The half-elf takes the currency and gives Gendan a new set of studded armor.

“Thanks again, hopefully this will come in handy when the weather gets hot like this.”

Gendan returns to the guild and gets ready for the rest of the group to leave for Camenose. 

Well, I'm ready to move on if you guys are. Tell me how long you'll stay in Sydil and what you guys will do during that time.

(Also, don't worry about Elyza's sample rotting, she made sure that the moss will stay alive (She got some of the old bark and some soil with the moss in the jar.)

Val will ask in the Guild for a place to buy some potions. 

(You haven't gotten paid yet. You will get it when you escort Elyza to Camenose. You'll be paid 50 GP x 6 = 350 GP)

(My mistake, since we were talking about the guild I thought we were finished. He has funds so he will try to buy some potions anyway ;) )

Val is greeted by Catherine at the Guild. Upon being asked about potions she says, "There's an unmarked store that sells potions and some other unconventional items. Maybe try there." She gives you directions to the place and you can find it. The shopkeeper seems to be tiefling artificer. "What can I do for you today?"

“Good morning sir. I was looking for some healing potions. Do you have some? Also.. I was told that you also sell.. unconventional items... what would that be? “ 

I was assuming this was just a short stop for supply restocking, so probably either a few hours or just overnight.

"Yes, unconventional items include bombs, Alchemist's fire, Acid Vials and a few kits. We also have a few magic items but the magic is pretty weak (Common Magic items. There's too many to list so just tell me what kind of common magic item you want that aren't weapons or armor and I'll tell you if the guy has it or not). A Healing Potion costs 55 gp."

"It will be 5 healing potions please. " Val handles the tiefling 3 platinum pieces and waits for his change and the potions. "Do you have any kind of container that can hold several items without weighting too much? I've heard fo such devices and find them extremely useful. Also if there is something in your stock that could help against this heat I know someone that could appreciate it.

( Bag of holding? I know is not common but asking doesn't hurts. I was thinking in an orb of shielding (Fire) would help Gendan with the heat? )

(A Platinum Piece is only 10 gold, not 100. That was 4e.)

The shopkeeper looks at the platinum pieces and says, "I think you're a few pieces short." He then adds about your other request, "A container that doesn't weigh much? We have a lot of empty bottles and other similar kinds of containers (sadly no bag of holding). Now if you want something to beat the heat, I have something that might help you. We have Orbs of Fire Shielding but those are a bit expensive. It'll cost you 88gp. However, if you want something that'll give you relief from the heatwave we're having, I think I have something for you." The tiefling shows you a box. It contains small orange beads. "Tell your friend to eat one of these beads. She won't feel the heat for an hour after consumption. Each bead costs 5 gp."

(Sorry!! I mislead myself and for a moment counted the platinum as 100 gp not 10 gp. Currency already adjusted to pay for the potions I am not sure if the Orb will help Gendan in a more definitive way or will don't do anything at all. He will pick 10 beads, money substracted too)

"Sorry! was thinking in another thing " says the elf a little bit embarrashed counting and leaving the platinum pieces on the desk. I will take 10 of those beads too. It could be handy for all of us. So, if he wears the orb he will not suffer from the heat at all? with or without the beads? "

The tifling hands you a wooden box where the beads are kept. "Whenever you buy 10 beads, you get a box for free. As for the orb, if you use the orb then yeah, it'll be more than enough to make you feel better in the heat." He also gives you the potions.

"here you are then good man, 88 gp for the bead"

Valwarin takes the potions, the two boxes of beads and the orb and goes back to the Guild.

He will search for each of his companions and give each one of them a healing potion. If he didn't find any of them he just leave the potion in their rooms with a note:

"Better safe than sorry"

( a more larger notes to the following members of the party will be left if they aren't when he goes to their rooms)

"Take good care of this " he gives one of the beads boxes to the cleric " This beads will help us to sustain the heat at least for an hour each. You got 10 in this box, I will keep other one, so we have 20 in total. "

To Gendan he gives the potion and the orb.

"Here my friend. I am told that if you keep this in your person you will suffer no discomfort for the heat wave, even in your armor. Hope this really helps"

Elsara will, after caring for the horses, return to the rental place. "Excuse me, we're back but I want to hire the cart for a little longer. Could I extend it another tenday please?"

(If it's 1gp a day still, she'll pay another ten and then buy another bunch of treats like last time.)

The owner addresses Elsara, "Yes about the horses, after reviewing the papers you signed, it seems that you guys are part of The Guild. As a member privilege, you don't have to pay the extra late fines." He then adds, responding to Elsara's request, "Yes you can. However, you will have to pay 8 gp for the days that you had already rented it and pay again once you get back."
