//--- DM Sorry, I didn´t understand who Coltinar´s talking to
To recap: Were invited to the stage: Arr, Coltinuar, Braxiel, Rylia, a dwarf who is on a table in the back, and the female Draconate who is on a table next to you.
Coltinar and the draconate got a red silk scarf when they participated in the cabinet number Rylia, Arr, and Braxiel got the tattoos. The artists were three elves and two changelings. The Elves did the magic and the music numbers, the changelings did the juggling performance, and act also as a kind of assistants.
Both the tattoo and scarf give 1d4 to use as inspiration points.
OOC - Brother Coltinar was referring to the Dwarf and the Female Draconate since they were not part of the party. He would approach them both out of curiosity as to their inclusion as part of the gift from the actors from the perspective they got them because they were connected to Elaydren d’Vown of House Cannith. Who are they, are they invovled in some way too with their task?
"Wow!! Your competition set was intense! Even if the first performer hadn't flubbed his part you were clearly better than he was, and your second piece was good. I really liked how you took what each of them played and then did it differently, and better. That last one, though, was...well...I don't even have the right words to describe it! The pulsing and driving beat and the inspirational melody...that may be the triumphant battle scene of our piece-in-work. You clearly have a promising career as a bard and could certainly earn your pipes at any of the finest inns or houses in Sharn. I am so happy for you!" Bryn gushes.
Eventually, they make it back to the table and their new companions. Bryn is interested in all of their tattoos, of course, and congratulates them on their prizes.
"Ooo! That could be a great battle scene!" Rylia says in response to Bryn's suggestion. "You really do have a flair for preforming too. But your praise means a lot to me."
She hangs out near the stage for a bit, speaking with the Elven performers and congratulating them on the wonderful show. "It was amazingly kind of you to allow me to play with you. This has to have been the most amazing night of my life!"
With Bryn, she finally makes it back over to her seat and the table with all her companions. Her viol is finally tucked away safely in its case. For a brief moment, she does take a look at her arcane tattoo she has. But she quickly shifts her shirt back in place over it. She figures she can admire it more later.
Unable to stay seated long, she is soon on her feet wandering again. She eagerly chats with anyone interested, but she focuses on those at hand.
"Arr, Paladin, did you enjoy the performances? Did you have any favorite parts? What did you think Braxiel?"
Rylia tilts her head, considering Paladin's question. "Well, I only really know how to play the viol. Which means I always choose that!" She grins, giving the warforged a slight wink. "As a child I had just heard someone play viol once..." She pauses then, as though trying to remember something. "Hmm, I'm not even sure who it might have been. Maybe we were at a fair or something? Hmm." Again she pauses briefly, but then continues. "Anyhow, I thought it interesting, I'd bet my parents must have played a role too, but it always felt like my choice. But once I started at it, I just kept with it!"
Coltinar approached the neighboring dragonate couple, who kindly mentioned that it was their first visit to this tavern. They were celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary and chose the Broken Anvil based on friends' recommendations about the intriguing performances taking place there on weekends.
The female dragonate commented, "Did you like your scarf? They're beautiful, aren't they? I absolutely love mine! It truly inspired me!" She smiled, tilting her head to reveal the red silk bow tucked behind her ear. "It's not cheap, you know, but she deserves it." Says the male dragonate. This playful remark made him laugh. "I saw that some of your friends have tattoos. Are you also celebrating something?" He asks to the Brother.
The dwarf is at the rear of the hall, engrossed in a lively group of fellow dwarves occupying two tables. They boisterously sang Dwarvish songs and appeared to be engaged in a kind of drinking game, as they all simultaneously raised their mugs upon hearing a specific phrase. Amidst his enthusiastic comrades, the dwarf didn't catch Coltinar's words, but he offered him a mug of beer while singing with gusto.
While Coltinar engages in new friendships, Ryliaand Brynchat with the artists.
"The pleasure was ours," Ruven exclamed to Rylia. "You were amazing! You both were," he glances back at Bryn. "We can do this another time if you´d like. We're leaving Sharn for a few weeks due to some work out of town. Generally, we don't perform with people outside of our House, but you guys are exceptional, so we can make an occasional exception, maybe..." Ruven suggested with a wink. "Do you frequently come this way or perform elsewhere in the city? I believe Savine and Mr. Ernest have your contact information, right?"
"It´s true! You were great! You saved us from Niron's disastrous presentation," says one of the changelings to Rylia, smiling and throwing a small ball of paper at the elf leaning against the wall. "He was hungry and he doesn't play well when he's hungry," he says jokingly, as the other elf walks away not seeming interested in joining the conversation.
Bryn laughs at the playful jibe, seeing that this group had an easy way about them and no offense was meant. He asks the changelings about where they were from, quietly admitting that he, too, was a changeling and that he had lost track of his family escaping from the war.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Brother Coltinar nods to the Draconet's, "Yes, several first for out group as well. Congratulations on your anniversary. May I provide a blessing from Dol Arras for you? If not I understand." If allowed Brother Coltinar adds, "May the blessings of Dol Arras continue to provide joy and peace to you."
Brother Coltinar Insight: 22; to check on if he believes the Draconets.
At the Dwarves table since they didn't hear him, he jumps in and sings along with the dwarves and says, "Thanks for the beer. Looks like the performers were generous tonight. Name is Brother Coltinar. They sure know how to put on a good show."

