Took a better look at Mage Hand. You can't cast it with a reaction so you can't really use it to knock the bomb back. Unless you have some feature or feat that lets you cast it as a reaction.
But this goblins are... stupid!! Selling that could have give them enough money for all te tribe for years! You see?? All that winning about beign poor and not having resources... all lies! Aahh hope we really survive this encounter... can I talk freely? This lot deserves a good lecture!!
Sure but here lies the problem: No one wants to buy stuff from them. They aren't complaining about being poor. Their complaining about everyone trying to kill them on sight. They would sell their weapons if they could find a buyer but they can't. Also, it's less about gold and more about resources here.
Elsara was planning to try the diplomatic route, but she accidentally triggered the leader. Whoops! It would've been interesting if the goblin didn't evade the fire breath, otherwise it might've just blown up in her hands.
"Then who are the heroes?" Evans responds "All the civilized races treat us like monsters and when we are forced to steal and plunder to survive, they use that as further evidence to prove we are monsters. It's a cycle." He then adds, "Tell me. You and your friends killed our clan didn't you? What makes you guys any different?"
I was slowing down text before then, since combat had been initiated, and it's only about 6 seconds a round. I kinda fell unconscious before I could reply to his follow up question :-p
A bit of both. To speed things along, I'm calling for everyone to take their turn. If something drastic happens I will ask guys who are later in initiative if they want to change. So you are posting your actions but the order of events follows initiative.
In case things move quick and I am not able to post in time ( it’s baby dinner and bath time here ) next turn Val will enter the room and stabilize our beloved Aaracokra.
Hey, taking another look at the home brew and I’m hoping you can clarify:
”Medium and Small creatures gain the same benefit from a piece of cover. For every size lower than small, cover increases by 1 level. For every size larger than big, cover increases by 1 level.”
It says “every size larger than big.” Does that mean that large and medium gain the same benefit? Or is it supposed to say “for every size larger than medium”?
Oh! That's a typo. It's supposed to be every size larger than medium. And the larger ones do say decrease because a wall that gives half-cover to a 6ft tall guy will not give half-cover to a 10ft tall guy.
Seems to me like everyone is volunteering to stay behind (For the record, pretty sure Gym did it first)

But I would vote that mage hand should be able to knock it back at the person who through it
DC 15 Sleight of Hand to do it?
yeah would have to be very hard
A 3d6 bomb could have wiped the entire party if we all failed. With no healing and only maybe two poitions.

Funny thing is, you came really close to convincing him... twice! Once right before triggering him and the second time was when he said this:

And that's the exact moment folki choose to charge, the rp decision making is more accurate than I hoped
Are we sticking to exact combat turns or more relaxed group turns?
(edit: I ask as I find myself waiting to post incase someone elses turn effects what I'll put)

Also, should the larger ones say “decrease”?
