Xondario hurried back to where Grom threw the other goblins and tosses the one carried with them. He retrieves his hand axe and gives a quick search on the goblin as well.
"Grom let's get her back to Jenira's house. Oh ah Adelle, Grom. Grom, Adelle," he says as he jesters to each one in turn with his hand axe. "We should get out of the street." Xondario is thrilled that he was able to find Adelle, but the sinking feeling is starting to set in that she's in as bad as he, and she might not have the solutions he hoped for. But he had found her alive, and got to smash in a few goblin heads in the process. "We don't need any of them following us." But they are here, and I will crush them all.
Jenira has been nervously listening to the sounds of battle from her shelter position next to the door. She keeps even more alert eyes in the direction of where the fight took place and the sounds dwindle to nothing. 'I hope they are okay. I need them to be okay.'
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Adelle pulls her arm away as Grom goes to touch her, and in a scared, but loud voice, she says. "No! Don't touch me! I can do it myself!" And she follows Xondario, keeping up with his pace to get to where the others are. When she gets inside, she sees that Jenira's mother is not in good shape and she rushes over. "No...Holli" She looks over Jenira's mother's body, and when she sees that her legs are broken, she closes her eyes. With one hand on her leg, and the other on her lute, she starts to sing. "Hold on. You are still strong. Just hold, hold on." And she casts Healing Word.
"Um ..." Jenira looks on in confusion and subconsciously begins to try and stop Adelle before the smallest glimmer of recognition crosses her features. "Adelle?" She notices the warm welcoming presence of healing magic coming from Adelle. "Thank you for your help, but ... " She chokes back a small sob "I don't think there is any more we can do for her legs now. The best we can hope for is to make her as comfortable as possible while I try to track down more permanent solution." She pauses again and gently places her hand on Adelle's arm. "What happened?"
Gorm looks questioningly at his hand to see if there is dirt or blood or something on it to explain the woman's reaction... But no, it is as pristine ivory white as always. Then again, perhaps that is the issue? He shakes his head and tries to shake the thought out of it. She has obviously been through an ordeal. Obviously traumatized. Sure it would be difficult to confuse his skin with that or a goblin but there is no reason to jump to conclusions.
Gorm then watches as the woman, Adelle as Xondario says, rushes off with him with no hesitancy at all...
Once reaching the home Jenira brought them to ((assuming we do, don't want to get too far ahead of DM)) Gorm finds himself hesitant to enter with the others. Instead he busies himself with moving and searching the couple of goblins they fought here. He aims to do a better job of disposing of these bodies as he doesn't want any passing bands to see them too close to this house in case they stay here for a bit. Once that is complete Gorm will continue to linger outside the residence, hopefully finding some hedges or something he can sit behind for cover so he can watch the streets for coming trouble...
Adelle's hands begin to shake as she realizes her magic isn't helping here... She then falls back onto her butt, rocking slightly back and forth. As she is asked what happened, her brain goes blank for a moment as she tries to remember, before flashes of everything start to go by. "It.. It all happened so fast... No one saw it coming... Just some... Floating castle... Giants I think... Came from the sky... They threw...." She pauses as she takes a couple deep breaths. "They threw giant rocks down on us... It killed so many... A lot of us escaped, but a lot of us couldn't... One of the last boulders fell, hit something else and knocked me unconscious..." She stops here as she feels this is what they were asking for.

As Adelle falls back, Jenira settles down next to her. She gives her the space to speak, worry lighting up her features as the story unfolds. As Adelle finishes her story, Jenira will slowly move to offer a comforting hand, but gives Adelle plenty of time to refuse if she wants to. "Do ... Do you know where the others escaped to? Where we can find them?"
If Adelle accepts the comforting hand Jenira will slowly begin to wrap her in a hug. If she doesn't Jenira will stay close, but not intrude on her personal space.

Xondario steps into the doorway, goblins recovered sack in hand, sees Adelle run to Jenira's mother. What are the chances they would know each other. Knowing the problems that Jenira's mother is facing is well out his wheelhouse, he decides to take up a spot next to the door. He leans his hammer up the wall next to the doorway and sit on the floor. Listening to the discussions in the room, Xondario decided to search through the sack to see what he could find. What is Grom doing out there, of all of us he probably need to focus of his injuries more then the rest of them. (Potential setup for a short rest? Not sure Adelle would need it or not compared to others)
Hearing the talk of the flying castles and giants. "What are you talking about? You saw these things? What would drive them to come here of all places?" Thinking for a bit, he remembers the missing stone in the square. "You think all this was over that black rock that is gone? Seems like they could have just taken it without crushing everything. Must be more to it then that."
Adelle accepts the hug, but does not reciprocate it, but while being hugged, simply says in a soft whisper. "I... I don't know... They could have gone anywhere... They also could not..." Before she can finish, she stops herself and just starts to cry.