"Oh! Nice! We didn't realize you were a changeling. I´m sorry about your family. We are from Riedra, the most important city on the continent of Sarlona. I'm Ally and this is Jim. We are siblings. Our parents fled the ´Inspired´ and came to Khordaire. Our father is a dragonmarked half-elf of the House Lyrandar and our mother is a changeling artificer who worked for the Lyrandar until just before the end of the war, when she died in an airship accident." "The Lyrandar didn't take us very well... They're Elves, you know..." he says, in a playful tone, pretending to keep his voice low so Ruven won't hear. "So we went out into the world until we were hired by House Phiarlan."
The inspired
The Inspired are Chosen vessels that have been possessed by a quori spirit. Ruling over the ever-expanding nation of Riedra in Sarlona, they currently have slowly begun expanding into Khorvaire, starting to make trips to its eastern shores.
The Inspired run Riedra as totalitarian dictators whose purpose is to unify the culture and religion of the people of Sarlona, and select the best specialists to be at their service.
Rylia responds to Ruven's question, "I've not been in Sharn long. Met Bryn shortly after I arrived. We've just played a few taverns and such. Had a late gig for the festival yesterday. We usually take what we can find."
Pausing just a moment, she then adds, "We of course would love to play with you again! This place is amazing. If I had time I could prepare a longer, formal piece to do. Though the fun little ones are great too."
She listens with intetest, and a tiny bit of surprise, when Bryn tells the changelings that he is one too. Tons of questions fly through her mind, but she lets Bryn speak.
The dragonates sincerely appreciate Coltinar's blessings. They look, indeed, a couple in love.
The dwarves find it highly entertaining that this kalasthar, who appears gigantic among them and clearly doesn't know how to speak Dwarvish, attempts to sing along with them. Some of Coltinar's lyrics come out with absurd and incorrect pronunciations, causing laughter, and they dance and sing even more enthusiastically. Some seem a bit tipsy, but everyone is quite amiable.
The dwarf who had been on stage finally comes close and respond to Coltinar bringing another mug of creamy ale to him, "Indeed, indeed, they put on quite a spectacle. I had never seen them perform before. Hopefully, they belong to those Phiealan who dedicate themselves solely to the artistic work," the dwarf says, with a sarcastic and somewhat intoxicated tone, and having a sound laugh.
Brother Coltinar had hoped his effort with garbling the dwarven toungue would be at least honored for the effort and the amusement that he figured it would evoke. In common he says, "Thanks you good sir..I'll need more lessons. I will need to get back to my friends too. Enjoy your evening."

For the rest of the night in the dining room, Bryn engages in conversation with the rest of the party (trying NOT to be solely focused on Rylia =) He asked about their backgrounds, their favorite memories, and other small talk to form a closer bond with the group. He talks about his life before the Last War, his family (some happy memories, and the hint that he had lost them after the war, but not much else), and his life since coming to Sharn. It is a happy night, full of the flush from the outstanding meal, Rylia's stunning performances, and her victory.
When they break up for the night, Bryn is filled with a peaceful confidence that this group of fast-forming friends will be able to face whatever challenges come their way in the days ahead...
After speaking with the Changelings and Elvish performers, Rylia heads back to the table and most of the rest of the party. She keeps close to Bryn for the most part, though is happy to speak with anyone about the earlier show. She listens to bits of small talk, though isn't quite as enthusiastic about that. She feels a little out of place as they talk about the Last War, as it had had little effect on her or her family.
At one point, when Bryn is being very effective at NOT focusing on her, Rylia slips away to find Cetus. "Ah, there you are Cetus! I've been missing your company," she says, giving him a smile. "You know, I could really use a drink. Do you think there's any way you could get me something?" She lightly puts her hand on his arm. "Maybe something on the house for tonight's musical duel performance?" She waits hopefully, giving him a wide-eyed look. (Persuasion: 7)
Rylia finds Cetus behind the counter. He seems quite agitated and busy attending to some customers who are leaving and barely hearing what she says. "Sorry, the end of the night is always more complicated. But of course. Here's a drink. Congratulations on your show by the way. I got to see some parts, it was great."
Paladin, worried about Braxiel, sees that he is fiddling with his tattoo and looks a little tense and uncomfortable. The warforged had looked at Rylia's and Arr's tattoos and noticed that Braxiel's has something different. Paladin senses that all three shapes clearly possess Arcane energy, but the professor's, which is much more intense and vibrat than the others, pulsates in a unusual manner that Paladin cannot quite comprehend. Despite the elf's attempts to downplay and disguise it, Paladin's sacred pact makes him feel that something is amiss.
The dragonate couple waves goodbye to Coltinar from afar as they turn and leave. The dwarfs, also on their way out, pass near the table humming. The artists are gone and you cannot find Savine or Ernest as well. There are now few customers left beside you.
Rylia greatfully thanks Cetus for the drink. "I'm so glad you got to see some of the show. Perhaps if I perform again you'll get to see all of it!" She continues trying to make small talk with him, but finds that is difficult with how busy he is. She not so slowly sips at her drink and wanders back to the group's table.
"Alright everyone! What's up next? Looks like this place is clearing out. There must be somewhere fun to go! The night can't be over yet!" She pleads, a tiny bit like a child who is upset at being told it's time for bed.
Braxiel will look back at Palidan, "I am fine my friend it was all for the show you see, nothing to worry about!" Braxiel if he believes his own words but does not want to cause a commotion in his group.
