"Well at least that answers that question", Corlith states as the skeletal minotaurs do not ignore them, and in fact immediately engage them in combat.
He watches the fireball engulf them after Lulu's jab and Reed's well aimed shot skewers one, and decides to double down on the one Reed and Lulu attacked. He hangs back a bit and sends forth a ray of frost at the most hurt one. He then utilises the power of his bracers to send another icy blast at the same one if it still stands, or the next closest if not.
"You look a little singed, time to cool off", he says as casts.
Movement: Keeps his distance from the skeletal minotaurs Action: ray of frost against minotaur A - To Hit: 16+9=25, Damage 1+5=6 [cold] - on hit speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of Corlith's next turn Bonus Action: ray of frost against minotaur A if it lives, or C if not - To Hit: 6+9=15, Damage 2+7=9 [cold] - on hit speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of Corlith's next turn
The minotaurs stumble and snort as the onslaught of attacks hit and singe them. Then yes, minotaur A gets the frozen treatment which almost finishes him off.
Minotaur B rushes ahead, closing the gap about halfway. He moves his eyesockets around like he is looking for something, but dodges like C.
Reya rushes forward, heads straight for minotaur B, and slashes at him. Her first attack slashes against the bones of the creature, delivering 6 damage, but the other two miss as it dodges.
Minotaur A charges forward and gores Reya as she stands next to B. The long horns of the large skeletal creature sink deep in her upper thigh, causing 21 damage. She is able to stay where she is and isn't knocked prone. But she cries out in pain as blood runs down her leg.
Lulu spins around and seeing what has happened to Reya, she charges minotaur A (all three minotaurs are back together again).
Ramming him with her little tusks, seems so immeasurable, but the minotaur gets all of the 6 magical points of damage and now he is just hanging on, stumbling.
Minotaur C stomps his hooves a bit more than goes to charge at the one that threw the fireball. As he steps out of Reya's range, she thrusts her longsword forward and stabs him with 8 damage.
Minotaur C squarely hits his opponent. Virro feels the brunt of the skeletal minotaur's attack as he crits and as he rushes with his gore attack, delivers a whopping 45 damage. Need a STR save of 14 or he is pushed 10 feet away and is prone.
Reed, from his spot in the shadows can barely keep up with the chaos of the action going on. Virro looks to almost take a near fatal goring but Corlith says something he can barely make out that seems to change the course of events.
Reed feels an energy come with Corlith’s magic that lets him quickly draw an arrow and let it fly at the Minotaur that came at Virro. Then, without moving he lets another arrow fly at the same creature again.
Reaction (Voice of Authority with advantage from Silvery Barbs) - Shortbow at Minotaur C: 23 to hit for 14 piercing.
Bonus Action - Steady Aim
Action- Shortbow at Minotaur C: 23 to hit for 17 piercing
Virro is bashed by the horns of the skeletal minotaur, surprising him slightly. “Oof! What the...” he is surprised that the attack changes direction for some reason at the last moment, and it allows him to maintain his position and posture with the aid of his shield. “Really? Perhaps I should strike you down and raise you up again, to service me!” He pulls out his flail from his bag and swings it at the skeletal minotaur (C), recognizing from his knowledge that skeletons should be susceptible to bashing and bludgeoning weapons.
Strength save : (Nat 20!) 22
Flail : 20 to hit, for 8 points of bludgeoning damage, 16 if susceptible.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Having distracted the minotaur attempting to gore Virro enough to halt a potentially mortal wound, Corlith regards the minotaurs that are left.
"Their brains, which likely were small and shrivelled in life, have rotted away in undeath. I wonder if their minds are also gone", he ponders. "Let's find out", he adds as he reaches out with the help of his bracers to invade the mind of not one but two of the minotaurs.
Reaction: Silvery Barbs on Minotaur C, Advantage and Voice of Authority attack for Reed (which has been taken above) Action: Mind Sliver against minotaur A - DC17 Int Save or take 2+3=5 [psychic] damage and reduce next saving throw by 1d4 Bonus Action:Mind Sliver against minotaur C or B if C is down -DC17 Int Save or take 2+2=4 [psychic] damage and reduce next saving throw by 1d4
Reed's arrow cripples Minotaur C and Virro's maul smashes the bones of the large creature to dust as it collapses.
Minotaur A reaches up with his front hooves to hold his head as the mind sliver takes hold and falls to his knees. He then crumbles as well.
Minotaur B swings his greataxe at Reya, but it goes wide.
Responding to the attack, Reya stabs her swords at the minotaur, wishing she had a club like Virro! But a triumphant grin grows on her face as each and every attack lands on the skeleton, delivering 18 damage.
Thrilled that the minotaurs are crumbling around them, Lulu charges at the remaining one, hitting it squarely, but slipping off a rib and only delivering 1 damage.
Reed looks over at Virro as he yells at the minotaurs.
"You can do that?" Reed asks. "You could make walking skeletons?"
He nods his head with some admiration.
For a moment Reed considers taking the club out of his bag to use to bash the last skeleton like he saw Virro do, but decides that even if these creatures are resistant to his arrows, he's still going to do more damage with them than without.
He takes a breath, hold himself still and lets another arrow go at the last minotaur.

That arrow of Reeds pierces the skeleton right between the eye sockets and it falls. Clouds of dust rise up around the fallen, and even during this fight the other wandering zombies and undead have not given you a second glance.
"It's not like I expected this to be a holiday, but we do need to find some time to properly rest", Corlith mentions, not for the first time. "Hopefully we can do that when we find the Duke".
He looks around, "You still with us, Ironmaiden? If so, we should get moving, but be cautious".
He waits for a reply, and for Reed to move ahead to get a better view of what is to come, with a little extra focus.
As the dust settles, you find yourselves by the chapel that is centered within the decrepit cemetery. As you gaze upon it, you see that the city’s descent into Avernus has taken its toll on this once beautiful chapel. Nearly all the stained glass windows along the outside walls have been smashed, and the main doors hang open. No sign of any other creatures in or around the building can be seen.
As Reed and Ironmaiden head into the chapel, you all see that there is a marble patio that surrounds the front of the chapel. It holds eight carved pillars resembling heroes of Elturel’s past decorate this white marble patio leading into the main chapel.
As Reed and Ironmaiden explore I aside the Chapel, Corlith takes a look at the closest pillars on the patio, trying to see if he recognises the images.
"Famous people from Elturel?", he asks Reya.
When Reed pops out of the chapel, he looks across.
"Well, we know some can turn invisible, might be worth Slobberchops taking a look", he suggests looking around for it.

Reed manages to salvage an arrow from the rib cage of one of the minotaurs. As he examines it for damage, he looks over at the chapel entrance.
"Guess a little look inside is in order," Reed says.
He then looks around, not seeing Archie/Iron Maiden any where. "Are you still here IM? If you're invisible, try to still be quiet."
Then without waiting for an answer, Reed slips forward as quietly as he can to take a peak inside the chapel.
