Lena shrugs at Faith's question... "Fer somethin' t' be hidin' in shadow ain't an indicator or much. T' be seen whilst hidin', well that be a different measure." Moving boldly forwards, she calls out to the creature, confident that were it a predator of note, that the Redbrands wouldn't have allowed it to stay, or rather it wouldn't have allowed them to live. "Beastie, stop yer slikin' an get out here!"
Faith takes some hurried steps back, putting as much range between himself and the shadow as possible. It’s not that he doesn’t believe Lena… Well, maybe it’s just that the adventurer and Faith have different thresholds for these things.
OOC - I figured you wouldn't be able to beat the 24, but I wasn't sure if someone might have some sort of boost they could provide that would give you the chance.
The creature whispers and cackles in all your heads.
"A secret I have learned from the one named Lena."
"You all hear over and over again its foul murmurings and demands for food (Fresh meat).

Fresh meat. Fresh meat. If it would tolerate butchered stock from the Ruffian’s kitchen then Faith would have little issue, but Faith gets the sense this evil creature wants the flesh of the living in front of him.
He poses the question to the creature — whether the meat of the kitchen would be enough, however, the jaguar’s eyes on his efreeti ring grow brighter. They sense the direction this is taking.
Lena ignores the creature's claims. It is easy to say something, but proving it is another matter. She intentionally circles around the creature to try and drive it out into the open, where the others may be able to flank it or engage more profitably.
The creature is tracking you step by step and hisses and cackles at your sneaky approach.
"You cannot surprise me. Food fresh meat. I will attack should I be forced to kill. Lena moves up the right wall of the cavern. The Nothic is across the crevasse behind the column moving to stay covered from the party directly across from it and from Lena's angle as she works towards the north bridge. The South bridge is dilapidated and aged.
The creature makes a run for the cavern exit 4 on 1 and it will run to feed another day in hopes of getting an easier dinner somewhere else.

Lena tries to take her shot 'on the wing' if the opportunity presents itself as the creatures flees (presumably away from her towards the southern exit? Do we know where that leads to, or was it not conveyed in the information we gathered?)
If not, then she quickly looks through the area where the creature was hiding.
A cold breeze fills this large natural cavern, carrying with it the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched wooden bridges span the chasm. The rough-hewn passage to the south, which continues off the map for about one hundred feet and emerges from a tunnel in the woods south of Tresendar Manor. The passage is an excellent way to smuggle people or goods in and out of Phandalin without being seen and is thus perfect for a gang of slavers and thieves.
Take your shots. No advantage.
Lena is 30 ft away the rest are 15 ft away all on the opposite side of the chasm/crevasse.

She moves towards the creature after loosing her volley, trying to keep it within range of her bolts, throwing stealth aside in favour of closing the distance.
Faith looks better for wear on his emerging from the ring, refreshed and clean.
His expressions soon gives way to unease. He has never before seen a creature like the one that now lurks afore them.
As quietly as the Aasimar can, he whispers, “what manner of creature is that. Natural, or monster, or something worse still?”
In the temple, his education had focused more on the works and recognition of evil. Not the form of evil, quite so much.

"We look for food and perhaps some you have for me." It chortles, snickers as it moves behind a column for safety.

Karea's first stike hits true and injures the creature and it turns to measure the attack able to barely get missed by the second arrow.
Matheris makes a jump over the crevasse easily and attacks and combined with Karea's damage wounds it pretty good.
