"Never again." Rumble had repeated to Killian with a strained grin. After he moved on to take up the front before Mara got too far ahead, assuming she got ahead to begin with. As he went along, overhearing the conversation about Anghrarradh prompts a thoughtful look out of the Earth Genasi. Then, his upset system pulls him right back to the present. "Crudy worms." He complains under his breath.

The group continues to climb over the drops and craggy ground around them, the sun blazing overhead mercilessly. The pace seems to slow a little due to the heat causing people to sweat, the Gretta and Hallens seeming to struggle somewhat to keep up while carrying the load. However, the group is only a short walk to the large stone walls of this apparent city. As they approach they can see that upon the ramparts a series of what appear to be figures garbed head to toe in white cloth, with only the slightest opening by their eyes. It is difficult from this distance to determine their race, but they appear to be quite tall and slender; each armed with a bone-bladed polearm and what appears to be a longbow.
Seeing the armed figures on the well, Mara pauses and turns to look back at the rest of the group. She will make sure that she does not do anytbing that would seem threatening to those on the wall. " I know this should go without me having to say anything but weshould approach the walls with caution. We do not know how often these people receive guest or if they will be able to understand us."
Dark says " maybe we should set up our temporary camp and refresh ourselves. That will give them time to maybe send someone out to talk to us. Either way we do not look like we are ready to fight if attacked." Using his wings Dark attempts to create a small breeze on the group especially Hallens and Gretta.

"Sure as heck hope so." Is Rumble's only reply to Thursday. Later, Rumble found himself unable to stop staring up at the figures by the ramparts. But he listens, and occasional gives a subtle nod in agreement to a point. "Mister Killian does bring up some pretty good points. We just take it easy. Though think one of you full blood humans take point on negotiations here. Or Mister Leo, if'n yer up for it."

"We do not know if they are even human Rumble. It is best not to make any assumptions until we know what we are dealing with here." Mara days as she steps towatds the wall once someone else in the party does or someone from the city approaches.
"Huh? Oh no, it ain't had nothing to do with that. Those guards ain't human, that's fer sure. It just that you full blooded folk have a knack fer negotiations is all. Generally speaking, anyhow. Though if they turn out to be like me, or to be beastfolk in general, I can probably step up again... assuming that's alright with folk." Rumble says as he turns back to the elven children. "Now you two take it easy for a bit. Let 'ol Uncle Rumble handle that. 'least fer a bit."He offers Gretta and Hallens. Once it is hopefully in hand, Rumble follows Mara and the rest.

Leojym clutches his stomach a bit. "I am afraid I am not feeling up for much currently. I agree with Killian that we should present a united front. Even if we mean no trouble, we do not want to appear weak or become exploited. Thursday, you look very presentable. I would not mind your representation of the groups interest."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
In elven killian speaks to the two elves, "ya know if you need water ya gotta speak up." Killian holds out the water skin for them to drink while they sit. "Dont be stubborn, you'll end up dead, I've told you before to trust us in getting you out of here." After that he turns to the group, "Thursday, you look great. You wanna take a stroll over there with? The rest of you keep an eye out incase they are hostile. No weapons out." Killian drops the hood of the poncho and starts to walk towards the wall. Staff in hand but using it as a walking stick trying to look the least threatening as possible. Looking for a door way or some point of entrance along the rampart to approach.
Thursday thanks everyone knowing that she must look far from her best.
“Yeah Killian, Let’s hope these guards take a liking to us.” And she walks in tandem with him toward the city and since they are a little ahead of the group she takes the time to ask, quietly so no one would hear, “so what’s the deal with the twins?”

Rumble kept quiet, having only smiled and looked away soon after when it came to Thursday. He also changed his mind, and volunteered to stick by the twins while the others approached. If that meant hanging back then so be it. If not, he is close at hand to at least keep an eye on them while taking care of the chest for a while.

Mara will follow with the rest of them, choosinf to keep her head lowered some what ao that none of the guards would see the strange color of her eyes. "Let them approach us first. If they speak then we should listen."
(So the group has split slightly into two, one which stays behind the current cover and those approaching the walls.)
Approaching the Walls
The group heads forward, led by Thursday, towards the large stone walls. As the group gets within about 500 feet of the walls, the figures on the wall seem to react almost in unison. Their bows are raised with an arrow notched, trained on the group that steps forward. They do not fire, but the threat of a long range artillary is there. A voice calls out over the low background noise of the potential city beyond the walls. "Outsiders! State you reason for approaching our sacred home!" The voice calls out, which sounds like a slightly hoarse man's tone.
Behind the Cover
The twins seem thankful that Killian offered them a drink, taking a quick but shallow gulp. They give the waterskin back to Killian before he leaves. Though they are probably the best armoured at this point, they seem to not be fairing well from the sudden change in climate from what they are used to, their fair skin showing the first signs of sunburn.
Killian stops walking and raises his hands slightly in a nonoffensive manner and responds to the voice - "We are merely lost travelers seeking some shelter and trade. we don't want to disrespect your home."
