Wilfred is quiet as they leave Kreeg alive in the room. He follows along in a bit of a daze. He listens to the conversations but doesn't contribute. He keeps looking at Archie with concern, but doesn't know what to do. As they enter the room with the Devil, he gets ready to jump in and protect the youngin's, but just smiles to see how well they handle themselves. He goes and looks at the Devil and picks up the Glaive it used.
Fist however seems to think some of this over and then his eyebrows raise, "Why, of course I've heard of Cliffvine Wines! They are some of the best wines we get in Little Calimshan! You don't... I don't suppose you have some on you?" he licks his lips in anticipation. "No.. no like I said, I was brought directly here, Satiir here was already here and I haven't heard of any other prisoners."
Wilfred smiles at that, and just mutters "Won't be any more wine out of Cliffvine. Maybe someday, but not for now.Too much work to do, isn't that right, Eliza."
As the conversation goes back to Thavius, Wilfred focuses again. He will speak up "Listen, if you all want to keep that.... MONSTER alive, then so be it. But I will not allow him out unpunished! I can't. Isn't that right Eliza." He looks to his side, then blinks almost in surprise that she isn't standing beside him. He takes a deep breath. "The only reason I'm even entertaining keeping it alive is because it seems like it wants to die. His life will not be a comfortable one, I will tell you that! If you want him to stay alive, then I hope you have some of your healing left." Wilfred will step into the cell and pulls out a dagger. "I like Virro's suggestion, you don't need your tongue anymore. Since you paid them to keep quiet, might as well make sure you are quiet, too! It's only fair, right Eliza?" ....
Corlith directs Fisk out the door of the prison room and heads off looking for the secret exit that Reed found earlier, next to the room with the large statue of Zariel. He does not look back at the Lady or Virro, Wilfred and anyone else still discussing the fate of Kreeg.
"I have not been to Candlekeep, tell me a bit about it", he starts to ask as they walk.
Archie lingers in the jail room with Virro as the others fetch Thavius to be locked up too. She regards Reya with confusion as she mentions Archie's birthday, "I didn't... I didn't tell anyone that, how did you know?
I... Well, I was gonna just go and leave a letter at the shop, apologising for being busy or making up an excuse. I don't want to worry my parents, and of they see me like this then... Oh, but if I'm not there they'll worry anyway... I don't know what to do. They'll be there in the morning, and I don't know what to do! but if I see them I don't want to go there alone, I don't know how they'll react... Will any of you come with me? We can all sleep in the shop tonight and get to candle keep by afternoon, there's enough room at the shop... Please?"
"In case there's anything left that needs locking up," Reed says as he leaves the jail, ushering Archie along he asks "What kind of cake do you like? Something that doesn't melt, I suppose. And don't worry about your parents. They're not as fragile as you think. Most can accept a lot."
While Virro and Wilfred linger with Thavius, Reed guides Archie and heads back to the ladder to the stables. He checks on the guard situation again so they're ready to move when Virro and Wilfred finish up.
Several head back to get Thavius, who is now conscious but still trussed to the table. He whines and thrashes meekly as you all move him to his new quarters, eyeing Satiir as his new neighbor, they obviously have never met before.
Wilfred stares at the dead bearded devil and before he really realizes what he is doing, he picks up the infernal glaive. The glaive is a five-foot long black-iron shaft tipped with a broad, two-foot long blade swept back like a scimitar. It is razor sharp, and has a gleam like he hasn't seen before. Gives him a strange feeling, one that makes him not want to drop it.
Assuming Roo stays with his buddy Wilfred, Reed heads out with Fisk, Corlith, Reya and Archie to head out the back way up the trap door through the stables. As they start to head through the secret door again, Slobberchops comes around the corner. He sees them, does a long and languid stretch, yawns and then trots up to Reed. He looks up at him expectantly and gives a little meow.
"Ooh, cake does sound delicious." Reya's stomach rumbles and she clasps a hand to it, "I'm not sure when the last time was that I ate!" and she blushes a bit at the sound of her stomach.
Reed isn't as quiet as he likes when he opens the trapdoor to the stables, but he sees that night has fallen and the stable master has gone home.
"Hey, it's night time now," Reed says down to the others.
When he sees Slobberchops he smiles and offers the winged cat more of the treats Reed took from the kitchen. "Why don't you come with us? There's no one left here to keep the food flowing."
He helps the cat navigate the trapdoor and then props it open so the others can come up easily. Once in the stable, Reed keeps lookout until the rest catch up, watching for any sign of any guards left.
"I always liked chocolate," Reed says. "Mum makes the best chocolate cake with these cherries and cream and maybe a touch too much liqueur."
