Kres heads over to the cage, holding out one of his clawed fingers. With some fiddling around, and a tight bit of twisting there is a *click* as the door to the two women opens.
Chad will go over to the pile of clothing that was in the corner of the room. After going through the clothing, Chad will bring some of the clothing over to the woman for them to wear. "Do you know a way out of here? This place is giving chills."
The woman seems to back away from the clothing. "They were from others that were here." She says. "At least, that's what they said." She gestures to the dead and unconscious ruffians. She then gives the younger woman a hug before looking to the lone boy in the cell on the other side of the door. "Please, can you free my son, too?" She begs to the party. "I have nothing that I can give you, but I know where you can get a reward."
While the others free the prisoners and talk with them, Randaler goes back to the door to the sarcophagus room and peers out looking for any reinforcements.
Randaler checks outside but it looks like the noise didn't travel far enough to rally any reinforcements at the moment.
(We can assume that Kres will take a moment to unlock the other cage)
The second door open and the mother rushes over to the boy. "Oh, my sweet baby." She says, tears down her cheeks. The boy seems like he would normally be repelled by the motherly love (being around the pre-teen to early teen age), but the ordeal has made him more appreciative.
Upon Chad's enquiry about a reward. "Well, I don't have it, but it is something of a family belonging. We came from Thundertree, a village not far from here. We had to leave when undead attacked, but our alchemy shop had a secret compartment under one of the storage shelves. There's an emerald necklace underneath there; no one would know it was there."
The younger woman joins in the group hug. "Ma, we should get out of here." She says quietly to the other two, then looks to Chad. "Their leader, some wizard guy, has these big furry guys with big ears take pa away."
"Agreed, let us quickly escort them back to the cellar for their safety." Randalr nods to Koko. "We will then return to continue what we started here." He then leads the way looking for any new dangers.
The group escorts the trio back towards the exit, the mother doting carefully over her children. With some effort the pit is traversed and the family is now taken to the entrance. "Bless you." The mother says wholeheartedly. "And please, find my husband..."
The group can return to where they were, taking that extra minute to carefully climb down and out of the pit and arrive back where the skeletons were.
When the group arrives back in the basement, Randaler wishes the woman and her children safe passage back into town. He then turns back to to the party. "Before we head back, I want to check out the wall to the left of the cistern. I noticed something strange about it when we were here earlier." He then moves over to the wall to check on it further.
Chad will make his way over to where Randaler is looking at the wall. "Probably something magical. Make room, good sir." Chad removes his quarterstaff and starts to poke at the wall with the end of it.
The group begins to investigate the suspicious wall they saw earlier. To their surprise, it appears to just be a facade as when Chad presses on the wall with his quarterstaff, it begins to swing open, like a door. When pushed properly open, it reveals that there is a passageway that leads further into the dark underground area, turning right into an unknown passage.

Randaler looks a bit sheepishly at Chad, and kicks some loose stones at his feet. "Well, at least I noticed something about it didn't seem right." he says mostly under his breath. Looking down the newly discovered corridor, he says in a normal tone. "I'll take the lead." as he slowly and quietly makes his way down the hallway alert for any dangers, daggers in each hand.
Randaler scouts ahead, keeping an eye out. The group will mainly have to rely on torchlight as they progress. Going around the bend the carved stone corridor appears to abruptly change to a more natural cavern environment. A cold breeze fills this large natural cavern, carrying with it the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched wooden bridges span the chasm.

Chad will drop the clothing on the floor. Chad asks here where this reward is while gesturing toward Kres to free the boy.

"This way still looks clear." Randaler says to the group. "Let us send these three back to safety as we press forward to end this scourge."

Koko ask's " are we all going to take then back to safety or will some of us stay here and press on?"

If the group wishes to escort the trio out of the area, they can lead them all the way back to the stairs that led into the cellar safely.

"Like I said a magic door." I give a smirk to Randaler. I keep my quarterstaff out just in case. Chad has a bad feeling about this.

OOC: Nope, just letting you know it isn't a lit corridor. It carries on for about 30-40 feet before turning to the right.

As Chad enters the cavern, he will go to the ledge by the bridge, looking over the side. Chad will also inspect the bridge for structural soundness.
