Virro smiles at Mooncolor, saying “A little trick I’ve learned, called banishment. They looked like they did not want you set free, and I had a feeling that the Dao was going to try to squish us with that weapon. Did you know that Dao? How did you end up in that trap, what did they want from you? You sound like you have a lot of great abilities… one could learn a lot from you.” He gives Mooncolor a smile and a slight bow, pleased that their attempts worked.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I agree, your abilities do sound useful, Mooncolor. When you mentioned teleporting, are you capable of taking people with you, or is it just for yourself?", Corlith asks, wondering if this could be a way of moving about more safely. Even once per day would mean bypassing all sorts of threats.
"Do you know this place more than what you could see from up there? We need to travel to the place where demons are created next", he asks, hoping Mooncolor could also be useful as a guide, but doubting they were a resident here before their incarceration.
Reed watches everything that has happened with a bit of awe. He found himself a bit tongue tied around a real unicorn. He can only imagine what his little sister would make of this.
"Virro," Reed finally says. "Is that dao gone for good, or should we be making some plans for their return?"
Virro looks at Reed with fondness, “Hmm… good question. Well, it seems that Dao is not native to this plane of existence. It must have traveled here in some magical fashion, who knows. But I must have sent it back to its usual plane of existence, and there it will stay. It should not return, I don’t think - - it would have done so already. I’m thinking it won’t come back.” He turns to Mooncolor - “Which means you are.. free! I suppose. Want to help us set things aright, Mooncolor? Walk along with us a ways?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Reed smiles at Virro’s response but he stills stays away from the spot where he last saw the dao standing.
He finally nods a greeting to the unicorn but looks around for their resident flying elephant. Once he spots Lulu, he asks “Does any of this trigger any memories? Do you know where to go next?”
Mooncolor shakes his mane, "Know the Dao? Not personally know, he's been guarding this contraption for a very long time, and this is wow, I just can't thank you enough. End up? Sheesh, like I said, I do not recall how I ended up in this thing, whether due to time or magic, I have no recollection. But I believe my soul drew the demons to it, that was part of it at least."
He smiles at the compliment, "I would be happy to teach." he looks over at the hellwasp and swallows, "But probably not here, not at this moment anyways. Teleporting, yes, I am able to take a few with me when I do now that you mention it! Three others to be exact." He raises an eyebrow at Corlith's last comment, "Why would you want to go there?"
He starts walking towards Virro and Reed, "Yes, let's move on from this place. I am not familiar with anything beyond this area, even though I could see far, I don't know what everything is. Though I have seen my fair share of demons."
Lulu smiles at Reed and after communicating with IronMaiden, she faces the halfling next.
"We are looking for the sword we asked about, and that is another possible location", Corlith answers when Mooncolor asks why they want to go to the place where demons spawn.
He then nods to Reed, and moves back towards the demon grinder.
"Ready when you are".
The loss of Roo and Wilf will certainly hamper their chances, but perhaps Mooncolor will mitigate that some. He looks across at their new ally. Teleporting will certainly come in handy, but not if they want to keep the vehicle.
IM nods having had their questions answered, having listened to the others questions answered with interest, this unicorn will be a valuable asset, but there are more questions burning inside them, how come a unicorn is here in the hells to begin with? who imprisoned them? Why use non-avernus beings to protect it? IM keeps these to themselves for now, and begins moving picking up the trail back to the vehicles with corlith and the others.
"Lulu our hollyphant friend here can speak to us telepathically, though they are hesitant to make the same connection with yourself mooncolour, until you have given the relevant permission. Is this agreeable with you, mooncolour?"
Virro starts walking toward the vehicles, ready to move forward with Mooncolor, their conversation can continue. “Oh yeah, I’m sure that Lulu would want to “think” with you Mooncolor. If that is okay. So, I have another question, when you have time. I know you say that you’ve been there so long, it all seems fuzzy, remembering anything else. Do you have any memories of where you were and what your existence was like before you came to this place? I would like to hear about it, if you can. Meanwhile, onward! Let’s mozy on along…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Mooncolor's mouth turns up into a grin as much as a unicorn's mouth can, "Telepathy? Well now, I can do that too!" and he turns to the Hollyphant and they obviously exchange some pleasantries.
"A sword eh? Sounds like quite the quest! I would love to help you out. As for my memories? Hmm.. I'll have to think on it, I haven't had to really think at all in a real long time." He hangs out near the vehicle as the rest of you pile it.
