Loremonger and intimidation for the Dwarf in the other room 14
"You fools will never beat Dran Enterprises. It doesn't matter how many amateur adventurers work for Acquisitions Incorporated, we have superior skill, resources..." he lectures you, despite your attempt at intimidating him, about his company.
"John, I have to go take of something in the back but I want you to know that I would love a stage added to the bar." Tully walks to the backroom and closes the door behind him. His green eyes flare up, "This might hurt a bit."
[I will cast mind sliver which is an INT DC of 13, if fails it will do 2 points of damage and d4 subtracted on the next saving throw, and then cast charm person which is a Wisdom DC of 13 and if the dwarf passes the charm then I will use my reaction to do silvery barbs as a reaction to make it have disadvantage.]
Sorry to go overboard but wanted to help push the story with all my stuff haha.
"Actually, my name is John Ruinedfarm. So, you do have your franchise positions, right? Who is the Cartographer, who is the Decisionist, who is the Documancer, who is the Hoardsperson, who is the Loremonger, who is the Obviator, who is the Occultant who is the Secretarian, and which positions are not filled?"
"Looks like this is what we have so far, what happens with the positions we didn't fill? You know...for the people who didn't pay attention during the briefing...not me." Kit says as she slides John a bit of parchment.
Cartographer: Grogan
Hoardsperson: Brakoba
Loremonger: Leif
Obviator: Kit
Occultant: Jennlin
Secretarian: Tully
"We don't have a Decisionist or Documancer, though."

The save for mind sliver fails, but the charm person save succeeds, even with the silvery barbs disadvantage.
Tully speaks to the other members, "His mind is stronger than I thought. None of my magic is working on him." Tully now speaks a lot louder so the Dwarf can hear, "Should we just kill him and call it a day?" Tully grabs onto the jaded studied hilt of his rapier and it begins to glow.
[This is a real question and also an intimidation check which was an 18 if you would allow it.]
"I'm fine with killing, but what you're suggesting is murder. I say we turn him over to whoever's in charge here and let them charge him with killing the tavern owner."
"I'm fine with killing, but what you're suggesting is murder. I say we turn him over to whoever's in charge here and let them charge him with killing the tavern owner."
Given that nobody has dealt with the numerous problems in town and nobody has asked questions about the men you killed yesterday, you don't know if anybody is in charge here.
“Wait what really we’re just gonna kill him? Well he’s with Dran Enterprises. Maybe we animate his corpse and negotiate a hostage fee?”
"Dran Enterprises wouldn't pay to get me back. If I ever return, it'll be hard enough to recover my rank after failing, why would they pay for me? Where's the profit?"
"So we parade him around, humiliation is far worse to someone like him then death. A dead Dran means nothing to them but a publicly mocked one..."
Though saying it out loud make Grogan reconsider. This branch was just established and drawing the attention of Dran Enterprises might not be the best idea. Still might get the dwarf to reconsider a bit.
Tully looks to Kit and Grogan, “You are both right, I lost my head.” Tully will straighten his shirt and slick back his hair before excusing himself out the room.

“Nice to meet you John! I have been a little behind on my homework, can you give me a quick rundown of each role’s duties?”
Cartographer: uses maps to figure out where the party is going
Decisionist: helps the party make decisions via voting
Documancer: writes fancy legalese and reads the fine print
Hoardsperson: Handles the treasure
Loremonger: Learns stuff and remembers it
Obviator: Finds obstacles and removes them
Occultant: Reads corpses for omens
Secretarian: fantasy communications officer
"Well, it sounds like Brak has already taken on the role of Hoardsperson. Aside from that I have no idea."
Oh Jennlin is absolutely the Occultist!
Loremonger and intimidation for the Dwarf in the other room 18
Tully will take the Secretarian of no one else wants it.
"You fools will never beat Dran Enterprises. It doesn't matter how many amateur adventurers work for Acquisitions Incorporated, we have superior skill, resources..." he lectures you, despite your attempt at intimidating him, about his company.
Leif will have Bully come put a hand on him so we can know how he feels (heart sight). Is he bleeding?

He feels enraged towards you.
He is currently not bleeding, but the blood on his uniform and around him shows that he was bleeding yesterday.

Brak looks around and plays with his warpick. “No witness here, we could get rid of him, yes”
Brak is prof in intimidation and Helps Tully.

The dwarf laughs. "Ha. I have nothing to give you. If you are going to kill me, get it over with."
