Maple responds to Gryffon's question by saying "These people have come to rescue all of us captives, come on!".
But Gryffon is hesitant to leave "Kazmojen ttreats me pretty good. If I try to escape and we fail, I might not be in his good graces anymore. Do you have a no-fail plan to escape?"
We will either rescue the children or all die trying. That's as fool proof as I can promise. Do as you wish but we are moving on. If you want to hide out until this is all over and make your own decision then thats up to you. But id you don't know how to get out and don't follow us your on your own.
Shadow then turns and leaves the room to check the pantry before moving on.

Gryffon is not impressed with your argument and says "If you die trying I would probably die with you. You can always come get my if you succeed."
Leaving him alone in the kitchen, Shadow leads the party to the pantry. Opening the pantry door you see stone shelves full of jugs, pots, casks, and sacks all full of varies food items. The whole room smells exotic.
Oreus asks the others to stop once outside the kitchen:
Shadow, are you sure to let the cook just like this?! If he has a bell or yells or knows some secret passage?! If he wants to stay, he must accept to be tied and gagged, I say!
Oreus is taken by surprise, although good old Shadow meant no offence
You call me Villian?! that cook plainly said he does not complain being here, why shouldn't he help them? I just say to tie him up just for the time of the battle to refrain him from doing anything stupid...
But in the end, considering what Shadow may be through a lot with these stories of abducted children, he let it be...in a more conciliatory tone
Anyway, Shadow, I know what you mean, let's leave him there...let's move on
Just thinking
that little cook is better not to do anything foolish...or he will regret it
Before Shadow moves to open the western door Fario suggests that he and Maple switch positions.
Shadow opens the door to reveal...
Four malachite pillars support the twenty-foot-high ceiling of this grand chamber. Hanging from an iron brace mounted near the top of each pillar is a cylindrical iron cage containing a giant beetle that sheds an infernal orange light. The southern half of the chamber rises five feet, and a wide black staircase leads up to the raised floor. Just past the top of the stairs, an eight-foot-tall iron post erupts from the floor. Iron shackles hang from the top of the post. Three children are shackled to the iron post. Five narrow windows carved into the south wall stand open to the darkness beyond. A 5-foot-tall muscular figure clad in black plate armor (Black K) stands on the staircase, his face hidden beneath a visor. In one gauntlet, he clutches a wicked Dwarven Urgrosh. In the other, he grasps a chain ending in an iron ring clamped around human boy's neck (T). He is haggling with an ash-skinned dwarf with sharply pointed esrs and yellow eyes (Purple P). The dwarf wears robes encrusted with mold, and he holds a bone box. Crouched ar the top of the stairs is some sort of beast (Peach H) apparently guarding the three children.
As the door opens you can hear Kazmojen (the black armored figure) says "At 30 gold pieces, this one is a bargain Pyllrak, and it will finish out the set." He nods to the other three children. As the door opens to reveal Shadow he adds in a more annoyed tone of voice. "Aw look the Intruders have arrived, perhaps they will pay more for the runt".
Kazmojen replies to Shadow "Those three back there have already been sold to Pyllrek here. I have never go back on my word. I sold each of them for fifty gold pieces, so how about one hundred and sixty gold pieces for this one. As you are willing to pay double." The last two sentences his voice is dripping with sarcasm and venom, and maybe a hint of greed as well.
Kazmojen replies to Oreus "He's worth whatever the costumer thinks he's worth. Your friend there said he would pay double for the lot. Well those three are sold, but maybe he is still worth double"
Pyllrak nods in Oreus' direction.
Then Shadow agrees to pay the 160 Gp
Kazmojen's voice changes to delight as he says "Sold to the teifling"
Pyllrak responds to Shadow's question by saying "while I have dwarfism blood in my vains, I am a durzagon. I have traveled many days the purchase these body slaves. You will have to compensate me for both the time and money I have spent. How about 450 gold pieces or it's equivalent in magical items, for the lot.
ooc: form your description, I'd assume we are now IN the room, if we exchanged money with them, aren't we?
Yes anyone who wants to can be in the room, Fellian is going to stay with the rescued slaves out of view of Kazmojen, unless fighting breaks.
And you haven't actually handled the money over yet, Shadow has just agreed to pay the money. Technically I should have finished the transaction with Kazmojen first before switching to Pyllrak. But because Shadow addressed both in at the same time, I did likewise.

We are not the Villians here, and if we tie him up we are no better than his captors, we have to give people a chance.

Ooc: being Oreus from Caldera city, does the dwarf name or his robe tell me anything?
No one has heard of Pllrek including Rellahne who is from a noble family.

Oreus steps into the room, with clear voice
"what is so special about that one for such a price?"
And then to the dwarf
"mister pyllrek, do you mind if we have a word once our transaction is complete?"
Fine 160. And will you dwarf be willing to part with your lot as well?
