Runt makes a berserker overhead swing and misses completely. The box 5... (Recharge: 1)

The box5 knowing the situation is dire, tries to attack Runt by hurling two rocks at her.

Briggs takes out his whip and smacks the box5
Whip1: 17 Dmg: 5
Whip2: 10 Dmg: 7

Runt nimbly avoids both rocks as she closes in on the box5. She swings wildly with her hammer but misses. Not wanting the box to get away and get more Titans, Briggs wraps it with his whip and with a flick of his wrist, slams the box into the ground, breaking it completely.

Everyone gains: 575 XP (Level up!)

With the sounds of combat having died down Barry sheepishly comes out of hiding and descends the stairs to rejoin the party.
What do you do now?

Gendan feels a dark energy come over her. She sheaths her longsword and a warhammer materializes in her hand. She releases the hammer and reaches forth as a morningstar appears in her grasp. "I hate that bastard, but this is pretty cool,"  she states of her fiendish patron. She also notices that even the darkest corners of this dank place have become clear to her (Devil's Sight Invocation - see even in magical darkness up to 120ft.).

"Well Briggs, have we fulfilled our contract? Is it time to get paid? I would love to go shop for some of that dragon armor we saw in town."

Briggs says, "Well, that's not really my call to make. Once you guys lead us to the thing you found, Barry will let you know."

“Alright, Let’s get back to that pile of bones then.”

Runt breaths deep. Feeling the burn of her muscles from her effort to kill the titan. She is sore, but she feels stronger for the effort. 

She  nods her agreement to move on.

The party leads Briggs and Barry to the Dragon Fossil. Barry jumps up and down in excitement. He says, "This is it! This is the break through we've been looking for!" He turns to the party before continuing, "All across the world, archeologists have found Fossils of dragons. However, in recent years we have detected a pattern. More than half of the dragon fossils look severely damaged like the dragon was slain and didn't die of natural causes. The bodies were surrounded by these types of metallic shells (pointing to the weird metal on the ground). We at first assumed that it was due to some natural disaster that killed the dragons and the shells were some leftover of Draconic magic. However, that spike that's sticking out of the skull, bathed in Faerz magic is substantial evidence to suggest the contrary. The Dragons were hunted to-"

Briggs cuts Barry off at this point and says, "Wait a minute Mr. Barry. We have evidence suggesting that these Dragons were one of the most powerful beings to ever walk the earth. How can they be hunted to extinction? There's no way that is the case right?"

Barry shakes his head and responds, "Well, if that spike and all the broken fossils are anything to go by, it seems that Faerz magic isn't Draconic in nature like we originally thought. Something or someone existed long ago that could hunt these creatures to extinction. Though how they did it, we don't know." With a big smile, Barry points to the spike, "But perhaps if we research this spike, it would lead to answers we are looking for."

Barry then turns to the party and says, "Well, you have done a very fine job. Now all we have left to do is leave the fossil here and go back to Drynia. Once we get out of the cave, I will pay you. Will 100 PP per person be enough?"

Valwarin listen to their conversation and resumes his elf form.

" We've encountered this kind of magic before, and it had terrible consequences... there was this statue that turn the son of a farmer into a werewolf and made her burn to death in the end. " 

He looks to Elsara to let her explain further.

Elsara informs you that the magic surrounding the statue was NOT Faerz magic.

(OOC: ooops my bad... I was thinking it was all this time XDD ) 

(If it helps, think of this magic being blue magic while the magic that made Jay blow up was red magic)

"Sure, we can help you get out of here. Mind if we take a short break to tend to our wounds?" Gendan says as she cricks her neck and rubs her dislocated shoulder.

Gendan thinks that's probably the quickest way to the paycheck, but she's not opposed to tearing up some other enemies if the opportunity arises.

Valwarin casts another spell when they are ready to go out. 

"I'll ask the Mother to conceal our movements, so we should leave this tunnels unnoticed. "

He then reassumes his wolf form, happy to leave the tunnels once and for all and to be again under the sky seems to change the mood of the druid.

OOC: Cast Pass without Trace on the party to get out before turning back to Wolf form and lead the way.

Summer 54
Time: 2:30 PM

You guys successfully exit the cave and approach town. Barry says, "Well, we couldn't have done it without you. I'm going to go and report the findings to the circle." Briggs responds, "I'm going to go and mobilize the rest of the Dragon Knights. I'm pretty sure 5 will be enough but I'm going to get all 7 of us on the case. Thanks for your help." Barry then hands each party member a small pouch containing 100 PP (I will add it to your character sheet now).

Right after the pair leaves, you notice something flying in the sky. It gets larger and larger at an alarming rate until it makes a very speedy landing near you. You notice that it's another Pegasus Carriage. This one is different from the previous one as it's a bit smaller and it's shape is slightly more rounded at the edges and vaguely resembles a tear drop. There are 6 Pegasi on the front and two more to the sides. This craft has traded most of its hard iron for Mithral and light wood. The places which are under the most pressure while take off and landing are still made of strong hard wood and iron. The pilot is a familiar dark feathered Aarakocra woman who goes by the name Catherine Darkwing. The doors to the carriage open up and Guild Master Horace Sweetcane comes out accompanied by a Half-drow fighter (Again: I must remind everyone that Drow are not evil in this world). Horace greet you with his hearty laugh and says, "It's been awhile. I have an important mission for all of you. We'll talk more in the carriage since we'll be cooped up in it for a while. This mission will be a bit tough so I'm giving you 30 minutes to go into town and gather whatever supplies you need. Meet back here at exactly 3:00 PM and we'll take off." He then motions to his companion and says, "Let me introduce the newest member of the Guild, Devarus Daknin. He will be joining you in the next mission and hopefully for many more adventures to come."
