Virro wheels the harpoon around, trying to get it to bear on the last wereboar, but the darn thing misfires, shooting the harpoon into the air.
Harpoon : (Nat 1) + 7
Virro curses and stares at the foul beast, saying “You are just a rubbery, wild piece of raw bacon…” and he shakes his fist at him before sitting down.
Seeing only one Wereboar remaining, Corlith calls down a pair of flaming pillars to consume it. Hoping to end the conflict, along with its life, by means of radiant fire.
"Times up, and you are all alone", he calls across, almost viciously, which surprises himself a little.
Action: Sacred Flame on the wereboar - DC16 Dex Save or take 8+1=9 [radiant] damage. Bonus Action:Sacred Flame on the wereboar - DC16 Dex Save or take 4+6=10 [radiant] damage. Special: Bastion of Law - 5d8 (Activated previously and lasts until his next long rest unless used)
The wereboar screams out in pain at Reed's arrow, it sinks in deep. He dodges clear of Corlith's first flame, but then steps right into the second one. He howls as the radiant damage pierces his skin.
"I applaud you for your tenacity, feral swine!" Roo says, bouncing around and squaring up with the last wereboar. "You have fought well, buck! But now, it is time for you to be culled by Stryx!"
He bounces, then swings out with his mace...
Turn Summary
Dice rolls on Discord.
Still concentrating on Shield of Faith for 22 AC
Action- Booming Blade: Targeting wereboar. 19 to hit. 11 magical bludgeoning damage + 3 thunder damage. 6 additional thunder damage if the wereboar willfully moves more than 5 feet.
Wilfred looks to the harpoon seat, then to his bow. He sighs, realizing he won't be much help at this point. He focuses on the controls and gets ready to follow if they try to make a run for it.
Ready action to follow the demon grinder if it starts moving.
As Wilf looks around and feels a little helpless, ironmiaden places a hand on his shoulder, "hold us steady, this is teamwork. We've made a lot of noise and need to be quick in leaving this place"
Before they then continue with the onslaught of lightning which shoots from their body, illuminating the battlefield with flashes, aiming for the last hostile (24 & 20 to hit for a total 20 lightning damage)
As the final wereboar tries to get his way out of a spiraling situation, he doesn't even see the lightning coming from him and it takes him out. There is now a rooster amongst two dead wereboars, two dead wererats and a larger wereboar that was clearly the leader.
Lulu spins around in excitement, giving off little trumpeting toots!
Corlith sees the last wereboar finally fall and drives the Devil's Ride across to the Tormentor.
"We should take possession of their vehicle, and display the body of their leader to discourage any further attacks", he suggests coldly. "Speaking of possession, what do they have on them. We could use more of these soul coins".
IronMaiden looks to Lulu, communicating with them for a moment telepathically before ushering Wild to pull the Tormentor around.
When the three vehicles meet and corlith suggests the morbid display, IronMaiden cocks their head in apparent disgust at the suggestion, but also cannot find a logical reason to argue against it.
"All of this fighting has depleted my reserves, if we are working under the assumption that something powerful guards Zariel's blade then I may be useless in a fight, unless chance for proper rest is found" they state as a matter of fact. "If given such a chance I would be able to imbue another's weapon with arcane property..." They add trying to tempt those listening.
Virro jumps down and walks over, nodding to Ironmaiden and saying “I agree, I could use a rest as well. And I like the idea of displaying their heads or bodies as a warning to others, don’t mess with us…”. He comes over and clips off a single were - digit of each type of creature, stuffing it in his pouch and then hopping back on the vehicle he was on, waiting to see what comes next.
"we should find a more obscure area on the way to our destination, three vehicles makes a lot of dust and a lot of noise though... Perhaps it will be fine, perhaps others are less likely to attack three vehicles than two." Ironmiaden then puts a hand on the Tormentor s steering wheel to wordlessly ask wilf if he would give up the spot once more
Roo basically dances on the front of the new war rig, bouncing around amongst the battered, broken bodies of the slain. He struts over them, walking across their backs, puffing up and ruffling his feathers as he goes. He even lets loose with one loud, proud crow. Finally, once Reed has looted the bodies and Virro has added to his digitary collection, he starts cleaning up the mess he revels in, helping toss the two wererats overboard easily and shoving off the wereboar who had previously tried to toss him from the vehicle.
"How'd you like it, you featherless cur?!" He shouts down to the toppling body.
He then starts working on pulling the operator's body from the driver's seat, grunting as he hauls up the mass that is much larger than him.
"All you damned featherless being so big, I just don't understand!" He says with a strain. Who pauses and seems to reflect inward for a moment, something uncommon for the little Gallus. "Buck. Perhaps it is because Gallus wills it? So strange. But I hope my feather's fall out if I continue to question the morning light."
He looks the giant vehicle over.
"Ooooh....buck! I want to drive it! Can I drive it?"
Corlith sits astride the Devil's Ride contemplating.
"Ok, so we find a place to rest. Lulu, can you see anywhere suitable from up high? Would be good to know if there is anything else out there too".
When Roo asked if he can ride the new vehicle, he shrugs, "I don't see why not". He doesn't mention displaying the corpses on the vehicle again, leaving it up to the others to decide if that is what they want to do. It is almost as if he has forgotten he made the suggestion.
"I don't know exactly how we use those coins, Reed. But with three vehicles to power now I am glad to have more", he replies. "Unless we can somehow attach the Devil's Ride to one of the others until needed?", he asks, looking to Ironmaiden.
"Maybe when we rest we can figure out what the circlet is".
Roo continues trying to haul the body of the dead driver from the seat while everyone else chatters about this or that. He slowly starts hefting the lifeless corpse from its seat.
"I swear to the Holy Light, what are you people doing? Don't you know they're heavier when they're dead?! That's just buck that's just...what's that S word again? Séance?Sauce? Scones?"
Lulu flies up high and circles around a bit, then returns to the group and appear to be communicating with Corlith. Even with the loud commotion of the battle you all just fought, it doesn't appear you've drawn the attention of others... yet.
The dust stirs up and gets in your eyes a bit as you try to decide what to do next with your now three vehicles, the lightning still lighting up the sky even from this distance from the Companion back from where you came from.
Roo continues to try and clear the large vehicle, with no apparent help so far.
"Lulu has ssen some iron trees towards destination. There is something on them, but she can't tell what yet. I suggest we head towards those, and scout them out. No other movement around for now", Corlith says after the brief communication with Lulu.
He makes no move to help Roo, not being the most physically strong. He assumes Wilf or Ironmaiden would be the most likely to lend the Gallus a hand. And Virro the most likely to lend a finger.

When all three vehicles are together, Reed hops out and begins methodically going through pockets, and any hidden areas of their vehicle.
"Do you mean like tie him to the front?" Reed says. "Like some sort of ornament."
He thinks about it for a moment and nods, warming to the idea.
Reed pauses and looks at something only he can see to the side of the Tormentor.
"He's not a fan of that," Reed says then shakes a finger at the air. "Maybe you shouldn't have attacked us then."
Reed decides not to bring up the fact he fired an arrow first.

Reed holds up the sum total of what he's found.
"Three of those soul coin things," he says, then pauses. "Do we know how to use them if we need to?"
Then he holds up a thin, metal circlet.
"And this," Reed says. "Guessing it's magic as it's awfully nice compared to the rest of the garbage on board."
(Circlet of Blasting)
