 ((The use of invisible telekinetic perk mage hand to cut the ropes and for Solace to fly out the temple and up into the sky was my last post I think, but I’m not sure if that was for this turn or last turn. Did it work if so?))

Faith mage hand worked to cut the rope on your first turn .   You’re up for second turn.

I counted Solace as a bonus action on your first turn.

Just to updated everyone on the current situation...

Faith's mage hand was successfully at cutting the sacrifices free of the Sarcophagus last turn..As was Solace in grabbing the chime and flying away with it.

Matheris was able to finish off the Yuan-ti Abomination and further damaging the Yuan-ti Malison A using the Green Flame blade while cursing the beast too.

Both Lena and Karea are behind Columns having 3/4 cover.  Lena on the West 2nd Column from the Alter and Karea on the East 2nd Column.

Faith's location is I think at the curtain doorway still I think?????

Faith takes aim at the Yuan-Ti closest to the hostages who have been cut free. 

He casts a Hex then an Eldritch Blast, but the snakes are sinuous and quick to dodge.

Lena ducks partially behind the Column for 3/4 cover.

A devastating blow by Lena as all three attacks hit bringing the Yaun-ti close to death, but still up...It raises it's hands and says,  "I give up...Don't kill me."

Seeing their master killed so quickly and it's life nearly over its survival instincts kicked in and it surrenders.  The other Yuan-ti with the lantern lowers it to the ground and surrenders as well.  "We are done.  No more fight."

Matheris quickly ties them up with rope and takes their gear, weapons and the lantern.

Actions:

Faith calls Solace to return to him. Once the evil Yuan-Ti are bound, he approaches the sacrifices he had freed and lays on hands for one of them, if either appears close to death's door. That done, he questions them. 

"What has happened here? What were your enemies seeking to do with the sarcophagus?" he asks. 

The good yuan-ti that were sacrifices reply in common, "Hssss...thesss Sarscophagus holds treasure.....  Before the evil yuan-ti arrived, we the followers of the Scaled Mother had begun to excavate the temple ruins, hoping to find evidence of their benevolent deity. The work is continuing under the rule of the evil serpentfolk, but it’s slow going. Several grippli have been forced to continue digging the place out, while their masters stay inside the part that has already been opened up.

The chime was being used to open the sarcaphagus and sacrificing us for their evil plans....The lantern is magical as well and will see many thingssss."

Faith thanks them. 

“What not?” He says, as Solace delivers the chime back to him. “Do we look for secret passages, do we open the sarcophagus, hoping either has treasure to help us rid the village of the wicked Yuan-Ti?”

He turns to the sacrifices. “You are hurt, but we could use your help if either of you are up to it.”

The Good Yuan-ti says, "The bad ones should be shown to the other to make them leave here.  Show what happens to boss Yuan-ti.  They will kill the Grippli in the ponds if you fight them.  Take this one to make them leave and not hurt anything again here.  You understand?"

Faith scratches his chin. It has been some time since he last shaved, near a month, and now a small amount of itchy fuzz has appeared on his chin and upper lip. The human part of his heritage can do little more. He shall have to shave soon. 

“We should lose the element of surprise, should this abomination’s head not be sufficient,” he raises to the others. 

Matheris says, "Very well Faith..Let's have the good Yuan-ti build a pyre for the dead evil Yuan-ti to get rid of the bodies.  The last surviving evil Yuan-ti can stay here tied up under guard.  We'll come back to deal with Sarcophagus later after we clear the town and save the pool grippi.  We' can get back into stealth mode and move to the pools first as it's on the way to the village."

Everyone heads back towards the pools and take the Hide.  The PWT is still active.  Matheris and Faith roll stealth please.  It is still just after sunset so outside Karea and Lena will be invisible.

You get to the pools, and this is what you see.  

Near the outskirts of the village is the grippli nursery. In five places, built up like the sides of a well, stand 3-foot-high mud-brick walls enclosing 20-foot-diameter circular areas. These repositories, filled with clean, fresh water, are where the grippli lay their eggs and nurture offspring as they mature. This location is under the control of four yuan-ti purebloods and two yuan-ti malisons.  They are laying on the ground wallowing in the muck on the outer edges of the pools.  You are within darkvision of the northern pool.  1 yuan-ti pureblood for the 4 southernmost pools with a yuan-ti malison at the northern most pool and the southernmost pool.

Actions:

You've just exited the river coming from the temple and see the pools south of you.  Each hex is 100 ft.

stealth roll: 15 + 10 = 25

Faith looks at the enemy. It is quite a number. If they strike will fully the children of the Grippli will be at risk. 

He turns to Matheris, gesticulating to indicate the good Yuan-Ti they have rescued could be of help. A distraction who come from the opposite side and draw attention away.
