Oreus you no longer have advantage unless someone grabs the rope to help you. For every 2 points about 12 you pull him a feet higher. For every 2 points below 12 he drops a foot. 

Alben you can make a Str check the try to climb the rope

If things are not resolved by his turn Laladak will grab the rope and pull up Alben

Alben doesn't have the arm strength to pull himself up the rope.

Shadow grabs the rope and helps pull 18

Shadow helps Oreus pull Alben up, pulling him 3 feet closer to the lip of the trap. (He only has 2 more feet to go!).

Shadow and Oreus work together, but don't quite succeed in pulling Alben out of the pit before the pit doors shut. 

When the trap door closes on the rope Alben loses his grip on the it, but because it's tied around his waist he doesn't fall into the  pit. He is hanging from the waist facing down. He sees with his dark vision that 18 feet down there is a box with spikes on the wall that suddenly slams down to the south, revealing gears. 

To those of you who are up top the floor springs shut trapping the rope in place. 

Everyone can now act.

"Well... Shit..." Alben looks around for a way out besides the door above, or some way to disable the trap that will allow the trap door to still open.

Perception: 5

Alben instead decides that traps are hard. Alben bangs on the trap door "If you all have time, i would appreciate you getting me the hell out of here!!"

"Sorry, we're too busy right now!" Tyris yells back.  Then he looks to the others.  "Think we can spring it again to open it up and get him out without someone just walking out there?"

The rest of you see if you can push the doors open while Oreus and I hold him in place

Fortunately you don't see anything else, but the thought of something lurking down there is enough to almost drive you mad.
