The chill wind seemed localised. It was only there for a couple of seconds, and the trees' branches didn't seem to sway at all.

Sim jerked as sensation came back to his limbs. He panted out his breaths as he spoke to the others. 

 "This place is cursed. A voice spoke to me. The trees are spirits of the dead. This place is a graveyard. It called this place a tower. I think... I think the spirits are trapped here." 

Sim edged his way further from the tree and sat down, exhausted.  

"If what you say is true, let's all pull anchor and make our way towards that clearing"  Killian offers Sim the bread from his pouch. "Sim, it isn't much, but here's some food Rumble prepared." Killian making a quick head count realizing Dark is not with the group. "Did anyone see where Dark headed off to?" Shaking his head, If people start wandering off all the time we may not get very far, we cant keep wasting time looking for each other. He thinks to himself.

Too busy fussing over the dwarf, Rumble refrains from commenting until Slim is fully alert again. He lets go once its clear the monk could stand on his own, but stayed close all the same in readiness to catch him. "Eh? O-Oh! You mean the birdman? Huh... Now that ya mentioned it..." Squinty-eyed, Rumble begins looking around the area. "Could'a sworn.... You'd think he'd beat us here." He states with an air of feigned non-chalance. "Think we aught'a call out for'em? Much as I hate the idea of disturb'n more of dearly departed, we can't very well leave'm... and, uhm, remind meee -- where's this clear'n supposed to be?"

The group doesn't seem to know where Darkwing currently is. As Rumble has mentioned, it feels like a maze in here, with all the trees seemingly familiar and spaced apart almost perfectly.

(Should you wish to find your way back towards the clearing, I would like someone to make a Survival roll. If someone wants to help with the tracking, they can help their lead)

Darkwing feels himself lose control of his body, becoming paralyzed, as he plummets to the ground, his wings no longer keeping him aloft. He takes 10 bludgeoning damage as he falls to the ground. He falls unconscious...

Orianna will Help anyone who decided to look for the clearing. 

Killian will search for the direction of the clearing and the pillar with Orianna's help

It takes a little longer than expected, but the group seems to make it back to where they had set up camp for their previous rest. They can see the glimmer of light from before, but it seemingly goes out after another moment.

Mara will look at the rest of them once they return to the makeshift camp they had set up. It does not take long to notice that one of them is nowhere to be seen. "Should we we wait for Dark to return or shall we move on and wait for him to catch up with us along the way. It has been sometime since he went off on his own so it is easy to assume that he may have come across trouble."

" I say we all stick together from here on out. We will look for him as we move on, safety in numbers nothing ever good came from traveling alone, in my experience"  Killian said in agreement with Mara. Waiting to hear if anyone has anything to add. 

Sim nodded at that statement as enthusiastically as he could in his tired state, still eating the piece of bread given to him. 

There is no way I'm leaving on my own again, that's for sure.

If people are keeping a look-out for Darkwing, please could they make a Perception check.

Simmeat, despite his exhaustion, was worried about Dark. He didn't want anyone else to suffer as he had and kept an eye out for their flying companion.

"Y-yea... Agreed." Rumble states nervously, still kicking himself for letting Simmeat walk off on his own. He too would keep an eye out as well, though opted more to divide his attention between the sky and the ground. After all, it wasn't as if Dark didn't get tired of flying every now and the.

Mara will look with Rumble and Simmeat, hoping to find their winged companion before anything bad happens to him. The last thing they needed was to lose track of some one thar had proved their use.

Orianna follows the group covering the rear. Seeing the other look for Darkwing she will not. Instead she will keep watching the back making sure nothing creeps on them.

Killian will fall in line towards the front of the group but let who ever has dark vision in front of him. scanning the area for Dark looking in the trees and along the ground as best he could.
