If possible, Progo would like to run towards the back of the room to get a view down the corridor to try and have a shot at the runner. Should have 60 feet dark vision I believe so would have to follow far, but if it was able to round a corner I don't think Progo will continue to pursue.
Well now I'm hoping the first con saves gave immunity!
At the back of this cave is an area that appears wet, like a mud patch or a shallow puddle that appears to be a few inches deep. Against the wall wall, sitting in the puddle, is a chest.
Progo looks irritated that one got away as he lowers the crossbow, never even getting a shot off.
"Well we just sent a messenger boy to tell everyone here that someone is about. Maybe we set up a relaxing ambush sight full of stinky dead and wait it out."
Attempting to wait until Mara's back is turn away, Progo nods appreciation to the familiar for its assistance earlier.
Thalron holds up a finger over his lips to shush everyone and whispers,
”He’s not far. I think he’s hiding around the corner.”
He grips the hilt of the great sword in his two meaty paws and slowly and quietly advances. He makes Ready an attack at the first hostile movement in range.
Hearing Thalrons remarks of the to-be ambusher, Progo turns to Mara. He points at her does some strange hand movements then waves his arms out and stands in a offensive posture. Then points over to where he would guess the ambush would happen and give her a thumbs up with a questioning smile.
(I would interpret but it's more amusing to see where this goes without!)

Closing a little prayer book that she had used to say a brief word for the dead (from her Acolyte background), Mara looks at Progo, compassion in her eyes.
"These are no mere monsters like the spiders driven to protect their territories or the...abhorrent beast fueled by bloodthirst. These are creatures who have a spoken tongue and the intelligence to use tools...who ought to have the chance to turn from their wicked ways as much as us."

The butterfly started flitting around Progo much more than around her. Mara opened her fan, and hid her face behind it, her expression unreadable.
"If they had tools, then there's a chance they could have set traps along with this clever door, correct? Then it would be child's play to follow tracks so fresh."

As a bonus action, Mara uses the telekinetic feat to try to rattle the treasure chest's lock and briefly garner the lizardfrog's attention.
Perhaps the creature would miss the Minor Illusion of a Thalron materializing right in front of him, facing away but placed where the other three party members now were pointing to in various degrees of panic.
To the rest of the party, there is a piece of parchment stuck on the illusion, reading "BAIT"

You are totally right. Everyone saved so everyone is immune.

Thalron grabs his thrown javelins before proceeding into the next chamber.
“I don’t suppose we could rest for an hour so I can attune to the Dancing Longsword, can we … ?”
He says with a bit of dejection in his voice.

Okay, it will recklessly attack the illusion, exposing itself to your attacks.
((thanks DM!))