An outsider. That’s what she was. Alyssa witnessed the return of Xondario and another woman for Jenira and her mother from her perch against the wall. At least someone came back for them. It was bittersweet to see the frantic waste of magic in good faith by the newcomer, but there was at least some information shared amongst the exchange. While they console each other Lyssa corrects her glasses, turning her attention to her journal to document what was described prior to searching through her knowledge for further inquiry on flying castles and giants.
Jenira gently cradles Adelle as she cries and gently scans everyone over. "Is everyone alright?" She notices Gorm is not with them and with evident worry asks, "Did something happen to Gorm? Is he okay?"
“Here,” Gorm would respond if he found a perch close enough to still hear the goings on inside. “Just keeping watch…” His goal is to try to not be seen from the streets, he’s not hiding from those inside.
(Apologies again for my absence! Let's have a bit of a catch-up...)
The quickest and easiest place to stash the bodies of the three goblins is just in the entrance to the Inn. If you're trying to disguise your presence here there would still be the issue of the two dead worgs by the gate, but for now you've done what you can. You bring their pouches and sacks for searching in a safer environment, and add them to what you take from the two goblins that were in the farm. These two goblins can be quickly thrown into the pig trough. They're more or less hidden from view, and the pigs will probably even do you the favour of eating them, eventually.
Gorm, here's what you find in total:
From the two Temple goblins: a sack containing three blocks of incense, a silver holy symbol in the shape of a unicorn's head, various worthless personal effects; a sack containing three empty vials and a small, unlocked box containing 15sp and 37cp.
From the two farm goblins: a pouch containing a plain gold ring, and an elaborate ring of a silvery metal you can't identify, embossed with the emblem of a flowery shield, still looped on a broken silvery chain; a pouch containing 5cp; a sack containing a live chicken which flies up at you when you open it, then manically flees for its coop.
In order to be hidden from the streets Gorm is likely around the back of the house (north side), watching southward around the corner while searching the various bags. Another rock has narrowly missed the house here. The giants were either very poor shots, or they just didn't care what or whether they hit.
Xondario, in the sack from the trading post goblin: the Coster contains a variety of items for sale, and this goblin was clearly just shoving in his sack anything he could lay his hands on. As such I am going to let each of you choose an item from the Adventuring Gear tables that could fit in a sack, roll 1d4, and that will be what is in the sack. Alternatively, choose 1 item from the Tools table.

With a 15 you think about what is in each direction.
To the south, the Trade Way and High Road to Waterdeep and Daggerford. Not that way, one of you would have seen them, word would have spread.
To the East: if you could ford the Ardeep river then perhaps the eastern stretch of the Ardeep forest? Or the other branch of the river? Probably safe to rule that out.
To the North: the Ardeep forest, and elves. It's been a long time since you saw the only one of the Ardeep elves you know. Your mind dwells briefly on the fact that he likely isn't all that far away. But Nightstone and the elves are in an uneasy truce - the villagers would not risk going there.
So, to the West, into the hills. It seems like the only possibility. You know there are caves in the hills they may be hiding out in.
The expected reaction to an attack on the village is to retreat into the keep, but as you saw from outside the town the bridge has been taken out by a huge rock. The Lady Nandar and her guards reside in the Keep, and unless they have managed to get across the broken bridge and sneak past the goblins, they are probably still up there.

You make the connection of giants+flying castle= Cloud Palace + Cloud Giants, which feels significant but you realise the terminology is about all you know about this structures. That and the first one was supposed to have been built by the giant god Stronmaus, but that doesn't feel relevant here.
Just a reminder for Adelle and Jenira - Adelle moved to Nightstone only a little before the last time Jenira was here, so there is doubtless some recognition, but it is likely you do not know much of anything about one another, beyond what Holli has told Adelle about Jenira, which I will have to think about...
Gorm has no interest in the stuff as stuff. Or perhaps more clearly, as things for himself. The items, the coins, the rings... All of it excepting the runaway chicken... Gorm would idly go through these things and then eventually set them just inside of the home, out of view from outside. These should be used by the town, or at least someone from the town, to help recover from all this.
Gorm gives up some stealth or hidden-ness in order to be closer to the main streets where he thinks raiders or scavengers would head down. He's more concerned about protecting those inside than staying hidden so if he's not under full cover then so be it. He expects them more than they expect him so he thinks he will still have the advantage.
"Oh, I am glad you are okay Gorm." Jenira smiles in his direction. She looks over the gathered group and takes a breath, "Two things, it is likely the rest of the villagers, my family, escaped into the hills to the west, possibly hiding in caves, on the other hand with the destruction of the bridge it is likely the Lady Nandar and her guards are likely still in the keep." She glances over everyone, "Any ideas on how we should proceed?"
"I may have some suggestions, but I would like to hear from all of you." Jenira says seriously, obviously holding herself together very tenuously.
(As far as Items, I am preferential to Healing Potions and Healers Kits.)
Xondario still holding the sack closed ponders for a while. Realizing that Jenira was looking for feedback from the group, he decides to throw his opinion out. "We don't have a good plan for moving Jenira's about, and we need supplies. Before we run off out of town. Since these goblins seem to be no more then scavengers. I say we go over to the inn or temple and set up a base, and we check the the town for survivors. We make are way to the castle and see if anyone is still hold up there. We gather what we can, save who can. Then whe we are prepared we set off to find those who ran. Who knows how long it will take to find them. The danger seems minimal here now. Plus if we find the survivors, all we ate going to tell them is the attackers here are gone. Once the town is secured, we mave have a better idea about how to move forward. How is the temple Adelle, would that work as a good place to set up base if we start finding others in town?"
