Bryn shrugs and replies, "Well, the last time we went out after a show we got attacked, nearly killed, and embroiled in our current mission. I'm all for hitting the town after a performance like tonight, but perhaps we should rest up for tomorrow's adventure?" He looks around the circle of adventurers and then adds, "Of course, we can meet up in one of our rooms for a bit longer if you want..."
Rylia gives Bryn a bit of a glare. "Well, that last time was last night! We were nearly killed and then awoke to a glorious day. Today was totally fabulous! We can't be afraid and worried about dying or what not. Let's have fun!" She sounds very determined, but also is looking a bit tired herself.
Brother Coltinar comments, "I've already had a couple dwarven ales. I would recommend we all stay together. So, if we want to go out, we should all go out. If we want to stay in, we should all stay in. You are free to do as you please, however. If we do go out, I'd recommend not too late as I'm typically an early riser. I need my beauty sleep."
He says with a chuckle.
He adds, "Are you all ready to fight off any troubles if you go out? That would be a concern you should consider if you plan to go out. I am ok with either option."

Bryn sees how tired Rylia looks and is feeling a bit worn out himself. In an attempt to persuade her, he stands close to her, gently takes her hand and says quietly, "I know you're still excited from your glorious performance and want to keep this party going, but I'd like to have some quiet time alone with you, too. “We are not that exhausted from the day that was rather light, but we would like to take care of some light damage that we sustained from the rats. Tomorrow we all need to be at our best,” throws in Arr.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Braxiel looking a tad worried, "I am quite tired my friend, I am in need of a good meditation. Can this wait for another time?" It is obvious that Braxiel is trying to avoid any potential real questioning.
Rylia leans in a bit as Bryn stands close. She tilts her head to look at him, a bit of her hair falling across her eyes. She smiles softly at him as he takes her hand, her glare from a moment ago gone. "You want time alone with me do you? Hmm, that sounds nice. But don't get any ideas," she teases.
Keeping a firm grasp of Bryn's hand, she is ready to leave. "See you all tomorrow," she says briefly to the others as she starts to stand and head out.
Braxiel looking a tad worried, "I am quite tired my friend, I am in need of a good meditation. Can this wait for another time?" It is obvious that Braxiel is trying to avoid any potential real questioning.
Paladin pauses. "Tomorrow morning." He let's it lie at that and heads for bed.
Bryn carries on some light conversations with Rylia as they head to their room, admiring her humor and honesty. He knew she was very tired, so he did not talk for more than a few more minutes. Once in the room, he kissed her hand, gave her a warm embrace, wished her night full of wonderful dreams, and then got ready to dive into his bed. As he lay on his side looking at her face, Bryn drifted away into that realm of dreams and wonder...
(Much better ending to this second day!! Long rest? =)
Rylia too continues chatting with Bryn on the way back to the room. Once inside the room she suddenly says, "What did you think? Other changelings! You think they knew your family? Or are they from somewhere else? Why didn't you ask them more questions? Do you already know other changelings? Whoa! Now your quick changes make so much more sense!"
Her rapid-fire words and questions cease as suddenly as they started. She plops down onto her bed, her face drawn and tired. But she looks over at Bryn for a bit. "It really was an incredible day today," she says softly as her eyes start to flutter closed
Perhaps she listens to any replies he makes, or perhaps not. Very quickly it is obvious she is fast asleep. Still in her clothes. Still lying atop her covers. But she looks very contented.
It appears that Arr was the only one that received any damage from the rats and they gratefully accept Colnar's healing, "Thanks, Brother." Then Arr follow Paladin towards their room to get a good rest for the adventures that await the next day.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.

Arr and Paladin, finally feeling in a safe environment, were given the opportunity to be completely inactive for a full recovery.
Braxiel tries to meditate but falls into a restless slumber after the night's performance in the tavern, with the newly acquired arcane tattoo pulsing on his body.
The dream of Braxiel
Braxiel´s subconscious is invaded by disturbing visions, like dancing shadows on a dark canvas. In the dream, he finds himself in an opulent hall, where shadows dance around a tall and elegant figure - the face of his mother, a high elf of House Phiarlan. He sees her adorned in magnificent attire. Yet, her eyes are filled with pain and anguish as she moves away, leaving Braxiel behind. The shadows around him intensify, and he sees a mess of flashes of moments from the past. He sees his mother looking at a picture of a beautiful male elf. The vision swiftly transforms into a farewell scene and he remembers his mother's face in tears while Braxiel steps away being taken by an old figure. The scene moves again and Braxiel is in a big room looking at the house crest displaying the iconic five-headed hydra in the wall when the heads begin to spit fire forming an image that floats and lands on Braxiel's shoulder, he is just a child that barely walks. It glows in an eerie, shadowy hue, moving across Braxiel's skin as if it were alive.
Amidst his tumulted dream, Braxiel ocasionally moves during the night while his mark which was supposed to be just an arcane tattoo takes on some strange manifestations. Sometimes becomes quite intense, sometimes almost vanishing.
After his meditation and prayers, Coltinar easily sleeps but awake twice with Braxiel´s moves and sounds and perceives that something is going wrong.
In the bedroom, Bryn prepares to sleep, while listening to Rylia's conversation. As soon as he gets to bed, he sees that the talented little human is already asleep. He lays down on his bed watching Rylia's peaceful face. It's the first moment of relaxation in over 30 hours. A merry-go-round of flashes of the latest events´ memories is running through his head while his eyes grow heavy.