"my parents expect better of me I think, they wanted me to feed my curiousity and got me this job apprenticing with Thell but I think this might be the wrong side of curiosity... but um, yeah I like chocolate, I actually like things that just melt in your mouth, I suppose with fire genasi it's better than things that turn to ash before it reaches your stomach, berries and cream are a favorite too. Ooh Oh! there's this one place that does fruit flavoured frozen creams, I'm not sure how they manage it but I must be magic..." Archie starts waffling on about cakes and such like as she follows, trying to take her mind off of things but at the same time circling back to the anxiety she feels, "...turning 20, trapped in a suit of armour, I'll never live this down..."
Corlith sits in the stable with Reed, Archie, Reya and Fisk listening to talk of birthdays and cake.
"Once we have reported back to Zodge, I could use a fruit flavoured frozen cream myself", he says to the others. "And a good nights sleep. So Archie, are you going to let your parents see you in the armour then?".
He also keeps an eye and an ear out for anyone coming their way.
Reya takes a seat to get comfortable while they wait for the others. She takes in a deep breath, enjoying the scent of the hay and horses. Looking out the windows, she sees the stars come through in the clear night sky.
"Do you think Zodge would be in his office this late? Should we try in the morning or see if he is there before heading to Archie's workshop?" She looks worried as she glances over at the young woman stuck in armor.
As you sit in the stables you hear guards heading in your direction over in the Vanthampur yard. They don't appear to be searching for anything or anyone, just moving at a slow pace, a bit of mumbling between them.
Looking around the stable you see there is a door to go into the courtyard, and there is also a small door out to the alley as well. The horse closest to Archie starts stamping it's foot and snorting a bit, the heat of her possibly affecting it.
Reya looks around a bit nervously, "Um, how long do you think they'll be?" and then raising her eyebrow as what Reed and Corlith are saying sinks in, "And where might that be?" she whispers.
"The Blushing Mermaid," Reed answers Reya. Then he pauses as he thinks for a moment. "It should be okay to go back there. They had to expect something was up with that coin when we unloaded it."
Reed moves closer to the door to the courtyard, looking to see if there's a lock on it.
"Maybe step away from the horse before it attracts undue attention, Archie?", Corlith suggests before replying to Reya.
"I hope they won't be long, but I have no idea what they are doing. This group works really well in a pinch, but given time to discuss options it is clear we have very different opinions and outlooks on most things", he says, his brow creasing slightly as if pondering something.
He turns to Fisk, "You never did tell me about Candlekeep. Is Sylvira well respected there? Are they supportive of her researching about devils and the like? You mentioned she is a fellow Tiefling, perhaps that is what drives her research that way. Oh, and you mentioned payment in magical items, perhaps you could expand on that a little whilst we wait".
Archie takes a step away and cocks a head at corlith. "Why are we hiding from them? They're city guards right?" She slaps her metal chest and a large flaming fists crest appears. "Or do we thing they're duke's guards or something?"
"ooooh, well their master is dead, and so is the demon they were worshipping... that should be enough to demoralise most low level cult grunts, shouldn't we arrest them or something?...
As to his question, if a flame could blush then this one does for a moment. "My name, oh I uhhh, well... Archie is a nickname, I have no middle, But my full name is Archaea Ardour. It's from an old ignan story... I don't speak the language myself but Archaea means to survive through harsh conditions and Ardour is akin to flame, so my name means 'Undying Flame', why do you need my full name?" She chuckles
Virro lingers behind in the jail cell room, assessing Thavius, standing with his arms crossed and periodically stroking his chin, staring at him.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Wilfred is quiet as they leave Kreeg alive in the room. He follows along in a bit of a daze. He listens to the conversations but doesn't contribute. “No, it’s unlikely Zodge will be in his office.” Reed says before laughing and clapping his hands together. “But we know where he likes to drink.”
“That we do, and I dare say what has happened here is something Zodge would like to know about as soon as possible”, Corlith adds.

"ooooh, well their master is dead, and so is the demon they were worshipping... that should be enough to demoralise most low level cult grunts, shouldn't we arrest them or something?...
Heheh, try saying 'Cult Grunts' ten times fast,
cult grunts, cult grunts cult grults, grult cun.. Oop!"
Archie keeps her distance from the horse and leaves it to the others to peek the guards etc...
"Archie...do you have a middle and last name? I feel they should both be used at a time like this", Corlith says to Archie in mock shock.
He then ponders her point, "Even if we did arrest them, when the others get here they likely wouldn't survive".
"fair enough" she says accepting his ponderment.
