As soon as the last cultist's body hits the ground, Roo grabs it, dragging it back around toward the gates of the spa before taking it inside.
"I say we stage these bodies inside like they were fighting with the Cult of the Dead Three or whatever." He says, his head bobbing around. "I'm all about a good scrap but sometimes I like to sleep. Buck."
Wilfred will help stage the bodies. "Here, lets put some of them inside. Yea on half way through the door leading the the secret tunnel. Then another by this room. There we go! Perfect. Alright, lets go!"
If no one searched the bodies, Wilfred will take a quick look and finds nothing (Rolled 5 on [skill]Investigation). "Geeze, all they had was the stupid masks and weird looking knifes."
Wilfred will come in last, keeping an eye out for trouble. As he enters, he sees Roo' making a fuss at the front desk. He chuckles to himself. "Come on Roo', stop harassing the poor lady." With that, he will head over toward Reed.
As they make their way to the blushing mermaid, Corlith makes sure to walk besides Archie.
"Nice work with that potion back there. Makes sense you keep the other one", he says quietly after spotting her putting the second vial of dragon's breath into her pack. "You mentioned going home later, won't there be questions about that armour you are stuck in? Oh, and if you could let me know what those items you said were magic do before we separate, that would be appreciated", he adds talking about the copper amulet and silver pin.
When they enter the Blushing Mermaid, Corlith hangs a little back with Wilfred, keeping an eye on both Roo and Reed in case they get into some kind of trouble. When Reed suggests they all get involved in the meeting, he will also wander over to the bar.
"Featherless scoundrel?" The woman continues to hold her paperwork to her chest as she watches a bit stupefied by the rooster, unsure if he offended her or not. Finally, not really caring, she shrugs and goes back to her work.
The tabaxi looks behind Reed and notes the motley crew that the halfling is mentioning, "Very well. Come, come, down this a way." She spins around and leaves from behind the bar and back down the hallway she emerged from.
Not looking behind her to check that you're following or not, she passes several doors on either side of the hall and takes a left as the hall comes to a T. After turning the corner, she takes the wooden door to her right, pushing it open and going inside.
As you follow her in, you see a round table in the middle of the small room. There is a thick, dark blue curtain hanging against the back wall, draped from the ceiling and skirting the floor. There are four chairs surrounding the table and the tabaxi seats herself in the one furthest from the door and faces you all. "Well? What do you have that you seem to want to rid yourself of? And please, shut the door."
"Did that potion have the same magic on it as the rest?" Reed asks the Iron Maiden. "If so, it's marked and they can find us. Might be a good idea to toss it in with the rest."
Once in the room with the door closed, Reed shows the tabaxi what they have.
"This is a lot to carry around, and things like these," Reed says, showing the crown and mask, "are a little to unique to take to a jeweler on the high street. Though with the chaos out there, maybe we could do that."
He looks at the treasure, then he looks back to the tabaxi.
"We've loose ends to still tie up so platinum would be good. Light compared to all this."
Archie puts the crates on the table with a thud. She then looks down to Reed, sighs and fishes the second potion out of her pack and puts that on the table with the rest, "fine, Yeah you got a point, I just.. it was stupid, whatever.." once the rest of the money and items are placed on the table, Archie steps back, she isn't really one for haggling or dirty dealings, and so she lazily walks around the room, taking particular interest in the wall length curtain.
"Lady? You call this foul abomination female? Gadzooks! What a beast!" Roo says as he examines the lady at the desk again and then follows the rest of the party into the backroom. "By Gallus, you mammalian monstrosities...if I had to fulfill my roosterly duties with any of them I believe my feathers would fall out. How embarrassing that would be!"
Corlith overhears Reed mention that the potion is likely enchanted, and puts his palm over his face and shakes his head. The sooner he could get some sleep the better.
He wanders over to Reed as the Halfling converses with the tabaxi. "You got this?", he asks as he scans the room for any other occupants that might be trying to remain hidden, perhaps behind a large curtain.
The tabaxi raises her eyebrows at the loot that is dumped on the table before her, picking up the crown and mask and turning it over in her paws. As Reed mentions platinum, she stops and stares at the halfling, "Well.. not sure how much of that we carry around, but I can check. But you're right, these two items will only be sold to certain people, so I cannot give you probably what you're looking for as we will not be able to hand it off easily."
She picks up the bottle of the red colored liquid and sloshes it around a bit, "Do you know what this does?" she asks the group.
Seeing Archie slowly move towards the back of the room, she stops what she is doing and stares at her, "Please, stay in front of me where I can see you."
"Roosterly duties?" she pauses and just stares at Roo for a moment, the awkward silence lingering... then breaks out in a very hoarse laugh. "Now that's a new one and I thought I had heard it all."
"My companion?" her attention now drawn to the tiefling, "Well of course there is someone back there. Would I meet in private with the likes of you all on my own? That would be a stupid course of action on my part, I bring out the gold, or platinum," she looks at Reed as she says this, "you all slit my throat and take it all with you!" her mirth from Roo'Stor's comment gone, she goes back to evaluating the loot.
