Assuming Val is agreeable, the two of them will head back that way.
Valrieth agrees and walks/hops along next to Eudith. Before they enter the guild building, Valrieth stops and tugs on Eudith's sleeve to get her to bend or squat lower so that she can whisper: "When we see Mr. Roslof, I'd like to check whether he is spellbound. If I can get some undisturbed peace and quiet, I can perform a ritual that will give me the ability to sense magic for about 10 minutes. While you find out what room Mr. Roslof is in, I could cast that spell, and then we can try to go see him."
Val looks for a spot (Perception18) that's a little out of the way, like a a place to sit that's obscured by a building or bushes or something. Or maybe a spot in a secluded corner inside the guild building. If she can find a spot where she won't be disturbed, she sits down and performs a ritual casting of Detect Magic while Eudith tries to contact Mr. Roslof. Once Val is done, she finds Eudith and says, "I'm ready! Can we see Mr. Roslof now?"
When Val sees Eudith, she can clearly tell that her armor is an abjuration and not physically there. Eudith nods, "Let's go see if he will see us again."
Eudith explains they will be leaving soon and when she learns that they won't have trouble finding it due to its size she thanks the man and Val and her return to the table where they are meeting the others.

"I didn't realize...you don't wear magical armor. Your armor itself is magic! Have you always been able to do that?"
Eudith shakes her head. "No; I don't think so, at least... One night, it seems, I just... Knew how to do it, and did it. It was very strange. It was during a waxing crescent as well, if I recall correctly, the night before I was to set off into the wider world as part of my training. It's a gift from Selune, clearly, though I don't know what I did to deserve. I try to live up to the honor bestowed by her upon me, but I fear I am often unworthy of such a blessing." The knight-in-training looks down, as if talking about it has brought to mind all of her recent failings to live up to the full measure of devotion.
Abby comes back, laughing at a bad joke she told to Hishasi. “That’s not a rat, that’s my sister!” She giggles to herself, and looks at the Kobold as she repeats it and swings the door open. “That’s his sister!”

Val's small hand reaches out and grasps yours. "I do not plant an acorn because the little seed has done great things. Imagine that! No, I plant an acorn in the hope that it may one day become a mighty oak tree. Do not dwell on what you did to deserve this gift, but take strength in the thought that Selune looked into your heart and saw what good you would do with such a gift!" You feel her squeeze your hand and then let go.
“I’m ready!” Abby smiles but then looks at the food they ordered, sitting there, probably cold. She bursts out laughing. “We forgot our food!”
By the time the others arrive, Eudith and Val are seated and waiting. You see that Eudith has a new canvas bundle (the 2-person tent) with her gear. Val sits at the same table, completely absorbed in studying her old notes and charts and making a new entry in her new journal.
You all got what you need? It took a while for Pom to get back but when she does she carries a bag over her shoulder and her former shoes are replaced by sturdier boots
Once the party is done with their errands the party sets out and heads into the Misty Forest to the East of Liam's Hold. The forest lives up to its name with drifting mists that seem like roving clouds on the ground. The journey was uneventful and soon the party hears music and sees balloons floating in the sky that soon burst into fireworks. A few more steps and the party sees the large Witchlight Carnival stretched out before the party. Even the trees have changed around the carnival to vibrant pinks and other pastel colors.
Above your heads you see flying coaches that head deeper into the carnival
In front there is a tabaxi with multi-colored stripes manning a ticket booth.
Absinthe looks absolutely awestruck as she takes everything in. She starts rushing to the ticket booth - grabbing the hands of both Pom and Hisashi. “Ooooo, come on!”
"Dats... dis is so colorful! Good choice coming here, it was." Hisashi tries to keep up towards the ticket booth being simultaneously overwhelmed and yet cautious and weary she tries to scan her surroundings as best as possible as they head in.
Valrieth follows the others quietly, sticking close to Eudith. Her ears are both swiveled toward the front, and her nose wiggles as she takes in the scents.

Madryck does open the door and no he is not spellbound. He looks to Eudith "Have you not left yet?"
(OOC the carnival is massive. Similar to disneyland. Hard to miss)

(OOC: thanks! Recalibrating. Val was thinking that it was more like a dozen wagons with some performers.)
While the group gathers, Val finds a seat and busily pours over some of her old notes and charts, folding them carefully into her new journal.

"This must be it," Eudith says, as if there might have been doubt. "We should get tickets, I suppose?"

The party eventually make it to the ticket booth and the Tabaxi gives everyone a big smile. "How many tickets do you need?"
