Archie follows toward the back of the party not wanting to make things hostile from the get go, especially if this place may be full of cultists. She keeps one hand in her light hammer ready to throw it across the room if needs be.
Roo' Stor hops down from the possum's back, puffs up, and struts around Wilfred's feet as they discuss the matter of calming down. The rooster, a high strung little fellow by nature, seems cordial enough, but he clearly doesn't like what the den-father has laid at his feet.
"Wilfred, I want you to know that as a Knight of Gallus, I highly respect you and your spoken word." The rooster says, puffing himself up as he struts. "But I do want it known that your words are easy for the Featherless. You have not watched your people cut down and butchered to be the meal of marauders, or your children devoured by the beasts of the forests. Do not become complacent. You never know when it may be you who is devoured."
He gives Glory of Morning, now following behind him, an admonishing side-eye as he talks about the beasts of the forest.
He pales again as Wilfred talks about chickens eating their own eggs.
"Barbarians!" He shouts, fanning his feathers and strutting sideways as he attempts to look more intimidating than ever. "Scoundrels! Mothercluckers! Where are these foul fowl that I may smite them and bring them low before Gallus!? Where!? I demand it! I will have at them and I will scatter their feathers to the four winds with the fury of Gallus himself! BAWK! And what belly crawling cockrel is there that isn't fertilizing those eggs! Does he not know his duty!? Oh wait, we're here?"
He sees Reed open the door and saunters in, and then he spurs Glory of Morning along, riding his possum right into the front room of the bath house with all the confidence of a rooster at dawn...
As Reed opens the wooden doors, you all step into an open air courtyard. It features a perfectly trimmed lawn and nicely manicured shrubbery. The perimeter is decorated with white marble benches peppered around the courtyard. To your left and right as you walk in are stone fountains, each in the form of a smiling nymph tipping a jug that spills water into a circular stone basin.
You continue around the corner to the right as the courtyard is in an L-shape, and a third fountain is found at the far end that mirrors the first two. Just before the last fountain, you see double doors on your left that are open to the courtyard giving into the bathhouse beyond.
Walking and riding through the double doors into the bathhouse, you take in the space. The walls of this twenty foot high pillared chamber are adorned with frescoes of bathing royalty. Perfumes and salts of all different scents fill the air and sting your nostrils as you get used to the area. Natural light streams through stained-glass windows, creating colorful patterns on the tiles of polished blue marble that cover the floor.
There are three shallow, sunken pools containing scintillating perfume-scented water, one to the left, one to the right and the other straight across from where you entered. There is an elf bathing in the one on your left, he looks at you all as you enter, but doesn’t say a word.
White marble benches bearing stacks of dry towels are situated near the pools, each of which comes equipped with a pair of brass faucets. You also see two closed doors, one on each side of the far sunken pool.

Roo' side-eyes the Elf in much the same way he had previously looked at Glory of Morning. Having hopped back up onto his mount, he ruffles his feathers and pulls the reins, sidehopping the possum toward the Elf.
"Watch your eyes your featherless cur!" The rooster snaps, clearly ready to do violence. "You better turn your heathen eyes away before I peck them out!"

Ignoring Roo, Archie walks around the area looking for a counter where one would pay or request service, if she finds it she will merely ring the bell there and wait.