The dream of Bryn
Bryn finds hisself in a lush green field of a village. He is a child and he is back in the place where he was born and raised. The houses, made of carved wood with artistic details, are adorned with beautiful tapestries that reflect changeling stories. The narrow streets are bustling with other changeling children playing and adults smiling as they exchange stories around a small fire lit in front of a house with a huge, stately oak tree beside it. The aroma of freshly baked bread comes out and floats through the air, creating a cozy and familiar atmosphere, almost sacred. Bryn is in front of his house. His father, who is talking by the fire and holding everyone's attention, smiles when a woman appears holding a basket filled with some kind of snack that emanates an intoxicating aroma. The sweet-voiced woman calls out to Bryn, It's his mother. She gives him a snack that he takes and dashes back towards his friends. They hear the sound of upbeat music playing in the distance, as changelings dance and playfully switch their personas and masks. It's a party day.
The feeling of deep bonds of friendship takes over the soul of the little changeling who runs happily looking for a place to hide. The last one to be found will be able to train (hidden from the parents) with the crossbow of the oldest friend, Ally.
Bryn easily gets rid of the others and finds a far and leafy tree. He goes upstairs and hides. And he would have stayed there without being discovered, if the branch he was on hadn't snapped, causing him to fall into the raging river that ran underneath. Suddenly, the little one feels the strong current dragging him to the waterfall right ahead, and despair takes him. He tries to scream but fails. His friends were far away. His parents were away, everyone in the community was at the party, and Bryn starts to drown. ! Bryn is now sitting around the fire with her father and friends, and other members of the changeling community gathered. He feels the warmth of the sun on his face and the softness of the grass under his hands. He's already in his adult form and it's like nobody sees him. Every image, smell, and sensation brings a wave of longing and nostalgia, but also a sense of purpose and hope for what lies ahead. His father begins to narrate the ancient legends of the Dark Six - the banished Sovereigns of Eberron. His father tells how "The Traveler" became the protector of the Changelings. Bryn feels a shiver run down her spine as she listens intently. His father talks about how "The Traveler" always saw the potential and strength in changelings, and that he was the one who bestowed upon them the gift of change. In his stories, he inspires them to utilize their skills to excel in times of conflict and danger.
As he listens to these narratives, Bryn feels a sense of belonging and pride in being part of a lineage that carries the gift of transformation. Bryn begins to float upwards, moving away from this whole scene that fades until it disappears completely and the changeling falls into a deep sleep, not moving until he wakes up.
Rylia simply blacked out completely until she was woken up by the soft music that start to play in the room at the agreed wake-up time and is gradually increasing.
//--- DM last night, when asked, you let Cetus know what time you wanted to wake up. All of you awake with a wake-up music, which one with a specific music ---//
Bryn was already awake when the young wizard woke up. He had to look far away, admiring the beautiful view of the city, with the domes of the towers drawing the horizon while trying to remember all the nuances of his dreams.
Arr, Paladin, Coltinar and Braxiel can see from their windows a great view of Hilt Hiver and the Sharn Middle City awake.
Rýlia's tattoo has the same shade and tons as last night. Arr's tattoo is much smoother. Braxiel's is completely gone (but the area is reddish, like irritated and he feels the area where it was with a small burning sensation)
The legend of The Traveler as protector of the Changelings
Long ago there was a woman named Jes, and she had one hundred children. Her rivals conspired against her and swore to kill her children. Jes begged the Sovereigns for help, but their only answer was the wind and rain. In the depths of her despair, a lonely traveler took her hand. “I will protect your children if they follow my path. Let them wander the world. They may be shunned and feared, but they will never be destroyed.” Jes agreed, and the traveler gave her his cloak. When she draped it over her children their old faces melted away, and they could be whoever they wanted to be. And so it remains. Though the Children are shunned by all, the gift of the Traveler protects them still.
First hearing the music confuses Rylia for a moment. 'Where exactly am I and what is that sound? Wasn't I talking to Bryn about something?' she thinks. Slowly she realizes where she is and that the music is indicating it is time to get up. Finally she opens her eyes, peaking across the room. A bit surprised that Bryn is not in his bed, she sits up, looking about until she spots him, looking out the window.
Looking down, she then realizes she had never changed since last night. The shirt was rumpled and her skirt was pushed up probably a bit more than it should have been. In a flash she sits up fully and pushes down the skirt back to its proper position. "How long have you been up?" she asks softly. She rubs her eyes a bit, trying to overcome the sleep still clinging to her and to get moving today.
Still sitting there on the bed, Rylia hikes up part of her skirt to reveal the tattoo on her thigh from the previous night. She examines it, wondering how it was done. 'Is this some sort of temporary replica of what a dragonmark is like?' she wonders. (Aracana to see if she gets any insight looking at it or recalls any information about such tattoos: 23)
"I should probably wash up and get dressed," she announces. "You want to make use of anything before I hog it all for a bit!" she says with a grin.
Brother Coltinar wakes to the music thankful Cetus is good at his job. He takes a moment to stretch and wake fully. He moves over to look at Braxiel without touching him as he sleep.
When Braxiel awakes Brother Coltinar asks, "I may need to examine this more closely my friend. You woke me twice last night and while I do not mean to invade your privacy something is not right for you. I may have an idea already and may not need to examine you further, but if so, may I?"
