Everyone can feel the pull of Virro as his peek of the eye starts to yank the group in the wrong direction. But this is overcome and you all push through to the next dream.
(That first dream was titled: Rainbow Angels)
Dream 2: Betrayal!
A flame-encircled battlefield appears on a barren hellscape. At the center of the circle, Lulu and the angel lie unconscious and prone, horribly injured. You see yourselves standing in defense of Lulu and the angel, facing outward as six small, spine-covered devils creep closer. They are surrounding you in your circle, about 30 feet away currently. In the distance, a formation of battered and retreating human warriors disappears through a portal.
“The devils!” hisses the hag’s disembodied voice. “You must defeat those devils!”
”Why do we need to defeat them? We‘re not part of her memory. Won’t that change her memories of what happens?” Reed asks out loud though he still keeps his eyes closed.
He shakes his head, wondering if this make sense to anyone else. While deciding whether the hag is using them for her own purposes or not, Reed decides that killing devils can’t be too bad and holds himself still, lines up the closest little spiney devil and let’s an arrow fly.
Bonus Action - Steady Aim
Action - +1 Shortbow - (2, 20 + 9) = 29 to hit for (10+31 sneak attack) = 41 magical piercing damage
Virro sees the spined devils and he points his right hand toward them. As before, two ghostly hands shoot out to strangle two of the devils that are 5 feet apart. The first ghostly hand misses its mark, but the second has a chance to grab hold of the neck of the spiny devil and starts to squeeze, before disappearing. He stays where he is, waiting to see if the devils will approach them.
Chill touch with Reaper effect : 1st : 9to hit (suspect a miss)
Roo is confused as the dream shifts from one landscape to another, but is quick to take advantage of the opportunity for a fight. He squawks as he runs forward, drawing the glowing mace from his back as he goes before clobbering the first spiny devil with a thundering boom and then dancing away from it...
Turn Summary
Movement: To closest Spiny Devil Action- Booming Blade: 17 to hit, 8 bludgeoning damage (from magical mace) + 6 thunder damage (from Booming Blade) + 10 additional thunder damage if the devil moves more than 5 feet of its own accord Movement: Away from Spiny Devil if he has any movement left Bonus Action- Cunning Action: Dash (if necessary to get in and get out) Note: If that 17 to hit connects, then Roo's Fancy Footwork prevents him from being targeted with an opportunity attack from the Spiny Devil he hit
With the two spined devils that were facing Reed and Roo now an obliterated mess, the remaining four attack!
The one across from Virro, who is a little hurt attacks the wood elf, flinging one of his tail spines at him but it flies right on by his head.
Then the one across for Corlith releases one of his tail spines as well, but it doesn't even make it to the tiefling, the release of it not getting enough fling. The next one attacks IronMaiden, also missing and the one attacking Wilfred misses as well. They all hiss in disappointment.
Corlith locks eyes with the spines devil across from him, and reaches towards it. Not one but two orbs of radiant flame descend towards it, thanks to the magic of his bracers.
"I assume that we can be hurt in this dreamscape", he says after Reed asks his question.
Action: Cast Sacred Flame on Wisp, DC16 Dex save or take [radiant] damage. Bonus Action: Use bracers to again cast Sacred Flame on Wisp, DC16 Dex save or take [radiant] damage. Special: Bastion of Law - 5d8 (Activated previously)
Vitro feels a tingling sensation in the back of his neck as IronMaiden's homunculus servant seems to be crawling out of his collar. The little metal thing electrocutes virro with a mild tingling static sensation that sends his hair standing on end.
(Feeling reactively lively, virro's first chill touch attack gains +5 making the roll to hit a 14 instead)
Ironmaiden seems unimpressed as the spine comes flying past, they bat it out of the way as to not let it hit Lulu behind them and then pull out an average light crossbow. Sending two bolts flying at the attacking spiny devil. (20 & 15 to hit, 7 & 8 mundane piercing damage respectively)
IM keeps their Rod of absorption in their off hand just in case
Wilfred watches calmly as the spins miss all of friends. He smiles as he takes out his glaive. "Welp, time to get to work. Hup hup!"
He starts spinning his glaive as he approaches the devil in front of him. Once he's close enough, his glaive slashes quickly, removing it's head in a flash. Using the momentum from the first strike, he moves to the next devil and viciously attacks two more times. The first attack hits soundly, while the last misses. "Alright, that's a good start!"
Virro feels the little jolt from IronMaiden, and somehow that helps him focus, steer the ghostly hand to the neck of one of the spined devils, causing it to grab on and squeeze. Virro turns and gives a grin to the IronMaiden, then looks back at the spined devil with a sneer.
Chill touch first hand : 14 now to hit, if it does hit, 12points of necrotic damage to the devil.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
(I forgot they have adv on magic saves, so Corlith is lucky on this one as I'm not going to redo it) But the one in front of Corlith winces as the radiant light sizzles his skin. Virro's second attack now hits with the added help from IM, the spined devil in front of him barely holding on.
IM's bolts hit and do a little damage on the guy, and as Wilfred removes the head of the devil in front of him.. the battlefield in front of them suddenly turns black as you all move on from this dream scene.
Dream 3: Devil Deal
A landscape filled with thick, black smoke and the smells of death and decay expands to encompass everything. The three small, injured spined devils that survived the previous dream kneel before you and offer to serve you if you spare their lives.
Roo steps up next to Corlith, his head bobbing from side to side as he examines the situation. He keeps the mace balanced in one hand, ready to do whatever Corlith asks...
Wilfred's first reaction is similar to Corlith. Why would he trust an enemy. Then, he thinks for a minute. They just did what was in there nature. And having more fighters is never a bad thing. There's still corruption that's needs to be rooted out...
Wilfred, with a calm expression, moves forward. His infernal glaive flashes out towards one of the devil's neck, but stops under the creatures chin. He uses the point to tilt the creatures head up so it's looking at him. "Would you fight for us? Only kill who I... We tell you to? How do we ensure that you will be loyal? Hmmm?"
"devils and demons apparently work from contracts filled with rules and clauses of conduct which must be agreed upon and adhered to by both parties once a contract is signed. Devils and demons being of an evil nature may attempt to trick you or push the boundaries, twisting the meaning of the written word, but it is very rare that they will ever break the binding written agreement..." Ironmaiden states in response to Wilf as if reciting directly from a book they once read.
"We are in Lulu's memories, we shouldn't be corrupting her by making deals with devils or demons or anything else", Corlith says flatly, showing his disagreement with Wilf's course of action. After being so friendly with Mad Maggie, and now wanting to accept the servitude of devils, he wonders about Wilf.
“Oh I would never trust them…” Virro says, listening to the other opinions, “but perhaps they just had to be shown who is boss. They could have their uses…guides, troops, lookouts. But, whatever you think. They don’t really interest me..”. Virro likewise looks for Lulu, and how she fits into all of this, why this could appear.
