome strangers." She tries to infuse that admonition with her most disappointed and disapproving tone. "And I can assure that it's definitely not the way to treat with battle-hardened warriors who are on a quest! But we are in need of information and advice. Let's call it a trade instead of a robbery. Trust me! You really do not want to anger my feathered friend here. Be wise, Jebbek, and bargain with us. Dreams of happy moments for information about Prismeer and advice about the swamp?"
Valrieth glances at the rest of the party to ensure that they're going to be OK with this bargain. That is, why give up her own dream/memory first if Gan-Re is going to fight to the death over it.
(OOC: to be clear, Jebbek wants us to give her one memory of our happiest moment?)
Gan-Re nods in reply to the deal struck by Val “I will trade with you Jebbek, I am not afraid of giving up a dream if it will lead us to the missing child. However I warn you Jebbek I have lived a life of high adventure with true friends and the freedom of the sky, all my dreams are good and you may find choosing just one overwhelms you. Tell me how to find The Alicorn who can lead us to the Hourglass Coven and you can have your dream.”

(OOC: either before the discussion with Jebbek, or maybe after we're done with her, Valrieth does respond to this comment.)
Val says, "Yes, I saw that. It looked like it was crashing out-of-control. We may be able to help, and maybe they know more about this swamp.
"You know, when Gan-Re flew was carrying me down from the causeway, a giant crane looked like he was going to attack us before Gan-Re scared him off. It is lucky to have such a fierce warrior on our side! I wonder whether the giant cranes attack anything that attempts to fly over the swamp, including the balloon. A crane's beak would probably be sharp enough to puncture the balloon."

The water is murky and brackish. It may need some processing before drinking.

Jebbek tilts her head "I suppose a trade can be done, but each of you can only ask one question and not a lengthy one either"
She then approaches Val and takes a glass cork stoppered bottle that has motes of glowing light.
"Are you ready to give your dream to me?" asks Jebbek

Jebbek will take the dream of her choosing, she just wants to know if you will let her as part of a trade
Of course you can describe what that memory is as she plans to take one of your happiest moment.