Virro enters the bath like he is entering foreign land, stepping in cautiously. He nods to the elf, then when Roo jumps off his possum and starts berating him, he says in elvish to the bather, “Forgive our friend, he does not follow … usual … customs. We are still getting used to him as well. He doesn’t mean it.” Virro takes in the frescos, admiring the artwork, but he focuses on the smells of the place. He is used to preservatives, heavily poured perfumes, to hide certain smells. He smells to detect if there is anything… off.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Reed moves around the room, running his hands along the artwork and frescos, making little "Ah yes" and "Quite nice" sounds as he does, pretending to be examining the decor, while actually checking the walls for concealed doorways.
"Still looking eh?" Roo' says, slowly sidestepping toward the Elf, having no idea what's going on around him as he is compelled to show off his knightly prowess. "Get your dirty mammalian eyeballs off us before I reach between your scaleless legs, split open that pathetic fleshy coinpurse of yours, and put your weird external gonads where your eyeballs are, and your eyeballs back in the change bag."
Corlith enters the bath house proper, scanning the chamber idly as he walks through into the centre.
When Roo heads toward the elf in the bath, he merely watches out the corner of his eye, and when Virro talks to the bather in elvish he gives a subtle shake of his head. He did not have Virro's confidence that Roo wasn't entirely serious about his threat. But he was interested to learn more about his new feathered companion.
He angles towards one of the doors beyond the far sunken pool, whichever gives him the best visibility of Roo and the bather, and then checks the door for any sign of what it leads to and to see if it is locked.
The elf's eyes go wide as the rooster starts in on him. "My heathen eyes? Why, how does one not look at a group such as yours enter these quiet baths? Peck them out? I.. sir... I have done you no harm." The elf backs himself as far as the sunken bath allows him and he starts looking around to see where the towel was.
Archie finds a small table with a tiny little gold bell on it next to a small pile of white wash cloths. As she steps up to it and uses her gauntleted hand to ring it. It makes the tiniest little tinkle of a noise as she does.
As Virro tries to placate the elf after being berated by Roo, he stops looking for a towel and tries to understand what is going on. He looks to the closed doors expectantly, and then to the little bell that the living smoke stack just rang. Virro doesn't really notice any undertones to what he smells, but the amount used definitely is suspicious that it might be covering something up.
An androgynous human masseuse emerges from the South door of the far pool and saunters over to the table with the bell, seemingly unaffected by what is going on in the space, they place their hand over the bell to silence it even though the sound has since long been over. "Yes?"
No one seems to notice Reed as he checks all the walls in the main area, but comes up with nothing.
The elves eyes unfortunately fall back on the rooster and their possum and as Roo'Stor decides to show off his knightly prowess, the elf's jaw drops and he falls over himself getting out of the tub, grabbing the towel at the same time. Keeping his eyes away from the damn rooster, he keeps shaking his head and muttering to himself in elvish as he gathers up his clothes and heads into the door the human just came from and slams it shut.
With all the action of the South door, and as the North door affords Corlith a better view of the South pool the elf was in, he tries the door and finds it unlocked. Peeking in, Corlith sees a female human masseur with her back to him folding towels on a massage table. Bottles of perfume are stored under the table and natural light enters through a stained-glass window set into the North wall.
The Ironmaiden looks around a little for help, having not thought ahead and now being put in a position to talk to a person, in desperate reaction she takes a towel from the stack and wraps it around herself hitching it just under her armpits. The corners of the towel begin to singe and brown from the heat, as the Ironmaiden quickly taps the table with a finger, producing the words 'how much?' in scrawled writing facing the androgenous human.
Corlith can't help but let out a half sigh, half chuckle as the elf rushes out the other door. Looking into the one he opened, he clears his throat to gain the attention of the masseuse he sees inside. "My apologies, I appear to be a little lost", he says.
"My companions and I are new to this establishment, and were looking to have the tour", he continues whilst scanning the room for anything suspicious.
"How dare you enter our domain!" He chides, puffing himself up as he approaches the masseuse at the counter as Ironmaiden tries to pay. "You there! Yes you! Come forth and prostrate yourself upon the floor when we speak to you! How dare you remain upright as my esteemed colleague speaks to you! You rapscallion'! You mindless, uncouth brute! Shame on you and all the hens in your coop!"
Ironmaiden frantically hands Roo a small wash cloth, hoping to placate the excitable bird and then she turns to the masseuse and just completely facepalms.
The human looks at the suit of armor and as the corners of the towel burn under her armpits, they start frowning. Looking at the words on the table, they ask, "Is that going to come out? And how much for what?"
The female in the other room that Corlith found, jumps a bit as he speaks to her, but she smiles as she turns around. "Ooh, you startled me. A tour you say? Well, there isn't much to it. The main room that you are in, and this and the other private massage rooms." she points to the closed door the elf ran into. "Sorry there isn't anything else to show you. Is there something in particular you're looking for? A nice massage, or a dip in one of our scented pools?"
"Your domain?!" The human turns away from Archie and stares at the puffed up rooster. "Prostrate myself? What?"they start walking towards Roo'Stor and ignore the Iron Maiden as she hands Roo the wash cloth. "Upright while they speak to me? Why wouldn't I? Maybe you should be the one that shouldn't be upright. I'll show you an uncouth brute."
And they pick up Roo, and transfer them into the pool the elf just vacated. "Here, cool off a bit. I'm sure that bath needs cleaning anyways after the way you treated that elf."
Roo' Stor hops down from the possum's back, puffs up, and struts around Wilfred's feet as they discuss the matter of calming down. The rooster, a high strung little fellow by nature, seems cordial enough, but he clearly doesn't like what the den-father has laid at his feet.

You have not watched your people cut down and butchered to be the meal of marauders, or your children devoured by the beasts of the forests. Do not become complacent. You never know when it may be you who is devoured."
As Roo talks about his children, a very dark look crosses Wilfred's face, and then his face becomes blank. "It's best you don't speak on things you don't know about, Roo'Stor." He says through clenched teeth.
Wilfred is much more detached as they head to the bath house. If you pay attention, you will notice he is taking deep breaths and counting down from 10. By the time they get to the bath house, he is mostly back to normal. He takes one more long deep breath as he goes into the establishment.... And sees chaos. He chuckles as he watches the rooster attack anyone who looks at him funny.
As the masseuse places Roo' into a bath Wilfred clenches his fist, ready to deal with this. Then takes another deep breath and calms himself. Wilfred walks up behind him and places a hand on his shoulder. "Hey there. The name's Wilfred." He extends his other hand for a hand shake. "Sorry about this. We've had a crazy day yesterday and need some relaxation and recuperation. We were directed to your establishment. Roo' here isn't used to our customs. He means no ill will. I think we all need some baths and massages. I don't suppose you have a group discount?" (Deception9)
Reed smiles at all the chaos going on around him; the shouting, the oaths, the smell of burning terrycloth.
"I might be one of the mature ones, mum," Reed says quietly as he finishes scanning the main room for concealed doors.
When he comes upon Corlith, who appears to be negotiating a massage, he slips under the tiefling's arm and enters the room as well.
"Don't mind me," Reed says as he walks into the room. "I was just seeing if there were any private baths. I've never been too keen on stripping down in public."
While making a show of looking around the room for a private bath, Reed pays careful attention to the walls and any irregularities that would show a concealed door.
Corlith looks at the woman and his brow furrows ever so slightly.
"I wonder if you believe that, or if you are trying to conceal the fact that there is more to this bath house than meets the eye", he says genially. "For example, I believe it quite possible my companion there who is searching for a private bath might come across more than he bargained for".
"What do you think?", he asks the masseuse from his position in the doorway. "How about you tell us about the other purpose of this bath house? The secret part of the tour. Just between us, of course, no-one else needs to know".
He watches her carefully to see if her reply is genuine.
Virro sits down on a bench in the “private” portion of the bath house, grinning to himself as he watches his companions go to work. He focuses on the floor, looking for any footprints or hints of blood on the floor. “Where would it be…” he thinks to himself, followed by “Better keep my eye on the Rooster.”
