Virro gives a laugh when the woman flees the area, and he says to Reed, “Such keen eyes! You truly have a knack for finding things that are hidden!” He stands and takes a bow, pointing the way forward with one hand toward the passage, a model of showmanship that he doesn’t have, done awkwardly.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ironmaiden turns her attention back to the masseuse by the counter and taps the table once more, "how much to get in the back?" Appears scrawled on the counter erasing the previous words and a crude drawing of three hanged men appears below the new message.
"A very good idea", Corlith says as he watches the masseuse run out the bath house as fast as she can. He looks across to Jabaz. "Best if you were ill as well, Jabaz. Don't worry, I'll tell Mortlock for you", he suggests.
"Care to join us?", he says to Ironmaiden, Wilfred and Roo, motioning into the room with Reed and Virro.
With that he enters the room himself to see how Reed is getting on with the secret door.
"It's surprising how many people think that just hiding things makes them safe," Reed says as he looks more carefully into the passage behind the secret door. "I really think they'd be better off just leaving their most valuable possessions in plain sight. You'd walk right past them then."
He sniffs the air and crinkles his nose, putting his hand over his face.
"Smells like the sewers in there."
Reed looks around and grabs one of the small hand towels to cover his nose and mouth with.
He takes a step forward, before looking back and asking "Does anyone know who Mortlock is?"
Then, shrugging as he does so, Reed proceeds to push the door open and look more closely for any tripwires or other traps on the other side.
Ironmaiden having her attention brought over to the secret door shrugs at the masseuse and clears the table of writing, she heads on over to the passage way and illuminates her pauldrons just like she did back in the bar, though this time notably missing any evacuation orders on her breastplate.(bright light 5ft dim light 10ft)
She also summons a flame into her hand which just merrily burns, making fir an odd sight as she is still wearing a towel over her armour.