Lulu telepathically asks Corlith to bring out the map again, and she points out the bare tree shown in the SE area of the map by a lava pool.
IronMaiden nods at the location pointed out on the map and fixes up the tormentor which revs to life. "How many soul coins do we have left? This one still has a little life left in it but without a proper gauge I am unsure how long it will last... We have two less passengers in Roo and Wilf but have acquired a new, larger, comrade. I do not think we will all fit in one vehicle"
Reed fishes around in his pockets, he was sure he had one or two of those soul coins ((can't remember if he gave what he had to IronMaiden or hung on to them)). If he finds some, he passes them over to IM.
He then looks at the map.
"We were just over on that side weren't we?" Reed asks.
Looking up at the giant hornet/wasp nest, Reed nods his head a few times and starts moving quickly to get into the wrecking ball seat ((though now can't remember if they kept that vehicle with them or not)).
"Whatever is over there, it's got to be better than sitting here waiting for those bees to come back."
After discussions are made, the party jumps back into the Demon Grinder, the open spots where Roo and Wilfred sat glaringly empty as you all get moving. Mooncolor looks at IronMaiden with their comment and shakes his head, "I am NOT getting in that cursed thing." With that decided, luckily the soul coin on this one still seems to have some juice as you get the infernal vehicle moving. Lulu finds a spot to perch so she can finally rest her wings.
With the unicorn running along at half the speed the vehicle can go, you find yourselves moving along much slower and able to enjoy the landscape. The hellwasps seem to be silent for the moment as even though getting the machine rolling, the sound doesn't seem to still anything from the nest behind you.
As the demon grinder roars across the blasted plains of Avernus, its massive wheels kicking up clouds of ash and bone-dust, the landscape ahead begins to shift. The air hangs thick with heat and brimstone, rippling like a mirage. Charred rock juts from the ground like broken teeth, and the red sky glows with the perpetual light of distant fires.
Beside the infernal war machine runs the unicorn, his celestial presence a brilliant contrast to the hellish terrain. His coat gleams like polished pearl, and his mane flows with faint starlight, untouched by the filth of the ground he gallops across. Each hoofstep leaves behind a shimmer of silver that quickly fades, swallowed by the cursed soil.
Up ahead, scattered across a wide swath of cracked ground, lie massive sundered chains, each link the size of a cartwheel, forged from black iron scorched with infernal runes. Some are twisted and warped, as if torn apart by unimaginable force. Others lie half-buried in the dust, dragging long furrows behind them. The ground here is scorched in concentric patterns, suggesting something once bound in this spot was both immense and dangerous. The scent of old blood and rust clings to the air.
In the distance, barely visible beyond the chains, the River Styx glimmers like oil-slicked glass under a dying sun. A jagged bridge, crooked and barbed like the spine of a great beast, arcs across the river. Carrion birds wheel above it, though their silhouettes seem wrong—too large, too many wings...
Reed eyes the flying shapes as the Demon Grinder rolls to a stop. He tries to estimate the distance to the bridge.
"Do you think they have day and night here? Or is it always just like this?" Reed asks the group then calls over to Mooncolor. "Does it ever get dark here?"
Corlith observe the hellscape around him, and knows that he should find it abhorrent, and yet he feels no such emotion. It is not as if he is comfortable here either, although the heat doesn't impact him like it might the others, he just feels ambivalent.
He looks at Mooncolor running alongside them, the most majestic creature he laid eyes on, but still he feels...empty. No, not empty, more like numb.
His mind the. turns to the chains, and what could possibly have been bound by them, and whether they escaped or were killed and dragged away. Was it like Mooncolor, some celestial not meant to be here, or one of the devils or demons that was part of the constant war.
He is jerked from his thoughts as the Demon Grinder runs out of juice as they approach the bridge.
"Do we need another coin? Or do you think we need to wait to cross the bridge, Reed?", he asks, wondering if that was why Reed was asking about night.

He is ready to get a move on as well, the sooner the better really as his defences are still up for the moment.
Special: Armor of Agathys - not sure, but must be about 20-30 minutes / 19HPs remaining
Special: Bastion of Law - 2d8 remaining
(OOC: Did Roo and Wilf walk away? Or did they take a vehicle?)
“Yes, let’s move before those hornets return…” Virro moves to get in his usual position at the harpoon, loading one up.
