"How far up does the hole extend?" Shaiere asks the woman, as he looks up the shaft... "I might be able to run up it if not too far up..."
(OOC : I am assuming the pink area on the map represents the hole she fell down from, correct? I have unarmored movement that allows me to run on liquid and up vertical walls and I have mobility feat, so difficult terrain wouldn't slow me down, I'd be able to move 110' straight up before having to grab onto something. I could throw down a rope if someone has one and the spell caster wouldn't have to waste a fly spell )

Actually, that's the red goo.

The woman guesses it was a 60ft fall, but she doesn't sound very confident.
Do you want to try running up the vertical walls of the hole in the ceiling?
It is an option. If some has a hammer and a piton or spike I could take up a couple of 50 foot ropes. I have a rope but none of the other equipment. Else I could just run along the wall to the other side of the pit to set up the spike rope to help the others across the pit so we could head east. Up to the group
Wait, why would we go up the wall if we need to get across the hole in the floor? The goal was to get on the other side, not the rooftop of the temple, no?
"Flying us over the gap would be great. We all have ropes, so, the first one on the other side can secure the others. Or, maybe, the swing? You stay high up with the rope and we all swing on the other side one by one?"
“I do see what you are saying: we could act as a pendulum and each swing across the gap in turn. Perhaps the strongest of us could hold the rope secure at the top. I fear leaving that member behind, though. Unless someone has another idea.”
Ven backs up away from the hole and tries a jump to test how far the wind will take them in its own.

<just saw this post> with a Str score of 8. You can clear an 8ft jump with a running start. Thus lands you right in the precipice.
However, you don't fall. Instead, you land on firm ground, not unlike the precious room, although it does very much appear that you are standing over a large hole.
"Wait, a 20 ft gap? I can clear that no problem." Kandalou, missing that we've determined the gap was an illusion, does a running long jump and clears the gap.

Directly conjoined to the hallway, this chamber is twenty-five feet wide by forty-feet long.
A large vat of bubbling wax that is kept constantly hot by a magic flame beneath it, is on the far side of the chamber from the hallway. The vat is constructed of porcelain and inlaid with silver tracery around the edges.
Long strips of ragged and aged cloth hang from a pair of steel bars over the vat, where they are tied on to keep them from blowing away in the wind.
A sizeable collection of pumice stones, some of them covered with dried brown flecks, rest within large metal bowls next to the porcelain vat.
The armored woman follows the last of the rrakma into the room.
"I can try to fly us, but I'm wary of the wind"
Nope. Sand mixed with crumbly pumice dances in the wind upon the floor.

(Not attempting to jump over, just a vertical jump)
Incidentally, the ceiling of the room you are in is 20ft high.
@everyone, please make a DC10 Wis save or take a level of exhaustion.
