As you look up, you can't see the goblins, but you hear them moving around on the wooden floor and hear them bickering in a language unknown to you. You ascend the ladder slowly and make your way to the top. You are hanging onto the ladder just at the top. The hole opens up into the middle of the wooden floor, and you see both of the goblins overlooking the outpost, looking away from you.
Just as you begin to stand up, one of the goblins turns and sees you, but you quickly hop backwards towards the opposite side of the watchtower and throw your knife. The knife sticks into the left shoulder of the goblin (Goblin 1), and it cries out in pain.

Sara Lonesplitter's Turn
Sara hears the cry of the goblin and looks into the outpost to see one crying in pain and holding its shoulder. She rushes into the outpost, towards the tower, but doesn't make it there just yet (30 ft of movement remaining until she reaches the base of the tower).
Zasheir Kalid's Turn
You are atop the watchtower (30 ft high), opposite two goblins (Goblin 1 and Goblin 2), just under 10 ft away from them. You have injured one by throwing your knife into its left shoulder, surprising them both. There is a hole in the center of the floor which opens up to the ladder. Around the edges of the watchtower are wooden rails. There is a roof on the watchtower, about 10 ft above the floor.
You are atop the watchtower and have just killed one goblin (Goblin 1). The other goblin (Goblin 2) drew his scimitar and swung at you, only to miss. You glance down the ladder and see Sara at the base of it, looking up at you. The remaining goblin (Goblin 2) is to the right of the other goblin (Goblin 1), within 5 ft of you.
As the last goblin falls, Sara climbs her way up the ladder, and as she gets there she notices the two dead goblins that you finished by yourself. Sara says, "Damn, you weren't lying, you do know your way around in a fight."
She bends down and inspects one of the goblins, revealing a black hand painted onto its armor. She scoffs as if she just came to a dark realization, and speaks up, "These goblins, they aren't just common bandits, they are servants of Deladron..." She then stands up and and lets out a deep sigh, "He's a powerful archmage who commands dark forces. We don't know where he is based or what his plans are, but my group has been tasked with hunting him down and eliminating him. So far we've been unsuccessful in tracking down his bases, but if they're here, then they must be after something, perhaps the Pass itself."
You have been awarded 250 XP. I have already updated your character sheet.
this is going to be tricky...
I quietly sheathe my rapier and put the throwing knife in my mouth before climbing up the ladder. I look to see if the goblins are distracted.

"Thanks"
I wipe the blood off of my weapons and retrieve my Dart.
"So you're saying that this isn't just some goblin raid? This is something bigger?"
I don't like the sound of this...maybe I should scoop out..then again,I am a little light on coin...
I put my hand into my gold pouch and unconsciously finger some coins before coming out of my reverie.
"Well,we might as well continue on,and see if we can learn more"
