Corlith turns around as the raccoon person and Reed call over to him.
"Sorry, didn't see you there", he says distractedly. "Good day to you, Fembris. A'lai sent us to find you as we have need of an undead eye, and she thought you might have one for trade. Our purpose is rather urgent I'm afraid".
He makes room for the others to enter before adding, "Would you help us Fembris? I am sure we can find something to trade".
Archie disappears from the doorway and turns to Roo and Reya "Raccoon man, there's a raccoon man, he's soooo cute and fluffy, I want him, ohhhhh my gods raccoon man! Come look." And with that she drags the stragglers in with her, having a bit of an overload as she keeps her eyes locked on Fembris,
Fembris scowls at Corlith, but acqueses to his persuasive nature. "Yes, yes I have undead eyeball. What you give me for one?" As he waits, he heads over to the pile Corlith was eyeing and finds a human sized undead eyeball. As Fembris holds it in his hand, you swear it is looking at you.
Reya smirks at Archie's fawning and pushing past her, she steps inside the jam-packed room. Seeing the raccoon, she can't help but smile as well.. but then she sees what he is offering Corlith and it turns into a frown, "Corlith, doesn't the eye need to be encased in a gem? Or did I misunderstand something?"
"Actually, my companion is correct. Apologies Fembris, but it is a very specific undead eye we need, as she says", Corlith replies.
He gives Reya a look that conveys his thanks.
"As for what we have to trade, let me think", he adds, then ponders for a moment. "How do you like jewellery? Assuming you have exactly what we need of course".
Reed thinks back to room full of golden tools and then the other room full of junky paper. He starts to open his mouth to offer something from one of those rooms but closes it when Corlith offers jewellery.
Roo looks aghast as Archie steps out to proclaim to him that, of all things, there is a Racoon inside the next room.
"Cute?" He says, absolutely repulsed. "Do you know what those things do? They're killers, Archie! Genocidal monsters with no remorse and insatiable appetites! Let me in there!"
He barges into the room, looking as mean as he possibly can.
Virro cocks his head toward the hidden doorway, hearing his name being mentioned. He tilts his head and says to the entrance, “You rang?” If space allows, Virro will step inside as well, saying “Did you say… undead?” A look of sincere curiosity on his face. He says to Reed, “Like the new outfit, looks great on you! Hey, Fembris, trade you my chain shirt for a breastplate? I can throw in some gold to sweeten the deal, if you have one around that is. But even more interesting would be that undead eye…. say. Tell you what. I could trade some fingers for it? Do you like undead… fingers? Oh, the possiblities! Endless massages! Foot rubs!” Virro grins a snaggle toothed grin at Fembris.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"So, not this?" and he tosses it over his shoulder where it lands perfectly on the pile of other undead items. "Jewelry? As in shineys? That's a good start yes yes, but what you ask is very rare. You all thinks of more for trade while I look."
And he dives back into his pile in another area, his bushy tail sticking straight up and is the only thing you can see as he looks. He doesn't hear Roo's comment as he walks in the door, too busy hunting.
He then pops up his head, "Fingers? breastplate? Hang on... one thing at a time", and he continues to search.
Not long after and he cries, "Eureka!" and coming out from behind that particular pile, he holds a light blue gem in his little paws. He holds it up high for Corlith to inspect.
Archie stops fawning over the fuzzy creature long enough to hear the interaction between him and Corlith, she then routes around in her bag before approaching Corlith with her hands cupped in front of her, a masque charm, a white pearl and several daggers clutched within. "Corlith this is for me, I don't have much but it should be my things that are traded for the eye, it's only right, right?.. Hey Fembris. Will this cover the eye? Please?" She sounds quite down as she offers the meager items she has, but hopeful that they will be enough
Corlith wanders over to inspect the gem, checking to see whether there is indeed an undead eye inside.
When Archie offers to trade only her belongings, he shakes his head, "That's not the way it works with friends. I have a few things that I picked up over the last week or so that can go towards it as well. It belongs to all of us anyway really".
If he is happy that the gem is what they need, he will take out of his pack the signet ring and jewellery box that once belonged to Amrik Vanthampur, adding them to Archie's offering.
