Whether the group fights or not, Rellahne doesn't have an instant impulse and will go with what the party decides, but that's because she's trying to determine where that familiar face came from.
(Any kind of check? I can make an intelligence check, and then have the correct proficiency, if appliable added later.)

It's not her face (which is veiled and therefore counseled) by how she moves. It is a subtle graceful moment that you are sure you've seen before. Possibly at a party.
(I'm not going to give you more at this time, but if/when you meet her again without the veil, I will let you know.)
Shadow intercepts the veiled woman from reading a scroll (I had to change it slightly due to her not having two seventh level spell slots to cast teleport twice. She does have a couple of 7th level scrolls on her.) by casting his own spell like ability.
Wisdom save 14
While Shadow's spell doesn't effect her, the Beholder lifts a tentacle in a wait motion and says "This is getting bothersome, subdue them."

I'll give you this as a free action (or rather part of what you did last action).
Oreus knows that beholds have many eyes and that each eye can focus a magical ray. As an action the Beholder can shoot three different rays at one to three targets. The rays have a gambit of abilities from non-lethal to deadly. He also knows that the central eye creates an area of antimagic, as in the antimagic field spell, in a 150-foot-cone. At the start of each of its turns, the beholder decides which way the cone faces and whether the cone is active. The area works against the beholder's own eye rays. On top of all this he knows that beholds are resistant to non-magical weapons.
ooc: I fear this is a battle we cannot win, fortunately Shadow's spell, even if it works, will do something not really aggressive.
Let's see how they act but, if it was me, I'd say the beholder gets away with the kid, once he disappears, we killed the slavers and save at least the other four poor kids...
OOC: I also see no reason to believe we're gonna defeat any Beholders at this level by ourselves. I'd say it's almost dumb to believe so. Which is why any option that factors trying to engage the Beholder into the fight and put it against us directly sounds like a bad plan.

(Yes both the Beholder and the Women are currently beyond your ability to defeat them. The adventure takes this into account. If you attack them now they do there best to subdue the party rather than wipe you out. I believe that you will encounter them or their handy work a couple more time before you actually take them down in chapter 8 give or take a chapter. The party is just about finished with chapter 1.)
Ooc: I know it was maybe suicide but shadow was committed and did not want to lose that boy, he used the non lethal or damaging spell to try and not incite a riot but knowing that might have been futile. He can get a little single minded on his tasks and is a little mad at his deal being ignored.

OOC: Completely fair to act in-character in a way that's risky and non-optimal. You've done nothing wrong, there just needs to be a compromise on how risky can we go. I just wanted to point out that I share more or less the same opinion as dndpro.
Zarkad takes out his Longsword and is Ready to defend himself or move to assist Kazmojen.
The Beholder flys straight up about 5 above Kazmojen and his veiled friend, so he has line of sight. He casts three rays, each one targets a person in the party. Shadow, Oreus, and Tyris all need to make DC 16 Wisdom saves or fall asleep and remain unconscious for 1 minute. The target awakens if it takes damage or another creature takes an action to wake it.
The beast snarls and makes a low pitched howl, but he waits for Kazmojen's command before doing anything else.
Assume that either or both of you make your saves Shadow and Tyris are up
No, you haven't seen her before
Rellahne you think there is something familiar about her, but with the veil you can't quite place her.
Waiting for Rellahne, Shadow and Tyris