She runs her fingers through the copper and silver coins and as she picks up the agates, she smiles. "Alright. For the coin, I'm not going to count it, so I'll give you 200g for it. The agates, now those I like and will give you full value, so another 100g." She looks at the other three items on the table. "Now these are a bit more difficult, I'll give you 100g for these. As for exchanging to platinum, I'll have to see what we have. Deal?"
Before leaving the courtyard, Virro pulls out his dagger and bends down beside the cult members, cutting off a finger from each and stuffing them in his pouch. The pouch is getting full so he stuffs the fingers in, making a little grunting noise as he does so. He pulls the drawstring at the top sealing them inside, and smiles. He turns to everyone and says, “What, one cultist is as good as another. More fingers might mean more reimbursement! Let’s get out of here….”

As they enter the establishment, Virro admires the statue with the hands, nodding to Roo, simply saying “Quite so…”. As they head to the back room, Virro watches the examination of the loot with a keen eye. When prices are discussed, he says to Reed, “What do you think, does that seem fair to you?” Virro looks hard and glares at the tabaxi, trying to gauge how much of a ripoff this is… and how much further the price could be negotiated. He sighs, and his fetid breath wafts across the table toward the tabaxi as he is thinking this over.

Virro decides to leave the haggling of prices up to Reed and Corlith, he feels unsure of the deal.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Archie shuffles back to where she can be seen, "fair cop, I imagine that the business can be dangerous. Anyway the potion is of fire breath, leaves a tickle in your throat afterward, I'll tell you from experience..." Archie places her gauntleted hands on the table leaning forward to the tabaxi, towering a little "The coin is worth more than that, even with a generous conversion fee, which we are happy to account for, but be reasonable here."
Reed runs the numbers quickly in his head. His head bobs to the side as he does. When he finishes up, he realizes that’s not actually a bad offer. Pretty reasonable considering what’s going on in the city.
”Make that 450 gold, all in gold or platinum, and you’ve got a deal.”
The tabaxi looks up at the suit of armor with no emotion in her eyes and replies, "I am very reasonable."
She picks up the bottle of firebreath with a renewed sense of curiosity. "Makes it so you can breath fire you say? Interesting"
She considers Reed for a moment, taking one of the silver coins in the other hand and scratching it against her chin. Finally she nods and gets up out of her chair. Tossing the coin back on the table, but slipping the potion into her bag on her hip, she walks to the back curtain and sticks her head behind it. You hear some mumbling, and after a moment she comes back to the table with a decently sized leather pouch. She drops it on the table with a thud, "Gold. Take it and I'll lead you back to the common room where you can spend it." she smirks at this and heads back out the door.
Archie looks to Reed, half expecting the halfling to snatch the coin off the table in the second after it lands. Either way she pulls herself back up straight and begins heading for the door "75 gold each right, if my math is right, which it always is..." She mumbles to no one in particular.
Corlith waits whilst Reed and Archie deal with the transaction, keeping a close watch on the curtain, not trusting the tabaxi any more than she trusts them.
"Let's hope we can work up some trust shall we", he says to her as she puts the push of gold down. "Seems like we have reached a fair settlement. 75 gold apiece it is", he nods to Archie as he repeats the figure they each will receive.
He waits for Reed to take the pouch, and then assuming nothing interrupts them follows back out to the common room.
Reed smiles and nods at the tabaxi. He picks up the pouch, weighing it in his hand and takes a quick look inside. His smile broadens at the sight of the gold coins.
Reed gives the tabaxi a salute.
"A pleasure," he says then heads with the others to the common room.
Once out of earshot of the tabaxi, he whispers "let's get out of here."
She leads them back to the common room, but stays in the hallway. "Feel free to come back next time." and then heads back into the shadows.
As you emerge into the common room, one of the tables is now empty, and a couple of the patrons eye you, but then go back to their conversations. The grung behind the bar, a lull in the demands at the bar, looks to the six of you to see if any of you need a drink.
Archie sits at the table and keeps her visor toward Reed, "so we split this and then imma head out, yeah? I know you guys wanna report back to zodge in the morning right? Wherever you decide to stay you could pick me up on the way, I'll be at Thell's machine shop."
"Sounds like a plan to me", Corlith replies to Archie, taking a seat at the table. "Although I suggest the rest of us stay at the Blade and Stars, I would rather avoid the places we have already stayed. I believe Zodge likes to drink there from time to time, so we might be able to kill two bi...I mean we might be able to accomplish both tasks by heading there", he says, adjusting his phrasing just in time as he spots Roo out the corner of his eye.
Wilfred will help stage the bodies. "Here, lets put some of them inside. Yea on half way through the door leading the the secret tunnel. Then another by this room. There we go! Perfect. Alright, lets go!"
