"Yeah that was pretty weird, let's see the animals."Falkas says as he gets up and leaves to head towards the animals. "Can get granny too I suppose, can't understand her much though, right grandma!"
Before he leaves the room, Sinak asks Vrak “Do you have enough magic to teleport us out of here? When we start this, we need to know that we can get out quick, we will likely be moving fast and having folks chasing us, so we need you awake and at the ready. Right?” After he leaves, he watches for signals from Elovar, Sorith and Falkas to begin the mayhem..

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The boats are run by different captains. Some have been pre-booked or are owned by nobles. Some boats act as a ferry service and leave at regular times and some will just take the first hire that comes along
Are there any regular ferries that have a scheduled departure in ~ 1 hour?
If there are any boat available for "pre-booking," Elovar inquires how much it cost to reserve the boat for a departure within the next hour or so?
Vrak would reply "Teleport, sorry dear. I can do basic spells. Nothing fancy like a teleport and to be honest I'm nearly spent as it is. I don't have the stamina of you younglings and the Drake fight was a dosey. But I can message the high priestess, once we are away. She will be able to get us out in a snap. We should be on the river at least and cannot have any witnesses or people who can follow."

El would speak to some captains and determine that on average a ferry leads about every hour.
Prices for hiring a boat large enough for the party range from 20gp to 200gp. A 10% deposit is required to reserve
If Elovar can find a smaller boat (in the 20 gp - 60 gp price range), he'll put down the 10% + 1 gp. He tells the captain that he and his friends have an important engagement with some clerics later that day, and his friends may end up trapped at the casino all night if they're not careful. Elovar says that they should probably leave in 30 minutes, but he expects that the attractions of the casino will keep him and his friends there for longer. One of them was even trying to catch a performance of the Cirque Maladomini before they leave! He shakes his head and wonders whether they'll make it to their appointment in time.
In any case, Elovar says that he anticipates that he and his friends will be ready to leave some time in the next 2 hours but not for at least 30 minutes. He asks for the captain to have the boat ready to go and waiting at the docks during that time. He says that he expects that once he manages to pull his friends away from the games, they'll realize that they're going to be late and will be in a hurry to leave.
You would see 2 Tieflings who appear to be playing a game. You cannot tell if they are employees, but are not actively acting like staff
Douala is sitting at a table playing cards
(OOC: does the casino play in coins or chips? What is the ante / limit at Douala's table?)
If there's an open spot at Douala's table, Elovar sits down and says, "I'm glad to see that you're getting a chance to play yourself, Douala!" He'll join in a the next hand if it's not too expensive.
Sinak walks down and looks along with Falkas, cleaning as he goes, looking for guards and patterns, how many are stationed here and where. He winks at Falkas and nods toward the cages.

"Easy there, Bread Boy," Sorith chides as she reaches out to help steady Falkas after he runs into the pole. The dragonborn then turns her attention towards the area, doing a slow look about in an attempt to spot any guards or mirrors.
Casino pays in coins and El can reserve a small boat, please update your sheet.
Douala replies "Well I like to keep my hand in my old friend. And to be honest my lady does find it exciting when I win. Please join us, the next round is on me. I am on a winning streak"
Douala puts up 10 gold for El to join the next round (I will just do this as rollies. So please roll 1d20)

You can freely enter the main circus performance area but it is empty. There are no guards or mirrors here, but there is a pair of doors that require a key card. You can listen here if you want.

Soirth would note the claw patterns in the floor and size of the employee locked door, which would indicate that many large animals frequently move through the door. You can carry over the perception roll if you want to listen at the door.

Sorith's brow furrows as she takes notice of the claw marks on the floor, able to discern that it's indication of traffic that heads towards a set of double doors. She raises a hand, index finger raised in a 'Give me a minute.' gesture as she moves towards the doors and leans against it, doing her best to see if she can listen for anyone on the other side.

Sorith goes to gently shake Vrak awake, pausing to give the old gnome time to wake up before the dragonborn gestures towards the door a few times.

Falkas heads towards the animals, nodding at Sinak or Elovar if he sees them and glancing over his shoulder looking for Sorith.

So, he doesn't see any Tiefling patrons? Just staff members?
Hm. Are Douala and his wife watching or actively playing at the moment? If they're playing, what game? And is there an empty spot at their table?
