[[I want to check in, I'm intending on speeding up the pace as we've now lost a player over slow progress complaints. I'm going to try to increase my posting rate as I know it has been abysmal. I will also be railroading certain things a little bit to avoid bog downs. Please respond to this post when you see it, preferably with an IC post, but just an OOC "sill here" post would be helpful.]]
Following your shopping excursions, you all meet up and enter the Brass Crab. The Brass Crab is a modest single-story inn on the village wharf, and its exterior vaguely resembles its namesake. One wall of the circular common room features a faded mural of two enormous crabs locked in combat, inlaid with brass details.
Upon entering the common room, a middle-aged woman dressed in the full plate of the Knights of Solamnia rises from the bar where she was speaking with the barkeep.
"Greetings travelers, I think I recognize a few of you from Ispin's descriptions. I'm Becklin Uth Viharin, castellan of Thornwall Keep here in Vogler and an old friend to Ispin. It was I that invited you and others to the service, which will be a celebrations of his life and stories, and you are encouraged to share your own stories of him if you wish. Yalme here has rooms for you all, and the service will begin just before sunset."

Becklin says, "Please gather at the dock behind the Brass Crab at sunset for the funeral." With that said, she departs.
You have a few hours, does anyone want to do anything in the interim?
[[I'm worried we may have lost @EMIW as well. If that is the case do you want me to whip up a sidekick/NPC to bulk you up, or do you want to play with 3?]]

The funeral takes place at dusk on the stage and dock extending from the rear of the Brass Crab. Becklin encourages you to linger near the dock, while many mourning locals in small fishing craft assemble in the nearby water. As the sun lowers, Becklin takes the stage next to a simple boat, within which rests the body of Ispin Greenshield.
With that, the boat bearing Ispin’s body drifts down the river and eventually out of sight. After a moment of silence, Becklin invites all assembled into the Brass Crab for a reception and opportunity to share stories about the departed.

Tram follows along and enters the Crab. He looks around with amazement as this looks just like a crab. He talks with folks about his experience with Ispin and how much he learned from him. He also shares his adventures. He drinks a little and eats little. Then repeats through the night.
A few stories in, a finely dressed younger local lets out and exaggerated yawn. He talks over the tale teller, yelling, "we've all heard this a thousand times, and you're more bring than he was, if that's possible." There is some grumbling but no one does anything to stop him.

"I lived in the same town with the old bore, and his dying has gotten me some free ale. If I had any good stories, I wouldn't share them with you rabble."
He turns to walk towards the door at this point.
