As Vayle does a quick scan of the room, his eyes dart around, searching for any sign of Athelas. However, he doesn't immediately spot what he believes to be the rare herb. Meanwhile, Simon stands beside him, his gaze fixed on Agatha in awe and reverence. Feeling a sense of urgency, Vayle nudges Simon gently on his side, reminding him of their purpose for being there. Simon snaps out of his reverie and takes a deep breath, gathering his composure. He begins to articulate their request for information regarding Bowgentle's spellbook.
Agatha, the ethereal Banshee, listens intently, her presence radiating a mix of ancient wisdom and otherworldly power. However, her response is not entirely welcoming or accommodating. There is a touch of dissatisfaction in her tone, and Vayle senses that their encounter may not be going as smoothly as they had hoped. To change the course of the conversation, Vayle decides to present Agatha with the silver comb that belongs to Sister Garaele. As he holds it out, the Banshee's gaze falls upon the delicate ornament. Initially, her ancient vanity takes hold, appreciating the beauty of the comb. But as Agatha scrutinizes the comb further, her expression changes. A look of disdain creeps onto her spectral face. "How dare you bring me an object from that half-breed worshiper of Tymora?" she hisses, her words filled with venom. Agatha continues to utter hurtful and derogatory comments about Sister Garaele, causing Vayle's anger to simmer. Unable to tolerate the insults towards Sister Garaele, Vayle tells Simon that time for diplomacy is over. He warns Simon to close his ears whenever the Banshee is about to open her mouth.
