Violet sighs at Garmuk's outburst. She's starting to understand why most beholders are such xenophobic nutjobs... it really feels like most other lifeforms are idiots. Oh well, she has a job to do and a lizard to flatter.
"Thank you for the honor of an audience, Your Eminence,"Violet says, bowing briefly to the lizard. "I am the beholderkin Violet... My companions and I have been sent here as ambassadors from Port Nazaru, hoping to win an alliance with the Scaled Guard against the dark forces of Tiamat that have ravaged this land."
(Um... how much authority were we actually given to make this deal, and were we given any guidelines on what we can and can't promise to the Scaled Guard?)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
(Um... how much authority were we actually given to make this deal, and were we given any guidelines on what we can and can't promise to the Scaled Guard?)
(You probably have a decent amount you can’t say agree the terms on the spot it will be sort of set a date and have the two character interact)
Violet considers the question... not quite sure how to respond. They've already destroyed a Tiamat camp and fought in a gladiatorial ring to entertain these blasted lizards. What more will the Primus Eternal demand from them at this point.
"Your Grace," she says, doing her best not to let her impatience show. "We have utterly destroyed a camp of Tiamat's supporters, and we have fought in this game for your entertainment. What the people of Port Nazaru desire is a mutually beneficial alliance to defeat a dangerous foe instead of fighting amongst ourselves while Tiamat's forces grow stronger. What we need is a non-aggression treaty between the parties, and, if you are so inclined, a mutual agreement to come to each others' aid in the event of an attack. If an additional service is needed to seal this treaty, then I am sure we can make it happen, within reason."
Two of her eyes glance at her companions on either side, silently asking for them to back her up.
"What she says is true and fair. We seek to develop an alliance; a treaty; a mutual agreement between yourself and the people of Port Nazaru. We are dedicated to this cause." Xis says as best he can.
You see the eternal strongly looking at everyone in the room “hmm very well then, I will not comment any of my force to attack the port neither will they engage their troops” he takes off his coat you can see his scales are a blues and some light greens his amour you see has almost a leaviathen like serpent around his armour with runes doted around and a shortsword around his hip “but I may remind you war camps are not difficult to take the forces of the dragon queen can rebuild them with in days the other members of the counsel are leading their legions with some what of a successful push” he pause thinking “ the terms are done, but if you want to be useful to the guard their a task I can send you on if you choose”
“Their is a tower about 3 days travel from here know as the first spire it’s a forward base for the dragon queens forces I need you lot to destroy the tower or destroy the summons stone inside”
Xis just looks down embarrassed

Xis bows and says "Thank you." Looking back he adds "Yes, please tell us about the task."

Is Xis speaking for the entire group here or do you lot want to collaborate about the proposal
(in game - Xis would be mostly speaking for himself. OOC - I just want to keep things moving along :-) )
D&D since 1984
Xis turns to the group. "What do you all think?"

OOC: it was good no issues from me to use what was presented.
Garmuk: "Yes please tell us of this task so we may rid this jungle of evil in the most effective manner"
“Their is a tower about 3 days travel from here know as the first spire it’s a forward base for the dragon queens forces I need you lot to destroy the tower or destroy the summons stone inside”
Still turned to the group, "What do you all think?"
D&D since 1984
Violet nods.
"I'm sure we can do that," she says. "We should probably take a night to rest first, though."