"Wait, what is this you say?" Roo says, strutting a little closer to Archie and Corlith. He regards the little gem with interest, then cocks his head about, studying what is happening. "Why is this so important to you, Archie? Why is it so important that you'd be offering up your meager belongings?"
"It is hopefully an undead eyeball encased in a gem. It is to slow down the rate at which Archie is being consumed by Ironmaiden", Corlith interjects. "It will hopefully buy us some time to find a proper solution".
It seems Archie wants to argue with corlith on the intricacies of her perceived debt if friends would indeed start offering their possessions for this eye, but instead she frustratedly relents and pats him on the shoulder with a meek "thank you, I owe you"
She then looks to Roo and bends down to preen his little head, a sign of affection between birds that she had seen on the farms around where she grew up "these meager belongings are the only thing of value that I can trade for my life, otherwise... I'll be dead within three months, and it's not going to be a painless send off... Mister fembris." She stands once more addressing the fluffy raccoon man, "in trading us this gem incased undead eye you'd be doing me a great service. A service which could save my life, if the eye is worth more than we can offer then I'm willing to offer a life debt, provided I survive."
As Corlith leans forward to investigate, Fembris breathes on the gem and then rubs it against the tunic he is wearing to attempt to shine it up a bit. "Course it has what you asked!" and holding it up for those to see, it indeed encases an undead eye inside.
Fembris sets the treasure on the counter and starts accumulating what is being offered, a masque charm, a white pearl, several daggers, the signet ring and the jewelry box. The raccoon regards Roo with interest, but doesn't say anything. He looks at Archie as she pleads her case. "Life debt? Oh no, ma'am, I do not want to hang that around your neck. These items, they should do fine, I thank you." and he nods to the gem for someone to take it.
He then looks to Virro, "I sorry, but armor? I do not have here beyond some leathers. But did you say you had fingers? How peculiar, do you happen to have a pinky? That would be a fun addition to my collection!"
"All looks to be in order", Corlith confirms with Fembris. "We were fortunate that you were here. I am not sure what the chances of finding such an item so quickly are, but I am greatly".
He then motions for Archie to take the gem, "The sooner you get this back to Mr Ahvoste, the better. And perhaps whilst he is making this device of his, we can get back to Sylvira Savikas".
Roo bristles his feathers when the trash panda looks at him, and then softens when the trade with Archie goes so smoothly. He holds his tongue, which is a colossal feat for the little Gallus, when Fembris accepts the trade. Hearing the hurt or worry or whatever that emotion is in Archie's voice as she answers his question, he's satisfied that she has received something that could help her.
"Good enough for me." He says. "But if you ever need anything else, Lady Archeae, and you cannot find enough to trade for it on your own, buck, you let me know. I'd sell my very feathers for you."
Archie takes the gem, and puts it safe within her pack, and then offers the raccoon a handshake, if he takes it she will drag him into a hug. Petting his fuzzy little head as she internally squeals. 'soooo fluffy!!!'
As Roo offers his feathers for a future hypothetical trade she leans down and whispers to him "I appreciate the offer, but I'd never have you strut around like some featherless cur. We'll get me fixed and we'll save the cities from falling to avernus, you just wait and see." And with her life preserving gem acquired Archie happily heads back, Corlith leading the way.
Virro just says “Pity.” when the item he mentions is not found or collected, but he doesn’t seem so bothered, glad that Archie was able to trade for what she needed. Afterward, he smiles, pleased at the transation, then he starts to fumble around in his pouch, pulling out a pinkie at last. He turns and gives it to the raccoon, saying “Here you go. A tip for you. So pleased that you could help.” Virro straightens up and heads out, following Archie and Corlith.

When Virro gives him the pinky he squeals with a bit of excitement and turns with it, ignoring the rest of you and gathers all the other treasures murmuring to himself.
As you all head back to Teles's room, you see that it is just him in the room and that A'lai has left. He has cleared off an area for the Iron Maiden to lay down on a table and he coughs a bit unsure how to start the conversation. "I hope you were successful?" and when Archie produces the gem with the undead eye encased, he breaks into a grin. "Ah yes, this should do wonderfully!"
He looks as though he is considering a few things and then addresses the group, "So it will take about an hour to create the sphere that should help your friend. You're welcome to hang out here or conduct whatever other business you have here and come back. Up to you.. though I can't help wonder what did happen to Master Thell, I do hope she's alright."
