Hisashi speaks up listening to the negotiations, 'Take, take from mine. A uh... a memory dat is...Cave life was simple, but joyous. You can have your pick, you can indeed. Da happiest so dat dey can keep dere's mhm." She nods to the group, "My brains not as good as yours, experiences more simple so maybe mine should be the one to give up. I gots no problems with it. None." She smiles stepping forward still a little confused, "How dis work?"
Jebbek brings the glass bottle and uncorks it. There is a pulling sensation and a golden mote leaves Hisashi's body. "This is nice indeed. Now what is your question?" says Jebbek

Valrieth stares wide-eyed as the golden mote drift into the glass bottle. Her blank expression is difficult to read.
If Hisa hesitates, Val suggests in a "stage whisper" to Hisa: "Ask her what she knows about the leaning tower to the east."
"Oh right.. right uhmmm, What do ya know about the tower? Da one dat my friend says leans in da east?" She asks quietly as she sees the mote leave her body with a glimpse of sadness in her eyes, she bites her lip with a quiver as the final words fall.
Jebbek says "The slanting tower has been long abandoned and overgrown. It was well before my time so I doubt you can find anyone who knows whoever built that tower or what happened to them"
She then looks over the party "Now who else is ready to offer their happiest moment?"
Jebbek once more draws out a golden mote out of Gan-re and into her glass bottle
"Indeed there are dangerous beasts in any land and your better protected staying in a group. Of course we know of the hidden paths through this land and no I will not be sharing them with you"says Jebbek
"Alright there are giant cranes who are quite predatory. We used them as a warning sign that something is nearby. That was how we knew your party would be here"says Jebbek
Finley sighs and steps forward to give up his dream. "We need th' info, right?" He loops his thumbs in his belt and looks at the ground, "Ye can 'ave my dream if ye tell us what ye know about th' hags that seem to be running th' place or at least causin' a ruckus around here."His dream is of his very own shop where he makes very sought after armor that is made of a rare ore that only he knows the location of and that he is very rich.

Jebbek repeats her actions and takes a golden mote from Finley
"I know of one hag and she is here in Hither. Her name is Bavlorna Blightstraw and she can be found at the settlement of Downfall far to the North from here. She is the one who made this fetid swamp with her foul magic." says Jebbek
Valrieth steps forward and takes a deep, steadying breath.
Val gives over her memory of the first time she successfully cast Produce Flame, the first cantrip she learned. Val had been accepted by a circle of druids who cared for a sacred grove. She had been there for many months and enjoyed the work, but she hadn't had any success in learning their magic. She wasn't confident in her own potential and was starting to doubt whether she'd ever be more than a novice. She had been going over the lessons, and she finally went off by herself one evening to practice. As she saw the first star appear in the sky in the evening, she thought about how it looked like a tiny spark in the sky, a fire seen from far away. Val finally felt that elemental connection to the spirit of fire. The words and gestures of the spell were no longer just an imitation of her teachers. She could feel how they drew upon that connection and focused the elemental energy. And suddenly, there it was! Cupped in her hands, a small flame, flickering without burning. Val always remembered the mixture of elation and relief and pride she felt. She somehow knew that she was on the right path, and it was the happiest she ever remembered feeling.
Val looks wistfully at the golden mote as it floats into Jebbek's bottle, trying to reassure herself, as Jebbek said, that she can always dream anew. Val looks up at Jebbek and thanks her for keeping her end of the bargain. Then she says, "We have come to Hither on a quest to recover kidnapped children and assist Zybilna in retaking control of Prismeer from the hags. What advice would you give us for crossing this fetid swamp safely and successfully, all the way to Bavlorna Blightstraw's abode in Downfall?"
"Be prepared to get wet. The swamp water haphazardly floods and there is no rhyme or reason when it occurs. I hope each of you knows how to swim. Also I would not recommend flying overly too much as there are dangers in the sky such as the giant cranes. Food and water will be a challenge as almost everything is tainted by the foul swamp."
Jebbek then puts away the bottle.
""Farewell and good luck" says Jebbek as she and her band head deeper into the fog and is soon out of sight. Trying to follow is useless as the band seem to have vanished into thin air
Jebbek shakes her head "I know not what this Alicorn you talk of. Are you sure its here in Hither"
She then turns to Finley "No I want one of your happiest moment. So I won't settle for anything less"

Gan-Re flies forward “If you can tell us about the dangers ahead in this place and how you avoid them. Then you may have your dream”
Gan-Re: Aarakocra Barbarian - The Wild Beyond the Witchlight | DM - Keys of Empire
"Happy moment first then questions. This is how it works. I won't answer questions till then" says Jebbek
“Fine” Gan-Re agrees “However, I has best get my answer or I will create some unhappy memories for you”

Unsurprisingly Gan-Re’s favourite dreams are ones of freedom, flying through the air and catching birds on the wing.
