Lashaera states cooly "Well luckily all I want is a Statue that should by all rights be here where it can be cared for properly and not given away like a toy doll at a fair. No killing is required or desired. Now I have other matters to attend to, so please be on your way and return promptly with my Statue."

With that Lashaera casts a complex spell and a shimmering portal appears in the doorway in the corner of the room. You are all ushered through the Portal, on the other side of the you find yourselves in a strange forest. Vrakhazar follows behind you.

What do you do?

"Hmm, where to grandma?" Falkas asks Vrakhazar as he looks around the area, making sure that no one has spotted them. "Think anyone noticed our entrance out here?" (Perception:  14)

Falkas hears a crashing in the forest, it sounds like something big getting closer.

 Chrys thinks to herself, If everyone perished then there wouldn't be anyone to worship her.  Gods are strange.

After passing through the portal, the fairy smiles at the woodland scene, but upon hearing the approaching noise, her face hardens.  "Baldan... up in the trees!" she hisses as she readies her shortbow while flying up to the nearest sturdy branch.

As the party looks into the trees two large blue Guard Drakes burst through the foliage and charge the party.

I will roll initiative.

Twelve, you are up

(Is there a tree branch within 30 feet of Chrys that would give her an unobstructed line-of-sight to either drake?)

Chrys is currently in a Tree about 20 ft up. There are no trees between her and the Drakes, she has a clear line of sight.

Twelve rushes through the undergrowth, taking his net in hand. Stopping in melee range of Drake A, he throws the net forward, hoping to entangle the beast.

To hit: 5

He then spends a Ki point and uses Patient Defense to take Dodge as a bonus action.

The Drake bats the net aside with one claw and growls at 12.

Baldan, you are up

Baldan shakes with fear and doesn't move. 

Chrys, is up

Chrys takes careful aim at Drake A with her shortbow, not wanting to accidentally skewer Twelve.  Closing one eye and holding her mouth just so, she releases the bowstring aiming for the drake's head.

Shortbow Attack: 20 Damage: 8

She then calls down to Baldan, "Hey! Wake up!  Get up here before something eats you!"

Drake A cries out in pain as the arrow hits it back. It snarls at the tiny fairy with hungry eyes

Drake B is up

Drake B dashes towards Falkas
