"Well, while we wait...did anyone happen to see where our enigmatic fifth wandered off to? I saw him spending some time outside as we made our way in. Did he ever enter the museum himself?"
Joorin takes in the cafe area for a moment and then tugs on Windare's sleeve, whispering to her, "You know what, on second thought maybe the coffee shop on the second floor of the place we are planning to rob is not the best place to plan that robbery. Anybody could overhear after all." He tilts his head up in the direction of the bored looking guard in the cafe area, trying to be nonchalant about it and not draw attention. "Maybe we should all adjourn back to the Sage's Quill, or perhaps the Fuzzy Fly, for a more private pow-wow?"

Windarë also gives Luci a nod as he goes back to meet the curator. She looks around at those gathered here after Joorin's comment. "I've not seen Dubh. But yes, we drop in the Sage's Quill. I suppose I could wait for Luci."
Luci will find Alda at her desk continuing with her paper work. She barely looks up as he announces himself. “Oh, you’re back, Mr…?” As he enters she closes the ledger she is writing in and pulls a different record book from her desk and opens it to a blank page, preparing to take notes. “Now, what was it you wanted? Information about our exhibits, was it? And I recall something about a donation,” she asks.
"...so I was able to knock out the guard, and stck her in one of the crates," Dubh explains, getting a bit vague at this point. "I'm sure she won't be waking up til long after we're done..."
"We do have a guard uniform if we think it'll be handy. And a way into the museum without needing tickets or, even, it to be open. We could just wait for the ball to be open then sneak up there after it is closed."
(Is Dubh able to get a short rest in waiting for the rest to find him at the Quill? If so he will use his Hit Die to recover some HP...)
Luci takes a relaxed seat opposite the curate at her desk and leans back in the chair, one leg over the other. "Yes Ms. Arkin, rest assured there is certainly a potential and signficant donation coming your way, assuming the report I will leave will satisfy my client's curiosity and interest for your esteemed institution. You can start by telling me about this Murkmire excavation and what you found there." He says with a confident smile.
“Many of our exhibits have been excavated from the Murkmire,” Alda replies. “It is a wealth of archeological artifacts. Our most recent discovery was a large green stone resembling jade that we’ve taken to calling the Murkmire Stone. Not a lot is known about it to be honest. The gala this evening is to celebrate the opening of our new exhibit, but our research into the origins of the Murkmire Story will continue for many years in partnership with the Varkenbluff University.”
"Intriguing, quite intriguing Ms. Arkin, and can you show me this Murkmire Stone then perhaps? Just a brief look so that I can report to my client." Luci says with a polite smile.

Alda places her quill down onto the still blank page of the ledger open in front of her. She leans back in her chair and interlaces her fingers, “I’m still waiting to hear your good name, Sir. And that of your client. Surely there is no reason to keep such things a secret.”

”In any event, the Murkmire Stone exhibit is still being prepared at this time. Mrs. Glimmerhome informed me that you were a gala attendee. In that case you can view the exhibit during tonight’s festivities.”
"Well apologies, you almost seemed to know who I was when I arrived. My name is Lucifer Morningstar, the name of my client will however have to stay undisclosed at present time. While some patrons of the arts would flaunt their names to garner popularity, my client prefers anonymity in order to avoid people turning up at their literal doorstep for donations, I'm sure you understand Ms. Arkin. You would of course know their name once they decide to support your institution." Luci politely explains. "So am I to understand this Murkmire Stone will be at display this evening then?"
“Indeed,” replies the curator, “the gala will give our VIP guests such as yourself the opportunity for a sneak peak at the Murkmire Stone before the exhibit opens to the public tomorrow.”
"Excellent, so this sneak peek, where and when would it take place then exactly? I wouldn't want to miss it by indulging to deeply in the other beautiful treasures your museum has on display." Luci asks with a charming smile.

Dubh Deception: 11
Short rest taken, hit die used to reclaim 9 hit points...
No matter how the roll turns out, it shouldn't be hard for anyone who thinks on it a bit to see that Dubh's story seems a bit suspicious. How can he be so sure the guard he says he knocked out won't awaken until after the gala and the robbery? The thought that perhaps he killed someone shouldn't be too far from anyone's thought listening to the story... Whether they want to confront him about it or not though is up to them.
As everyone else disperses from the museum, Windarë slowly heads downstairs and starts to browse the gift shops. She mainly keeps an eye out for Luci as she slowly goes through the various items for sale.
The curator continues to lean back in her chair and appears unimpressed, “The gala is from six to eight this evening in the Gemstone Wing.” “As much as I am enjoying this conversation,” she says sarcastically, “I really am quite busy and all of these questions can be answered by the receptionist in the Grand Entrance hall. Is there anything else you, or more importantly your client, needed from me?”

Joorin nods to Luci as he heads back downstairs.

Parr cocked her head not looking at the others, she gave a slight nod that she hoped would go unnoticed by any observers.
She sipped her tea as the others left, only moving away from her table a full fifteen minutes after they had departed.
The receptionist would be able to tell Luci that Alda is still in her office.
The others head back to the Sage’s Quill to find Dubh looking a little bruised up.

She loves her new family......not 100% on trusting them just yet.

( Though with a 7...she likely believes him completely. :D )
