“Do you think this sickly lot were starving looking for a way out?”
Thalron quickly picks his way through their belongings seeing if they had anything of interest on them (perchance a map of where they’ve already been?).

Thalron 10 ⏸️
Kobolds 8 ⏸️
Progo will shift the crossbow to his off hand and draw the rapier (I'm assuming this is close quarters combat) and strike at one:
Attack: 22 Damage: 4
Plus sneak attack damage: 5
11 damage total
You skewer through the one in front and it stabs the one behind it, too. When you pull the rapier out they both slump over dead.

Kobolds 8 ⏸️
Thalron attacks recklessly with his great axe. A wide horizontal sweep, gut level on a kobold.

Savitri turned to Fred, " Does that sound like fighting to you?"
You cleave right through the last two kobolds simultaneously, felling them like sapling trees. Combat over.

Just ragged clothes and their weapons. 2 slings and 2 daggers.
"Best make your mark and let's move on," Progo waves for the other to follow. And then continue on the path the Kobolds had came from.
Thalron leaves his encoded mark and follows.

" Well whatever it was it seems to be over....lead me to them."
You round the corner. It continues 20 feet straight then turns left.
Marks our passage. (Has the stonework changed?)

Fred follows along. "Glad you guys know which way we're going."

Before you marked it just now, the stone walls were unmarked.
Progo, give me a Constitution roll.
