Virro nods to Reed, and remains silent, eyes wide. He gives the rat a wide berth, going around the outside of the wall, looking around the corner. He has his hood up and he’s moving slowly, looking for anything moving or making a sound in the gloom.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Can't see or hear anything suspicious. The smell leaves a lot to be desired though, I think it drops back down into sewer water a little way along. Should make it easy to hear anyone approaching", Corlith feeds back and starts to relax, listening to the large rat chew on the food given it by Reed.
As Reed Virro and Corlith move through the door sneakily, and off into the darkness, the Ironmaiden stops short, her armour inhibiting her stealth greatly she simply nods to the forward group and mutters, come back and report soon yeah?
"This is a good place to rest," Reed says. "Only one small, friendly occupant."
Reed looks down at the rat.
"There's a big guy who's going to come in and freak out when he sees you. Try not to take it personally." Reed says to the rat, offering it another piece of food if it sticks around.
Wilfred will say to Roo' "There's no shame is accepting help when it's freely given. Don't let your pride be the death of you."
As Wilfred sees the rat, his grip on his glaive tightens. He also reaches for one of his hand axes with his other hand. Why the hell is Reed just feeding that vermin? Gross.
"I have absolutely no idea how to get back. I was followin you all. Let us know what you find!" Wilfred will keep an eye on that dirty rat, making sure it's not up to no good, or gets too close to him.
Done with the first treat Reed gave him, the rat happily takes the second piece. Twitching his nose towards the rest of you as you enter, but doesn't seem to be concerned at all, keeping by Reed if he moves around.
"Don't worry about him. This is a good one," Reed says. "You know rats are very clean animals. They wash themselves all the time. It's dogs and cats you have to watch out for. And spiders. Big, fat, hairy spiders. Those are bad."
Reed settles himself down, his back against a wall, his eyes towards the dark tunnel.
Ironmaiden strolls in after being given the go ahead, she takes a look at the giant rat and decides it is best left under Reed's control. Taking a seat by the wall she just stares off into space whilst the group take a moment to catch their breath. "Myrkul... What's the betting that that's a name for one of the tree dead guys?"
Corlith looks across to Archie as they take a breather.
”Virro dropped some lore back in the room with the carvings. Myrkul was one right, Virro? But we went through the door with the carving of Bane right?”, he says, looking to Virro for confirmation.
”So did we loop around, or is it all a mixture I wonder”.
"caves and catacombs link up all the time, I suppose... Hey did someone say something about a spellbook? Mind if I take a read wherever that went?" Archie looks around inquisitively, or as inquisitive as an armoured visor can look.
Reed brushes off his trousers and gathers his gear, tossing another small piece of food to the rat as he does so.
"Whether it's circles we're going in or these cultie types aren't particularly logical, I say we keep going until we find where they keep their coins."
He's about to set out down the tunnel without the door when he stops.
Reed pulls out the black leather book, with the small skull shaped lock on it and offers it to Roo.
"Your key might open that lock." Then he pauses and looks at IronMaiden. "Or one of your keys."
Archie spins the ring of keys that she took from Reed in one hand and extends her hand out with the other, "why don't you hand that to someone with at least a modicum of arcane knowledge, hmmm?" She wonders if Reed is still sore that she took the keys from him earlier, and meets that assumption with more than a hint of sarcasm.
"Arcane knowledge like what left you trapped in a suit of armor?" Reeds says with a smile. "I suppose that's about right for the level of sophistication these culties are displaying."
Virro heads back and sits cross legged on the opposite side of the passageway of the rat. “Stairs, going up. Than a door. And more fun.” Odd grin showing some teeth. Definitely in need of a dentist.
“When we came in that door down there into this Sewer of Fun and turned around, it had the marking of Bhaal, the god of murder. The door to the east had a marking of Bane, the god of tyranny. Door number three that we chose, had Myrkul, the lord of bones on it. Behind door number three we found the bonelord’s servant, that creepy little biddy back there that Roo ran through. I wonder what other pretenders and cultish half wits lie before us now.” Virro leans his head back against the wall and rests, meditating for the next hour. He clasps his hands on his lap.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As the group stops for a short rest for the IronMaiden and Roo’Stor to catch their breath after the last fight, Reed pulls out the old, dusty, black leather covered book that he pulled off of the crone in the last fight.
After a bit of a discussion, Archie gets her hands on the assumed spellbook and Roo hands over the key that fell from the Myrkul worshiper’s hair. After removing a few long black strands from the key, Archie inserts it into the skull shaped lock.
Once she turns the key and opens the book, a wisp of black smoke rises from its pages and coalesces into a skull that cackles madly for a few seconds before dissipating. Archie inadvertently breathes in a bit of the smoke, but after a bit of coughing is fine.
The Iron Maiden quickly flips through the pages a bit, seeing what spells are written upon the pages before slamming it shut and following the rest as they continue to head down the tunnel off of this room.
With Reed leading down the tunnel and his new friend right at his heels, he heads down the stairs and back into the awful, stinky water. As you continue, the rubble-strewn tunnel narrows to a width of 2.5 feet in places, making you feel more claustrophobic than you want to admit.
You pass through a small room where the ceiling is braced with four rotting wooden beams that rise from the murky water.
Seeing nothing of interest in this room, you continue down the very narrow passage that has now turned you north. The tunnel ends in another small room that appears to be a crypt, because in the center stands an open stone sarcophagus. It’s stone lid lies broken in three pieces under the water just to the North of it, you can see the fragments poking through the surface of the water.
"well, who's gonna volunteer to peer into that thing? Virro you're morbid as shit, you wanna go judge how well preserved the corpse is? Probably not great given the water and the broken lid... Ugh this place gives me the creeps" Archie rubs her arms as if she could possibly ever be cold, the smoke stack begins pouring out of her helmet again radiating a little heat.
Wilfred walks in "How about I head in first this time. Seems you all took a beating last time." Wilfred will move to the sarcophagus, glaive first, and peers inside. He's ready to attack if something jumps out.
Virro nods to Reed, and remains silent, eyes wide. He gives the rat a wide berth, going around the outside of the wall, looking around the corner. He has his hood up and he’s moving slowly, looking for anything moving or making a sound in the gloom.

Corlith smiles at Reed, "We just follow the stench, that will get us most of the way back".
That said, he moves forward with Virro to check the corridor, granting himself some extra focus as he tries to remain quiet.

"We all rested?", Corlith says, not having need of a rest himself and so ready to move whenever.
Noticing Reed start to head to the corridor he checked out, he also gets up and makes to move, watching the exchange between the others as he waits.
"We should not tarry too long, our handiwork could be discovered any moment".
Virro stands and begins to move to the south, following Reed, listening for any sounds of movement ahead of them and looking further into the dark.