Roo' is absolutely incensed as he is put in the pool of water. He thrashes, covered in water, his feathers getting soaked. He squawks loudly, screaming through the building before finally being able to hop up to the edge of the pool.
There is a moment where all two feet of the soaked rooster is nothing but a howling, screaming, cursing ball of fury strutting up and down the edge of the pool, adding to the chaos of the situation as the first masseuse flees the scene. As everyone else leaves the room, he rushes across the room and behind the counter and (attempts) to lay the smacketh down on offending human.
"You seem to be ignorant of your betters you motherclucker!" Roo' shouts as he attacks, his wet feathers throwing water everywhere as he attacks the human's ankles. "Let me educate you! BAWK!"
If he messes this up it's because he's too wet...lol
Virro nods to Reed and says to him quickly, “She must have been talking about Mortlock VanThampur, …it must be. The son of one the great houses in Baldur's Gate. Actually, one the most wealthiest of the houses in the city. Their family wouldn’t stoop so low as to pay respects at one of our funerals, even for one of the high and mighty. Rare that we would get that sort. But I think that Mortlock is one and the same.” Virro then heads toward the stairs, pulls his black cloak over his head and pads down the stairs, staying quiet as a mouse. Using his darkvision he looks into the gloom, listening for any movement and seeing what is ahead. He checks the ground, looking for anything out of place.
Once Virro gets a few feet ahead, Reed starts down the stairs after him, trying very hard to not be distracted by talk of a very rich family that might be feeling the heavy burden of too many coins in the vault.
"I will be able to communicate as long as you haven't gone too far", Corlith says to Virro and Reed as they are about to head down the stairs.
He then waits at the top as the others descend, counting in his mind to thirty before pointing and whispering so that only Virro can hear, "What is down there, is it safe to follow?".
For the moment he is ignoring what is happening in the main room, the task at hand is before him, not behind.
Virro replies back “Stinks down here, but nobody’s home. Foul sewer water 2 feet high. Grab a bottle of that perfume they are using on the way down. Roo’s gonna love it, will be chest deep in this…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
While most of the party ignores the chicken squawks in the next room as they are starting to get accustomed to them, they start heading down the dark, foul smelling staircase. As Virro gets to the bottom of the stairs, he hits almost two feet of foul, stanky, water. It appears as though the water seeps into this area from the nearby sewers through cracks in the limestone.
As Virro looks around in the dank chamber, he sees two possible routes along the South wall. Other than that, all is quiet.
On hearing Virro's request, Corlith wanders back into the main room and goes to retrieve a flannel for each of them.
"Don't mind me", he says to the employee, Roo and Wilfred as he does so, before returning to the private chamber.
He lays the flannels out on the massage table and grabs a bottle of the perfume from beneath it. He drips some perfume onto the centre of each flannel, re-stoppers the bottle and pockets it.
Finally ready, he makes his way down the stairs, flannels in hand.
While Virro, Reed, Archie and Corlith make their way to the bottom of the stairs, flannels in hand, they start wading around in the foul smelling water. Just as they enter it, they hear a scream come from above. You all look at each other, wondering what it could be, and a minute later, Roo on his possum and Wilfred show up at the top of the stairs and head down. Roo is completely soaked and bedraggled, and Wil's arms and shirt front are all wet as well.
As you get to the bottom, only the three of you with darkvision can see the two openings that are in front of you now. There are no sounds emanating from the tunnels.
Fire still in hand, Ironmaiden touches her visor, the waft of flowers and freshly cut grass radiates from her helmet in a 5ft radius and as Reed comments on the good fortune of this sewer water being cool, Ironmaiden hesitantly looks down.
Her armoured feet are planted firmly in the sewer water and steam begins to rise from around her, she tries to hop around and get out of the water to stop it from warming up, but this only spreads the warmer waters which begin sloshing around and likely create small waves covering Reed further in the foul liquid, "oh shi.. oh sorry, I'm... if I could just, agh! we should get out of this as quickly as possible... Left? is left good? when in doubt left is first right?" panicking slightly she throws the fire in her hand down the left opening illuminating the path for 30 ft in front of her as it goes, before it plummets and extinguishes on the likely wet floor, She then simply produces another and looks to her team questioningly.
Reed watches Ironmaiden hop around in the water for a bit, making loud splashing sounds then smiles as she hurls a more of flame down the tunnel in front of them.
”I don’t think we need worry about being quiet any more,” Reed says.
He unhoods his lantern and steps forward to get a better look at the tunnel in front of them.
On hearing the scream, Corlith returns the others looks impassively, and then goes back to looking for a cleaner way to traverse the tunnel.
He takes out a silver coin, speaks a word of magic, and it lights up. With no other option to be seen, he enters the sewer water.
"I wasn't exactly expecting a grand adventure when I joined the Flaming Fist, but I did not envisage this", he says to the others just as Archie starts sloshing about.
He backs away from her a little, "Hold still Ar..Ironmaiden. Gently does it".
"In this environment the closest path is definitely best", he says agreeing to go left.

Reed sways back and forth for a moment as he looks at he tunnel in front of them then he turns around to the others.
"It doesn't look trapped," Reed says. "But if this cult has any smarts at all, we've bound to have set off some sort of alarm by now."
He turns back to the tunnel.
"There are some stairs ahead, and it's dark. Really dark," Reed says. "Which maybe means there's no one home, or they all see in the dark."
Reed ruffles through his pack before pulling out a hooded lantern.
"Ready to go?"

At the sounds of the chaos ensuing in the room behind them, Reed looks over at the others and shrugs.
"Collateral damage was expressly allowed by dear Captain Zodge," Reed says.
He nods at Virro to take the lead, and then lights and hoods the lantern to give himself a bit of light.
"I say we go take a look while our fowl friend gets warmed up."
Virro nods to Reed and says to him quickly, “She must have been talking about Mortlock VanThampur, …it must be. The son of one the great houses in Baldur's Gate. ”This is a touch unpleasant, but at least it’s not hot,” Reed whispers.
While he can’t see far down either direction, he does listen intently for any sounds.
