That would be the oddest hazing ritual ever. "Prove yer a man and take a hoof to the FACE"

Completely random but are there injuries in the game? Just stared thinking about it as making my own home brew rules and thinking of implementing it
My rules: Get minor injuries if you get large hit (over half your hp) and major injuries when you get knocked uncknscouys/die and are resuscitated. Minor heals over time or with potions (ie with health) but major requires you to find and pay a doctor. Arms give disadvantage to attacks, body lowers max hp, legs lower movement and disadvantage stealth, head disadvantage INT and WIS etc (face negates all charisma checks except intimidation :)) would love to hear what you guy think of this and any notes you might have
I think that's a great idea. Though I already have doctors for diseases. As for injuries, I tend to describe every hit leaving wounds, (video game logic where the hero can get stabbed through the chest and shrug it off like it's nothing) so I don't really know how I can fit the injury thing here.
No that's cool, it tends to be one way or the other.
I'm doing it for my world as magic works differently. It's less magic more controlling pure energy from rifts in the inter planar fabric. Therefore healing is less *poof* you're healed and more like funneling energy into the right point so it can heal itself faster or if youre in a rush just cauterise it with pure energy
Guys, I don't know what you are trying to accomplish by searching, tracking (survival) and using Divine sense. Please tell me so I can better tell you if it works or not.
Well Val wants to find the werefox ( or werebull by the strength of the guy ;) ) and finish the job... he will use the scent of the creature to track him.
The DMG lied. It said DC10 was easy.
It normally would be. However, the dice didn't want to help us today!
Also I'll be away this weekend, so posts will be sparse if at all.
It should be easy yes.. dice didn’t help.
I propose that, in order to join our band, the recruit must be hit by a spooked horse... kind of ritual of passage.. XD

believe me, been kicked in the face by a horse, would probably kill half the recruits and maim the rest :)
Indeed but still less traumatic than a sneak attack! XD

But he already knows its location via sound.
I think this torch might just become my main weapon, I'm loving the extra fire damage!
Ah! Ok I thought we had lost him and needed to be tracked. It's ok sorry for the confusion! :)
Volf!! I like it! XD

It's a fire mace! However, it will go out if you lose consciousness.
Just to let you know this encounter might turn Folki into a dual-torch wielding insane pyromaniac...... i've not decided yet....
"....rain is my only weakness!"
Fire damage is a viable option. Folki the trollslayer!
I think Val's AC is wrong on his CS.
Leather armor gives you AC 11 + 3 of his DEX bonus... shouldn't it be AC 14? It says 13 at the CS and I am not sure why.

Did you make sure to click the "use" button on the leather armour to equip it?
